If you have a 20 gallon or less tank, this plant will have a major impact. It is very full in the tank, and dramatic as the tops will float on top in a standard tank set-up. You can weave stems into the decor, thread through rocks or ornaments, etc. If you're budget minded you could cut the plant down and anchor the tops yourself by tying it to a rock or lead weight. I put it in a tank of platys and they dart in and out of the leaves all day. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that the green is almost a day-glo lime color. In my (natural-looking) set-up it looks pretty unnatural. Still, all in all, it was a really good deal for such a big and versatile plant.

I hooked this air stone up to a 100 ga Whisper air pump along with the 48" flexible air tube. This puts out an enormous amount of bubbles for its size. I actually had to crimp the tube a bit to reduce the amount of air because the bubbles it was producing were dislodging my plecos from their perches under a stump. Definitely worth the purchase and it makes for an amazing show of bubbles under any decorations or amongst plants.

I have a 75 gallons tank and wanted to give it better oxygenation, so I started looking for an aerator. I had to think a lot before deciding which size to get, and in the end I bought the 3" one. As others said, it produces an enormous amount of bubbles for its size, and it's perfect for my vertical aquarium, so considering its power, you might as well consider that the size is utterly important, depending on the size of your tank; I believe the 3" will work great for 100-gallons-and-less aquariums.The only disadvantage is that it needs some weight to stay down, I had to tie it to the bottom. Besides that, it's perfect, and having it for a week with 6 ten-inches goldfishes who usually make a mess everywhere, it was pretty much clean.

This little airstone 5" is wonderful for my koi ponds and smaller 90 gallon aquariums. I use drilled slate disk from the fish store to anchor the air stone any place I want, they are cheap, and sold for anchoring plants. I just run the airline through the hole and drop the airstone any place I want in either ponds or tanks, and believe me without the slate disk, these airstones would be moved around by my koi. I put these into 1 gallon bubble buckets and they performed GREAT!Lots of bubbles! They do not have weights though, so they float around a lot. No biggie for farmers but fish people might not like it.

Aquatic Creations Static Cling Aquarium Background, 36 by 18-Inch, Ruins
The "Ruins" scene background shows a colosseum underwater. I was looking for a background that had sun rays shining into the water. It is a nice background but I wish the sun's rays and colosseum were more pronounced. Once it is on, all you really see is blue. So I was disappointed with that.The good part is that it was easy to attach. The trick was using a spray mister and spraying water on it before smoothening it out using a credit card. Some bubbles in the plastic but not much. A big plus is that I did not have to use tape or any adhesive. No sticky stuff on the tank. It is made of rather thick plastic so it should last a long time without ripping or pealing off.
Overall I am happy with this item. It is well made, easy to apply, and I like the blue color (just wish the design showed more.)

TOM Aquarium Temp Alert Fahrenheit Digital Thermometer
Got this for my 29G tank and it works as described. It's much better than the "peel & stick" thermometers. Displays the time and temp. The alarm/alert can be turned if needed and the temp probe is plenty long. If you own an aquarium this is what you want to maintain the perfect temp. Also works great with water changes. You can get the "new" water the perfect temp BEFORE you add it to your tank.

This a good thermometer for the money. It works quite well. The only issue I have is the alarm when the water gets above 80 degrees. This thermometer only displays the temp where the probe is, not room and water temp as their misleading claim. The temp alarms (2 not 4 as claimed) are preset to alert you if the temp drops below 75 or above 82 degrees, they claim it has 4 alerts which is not true . 75 degrees is max for my tank so alerts are useless. So be sure you can use it before you buy it. I bought 4 different types of digital thermometers and put all 4 in one tank with the probes side by side and all 4 have a different reading. In contrast to what I read in another review here before purchasing the thermometer, I found that the high and low temp alerts are preset to (if I remember right) 76 and 82 or so. This is not workable for me (I'm in Tucson and keep my house at 85 or so in the summer) so I returned it. Part of the description also talks about 4 alert features. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what this means. That each of the two alerts turns both on and off?
Sicce Voyager 3 Power Stream Pump, 1200gph
I ordered two of these on the same day from Amazon (decided later in the day to order the second pump). First one arrived, I unboxed it and installed it. I ordered the Voyager 3, and that is indeed what is marked on the box, and what the label on the pump says. However, I was quite disappointed in the output. It was definitely NOT 1200GPH.Then, the next day, the second pump arrived. It too was labeled "Voyager 3" on the box and the pump, but the magnet was definitely much LARGER and the water flow output was SIGNIFICANTLY higher, definitely the 1200gph it is rated for. Obviously this other pump was mislabled by the manufacturer. I am returning the incorrect pump to Amazon for replacement, hopefully the replacement isn't botched up also.
I will say this, they are VERY quite on the Red Sea wavemaker. You only hear the humm of them running, which is very quiet. No click/clack on startup.

So far these have been marvelous pumps, extremely quiet. They are really big for their flow rate, but that's forgivable. Magnets are strong, flow is very WIDE as it should be, and is by FAR the quietest pump I've ever, EVER seen on a wavemaker.

Zilla Fresh Air Non-Locking Screen Clips, 2-Pack
I bought these for a snake cage and they are extremely difficult to attach to the zilla screen. Stupid to think that Zilla would make clips that fit their screens. Once I finally got them on the screen with pliers and a friend's help, they didn't work. The flimsy metal allows the lid to be pushed up without difficulty from a young corn snake. He is able to push his lid up unless I put books on top, but that looks tacky. So I invested in these clips and I'm still using the books. The clips are a waste of time and money. I'm trying to return them and I guess I'll just continue to have books on my snake cage.

TOM Stellar Air Pump W-40 - 40gal to 55gal tank
I have this pump on my 20 gallon long aquarium for the 2 under gravel filters. It absolutely pumps the air with no problem whatsoever. Very strong. It is noisy though. It does seem more like white noise but if you are looking for a whisper quiet pump then this wouldn't be the one.The cord is long and it was a piece of cake to set up. The one I received is all black. It is not like the picture so if you're expecting what's in the picture, I have to assume you will also get a black one. (I prefer black so I was fine with it)

I bought this product because I knew I was going to run multiple air stones off one air pump and I wanted to control the air flow better than simply using a splitter.My air pump is a Rena 400 with two outlets, which works out nicely because this Air Control Valve has two inlets (it comes with a plastic plug for one of the inlets just in case your air pump only has one outlet). I have an undergravel filter which uses four of the ports and a 12" airstone running off the fifth port.
During my initial setup, I had to tweak all four ports to make sure the air coming out of each stone was what I wanted. This valve allowed me to do that well. Since it's plastic and not metal, the fine tuning was a little more difficult. However, this wasn't a big problem, it just took an extra couple of minutes. Once it was set, I haven't had to mess with it again. We'll see what happens when I have to change out my air stones.

Lionhead Pellets - Mini - 12.3 oz.
I feed this to my two ~4 year old goldfish (won at the fair... nothing fancy). They were already getting pretty big after I moved them to a 30 gallon tank. Within a few months of feeding them this food I think they doubled in size! They look really healthy overall, and seem to like the food. One of them previously had a "floatiness" problem where the swim bladder would cause him(her?) to flip sideways a lot, and this food has dramatically reduced that problem. (for those with who have fish with similar issues... shelled peas every few days did the trick to completely cure it)
Oh, I should also mention that my goldfish are not of the lionhead variety and this food serves them well. A couple of my new ones are oranda types but I'm not sure this has done much to promote head growth, though they were just cheap pet store hybrids so maybe they didn't have much to work with genetically in the first place. But anyway, good food for all fancy types and even feeding a young koi I'm babysitting (though he is quickly out growing the aquarium on this food since he's much faster than the fancy goldfish)

This Hikari food, like all the other "Gold" foods, is highly digestible not just in comparison to other brands of food but also in comparison to Hikari's regular fair. I feed less, see less solid waste in the tank, and my fish get more nutrition. In fact, I have to keep an eye out that I don't let them get fat. It turns out to be very economical.Also, I even have common goldfish starting to show a little bit of wen growth, and one fish is about 14 years old! That's truly amazing!
Unless I step up to feeding gel and live foods, I'll always feed my goldfish Hikari Gold foods.

It is actually a pack of 2 20-30 gallon filters. i would highly suggest getting 2 powerheads for this set up and only using one tube on each filter. it is set up to have 4tubes with noisy air bubblers. Power heads filter more water, create better circulation, and are much more quiet. My fish and i are quite happy with it.

Marineland (Aquaria) AMLPR3410 Aquarium Hood with Lamp Base Replacement Assembly for Eclipse Power
We purchased this replacement cover for an Eclipse 12 freshwater home aquarium. The Eclipse 12 is what many wold consider a modest "desktop" sized aquarium that is great for home or office, and especially great for kids. Well, the hinged lid on the Eclipse we had broke, as did the built in light.We purchased this new hood with lamp base to keep out Eclipse 12 running. This unit is well made, and we were happy to get a light that could work again, as the other died as a result of calcium deposits ( typical with hard water, no fault of the product).
Everything was great, until we realized this hood assembly did not come with a lid to keep the fish from jumping out of the tank! The Eclipse 12 came with a lid, but it brokeso we were expecting this replacement to have the lid already in it. NOPE.
This product is well made and works fine, but lacking that lidI just don't get it....it's a $2.00 plastic part that should ABSOLUTELY be part of this package for the price! If you are in need of a lid too, be aware that you will have to find one separately. We have been unable to locate one as of yet!!
I would stick with the standard size aquariums with the standard hoods and pay extra for a fluval filtration system and nice skimmer. I'm reconsidering replacing the tank instead of buying the new hood system.
The tank is pleasing to look at and is bright, though.When our original lamp broke (poor design cover cracked and moisture gets in) I ordered this. While it works, it is still a poor design and I'm sure will break again within a year or so. Plus, this doesn't fit the tank quite the same as the original and now the tank has calcium/lime build up all down the sides of the tank an d not just the lid.This thing is not staffed. Is designed for people working in a pet store that can man up the details. With the sellers say it is uselessReplacement cover required use the cover from previous set up and a lamp cover but the switch and light now work on my 10 year old system
