Despite the fact that I thought this item was a little pricey, it does do wonders for my tank. I love the way it fits around the air pump and my African Dwarf frog loves hanging on the grass. And while it is a little big for my Baby BiOrb, it's an easy way to brighten up my tank.

This decoration really boosts the appearance of my biOrb. It is easy to clean and very cute. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spice up the aesthetics of their aquarium. My betta fish likes it too as he frequently swims in and out of it.

I love this product. I bought it because it was aesthetically beautiful and had great reviews, and I didn't let me down! The soft leaves are not only beautiful and natural looking, but they do not tear at my fragile betta's fins like many other artificial plants of inferior quality. I have a regular cube aquarium that is 1.5g with a single delta tail betta (Merman), and I will say that even a small grass ring is quite large. It fills a huge chunk of the middle, so if you have a tiny tank (smaller than 1.5g), I wouldn't recommend it. (I'm upgrading to a 6 gallon and mixing this decor with real plants so it won't be a problem). I shoved some sand over the bottom to make it appear like it was growing out of the sand. I really like that it is weighted in a ceramic ring there's not risk of it floating up and destroying the illusion of a real plant. Another huge plus of having this biOrb grass ring is that it is hollow in the middle, obviously because it is meant to fit over the air filter tube of a biOrb. In my non-biOrb tank, the hollow middle part serves as a very ingenious "cave" that my betta loves hanging out in, and sleeping in. It is so thick with hair grass that you can't see the hollow in the middle imagine my initial surprise when I was looking for Merman and he was nowhere to be found! Eventually he came lazily swimming out of his new hang out in the middle of the hair grass, it was hilarious. He adores it.

As a tip, it is definitely worth it to gently bend the leaves while doing that first rinse, so that they end up spreading outwards in the tank. It looks much more natural that way, and your fish will love swimming in and out of the leaves. The only con is that this is really expensive by fake aquarium plant standards, but the quality and fun of it all is priceless.

i purchased this item almost 4 years ago. i have had great results. it is the best filter for the money. i do clean my bio balls and sponge block every 6-9months in fresh water. it keeps my 90gal reef tank in excelent cond. i would buy it again.

First one out of the box the overflow box leaked. I called globalpets and told them about it.

They responded quick and was able to ship me another over flow a week later.

Everything worked as expected except the siphon from the tank back to the overflow wasn't

going very fast so the return pump didn't have enough water to pump back.

This looks like a good product if you have: 1)aquarium bigger than 55 gallons, 2)no very small fish.

I have 55 gallons aquarium and the space under it is kind of too small for this filter. I don't have much room left for extention cords or any power strips. And if I put a power strip there it is too close to all the water and I am worrying about any contact of electricity and water. Maybe it is because the back of my aquarium is close to a wall and I can't put any equipment there too.

The second problem I had is that my young flame angel fish was tossed by the return water when it wanted to swim closer to the top.

I tried to direct the return pipe to the wall of the aquarium but the fish was flying anyway. My bigger blue tang was fine though.

The third problem for me was that I have habbit to a really quiet tank and the pump for the filter was making to much noise for my taste. I had Catalina Aquarium CA 2200 Aquarium Pump 850 GPH

But the biggest problem was the company I bought it from. It was GlobalPets

I tried the filter just once and considering all the problems wanted to return it. They would not accept it back even for a restocking fee. I never will buy from them anymore. Be sure that it is OK for you not to be able to return if you ordering from them.

Reptile Cafe Log Hide-Away Tank Décor

I received this product for a baby fat tailed gecko and it seemed fairly small so I measured it and the actual inside of the log is less than 1" high and wide and maybe 4" long. The height was measured to the top of the piece that sticks up on top and the overall length is about an inch shorter than it states. Do not purchase if you have an animal larger than an anole, small snake or crabs.

I purchased this very cute item because the product information said it was okay for an aquarium. The paint peeled within 2 weeks. It should only be used in reptile cages. It was smaller than advertised, 5.5x2.2x2.5, and expensive for what it actually is.

I got this thinking I would use it in my Crested Geckos cage, it is a little tiny for that, but it is a prefect fit for my Fire Belly Toads. Even my biggest female fits under the log with 2 of your suitors at the same time.

Love the look of this but again I did not realize how small it was. This is also very well made and the price was right for me.

We have hermit Crabs and they love it. It was as advertised and we found the same thing at the pet store but for a higher price.

Aqueon 06093 Faucet Adaptor

I got this to hook up our water changing kit, but it did not fit our faucet. Also, this is the exact same adapter that is included with the water changing kit.

It seems like this is the first part to go bad on the Aqueon water changer, so it's nice they offer a replacement. Of course, if you'd rather just replace it once, rather than over and over again, look for a nice metal faucet to garden hose adapter at any hardware store -it's equivalent.

Why sell an adapter designed identically like the adapter that comes with the water changer? What a ripoff. Save your time and money.

biOrb & biUbe Aquarium Stand, 14" W X 27" H

A great little stand for your biOrb, biUbe or Marineland Hex5 fish tank.

One important note however, the photo used doesn't accurately portray what you'll receive.

The upright column is actually a matte gray more akin to PVC than the polished chrome you see in the photo.

The back of the stand is actually composed of two flat black boards, not a solid piece as depicted above. As a result the chords coming down from your tank will be dangling visibly taking away from the slick presentation you're hoping for.

That said, it's still a nice little stand.

I paid for functionality, storage, and appearance; I received none of these. Like the 2011 review, what I received is not what is pictured or described. The stand they sent doesn't match that reviewer's description no gray or chrome all black. There is no storage space. The unit is just three planks (only 23" tall instead of the 27 advertised) made of sturdy wood (or maybe wood-like). These assemble in an H formation. There are also two disks to put top and bottom. The disks are not 14" in diameter as specified, but 13.75" and with the beveling there's less than 13" diameter of usable space. It's wobbles easily on carpet, tile, linoleum and hardwood. I will not risk using it for my Hex5 tank which had been it's intended purpose. I might consider putting a one-gallon aquarium on it if I didn't have pets, kids, or anyone who might accidentally brush against it and send my betta to an untimely demise. Good points: it arrived promptly, was easily assembled, is black and round, works well with my decor, and should hopefully support a glass or two, so I can at least use it as an end table. In hindsight that's too much to pay for a cup holder.

I can hide my fish accessories within it pretty well, its quite sturdy, even on carpet. It's been great. Looks very nice, can't complain.

I gave this 3 stars because the sail poles came broke and required a little bit of sanding (everything does to make safe for fish that is) but overall the boat isn't to small or to big and my cichlids love to use for cover and still looks decent.

I have owned this for about one year and it is excellent, provided you buy the hanging mount. The timer works as promised and allows you to set an ON and OFF time for the white, blue, and LED lights. The light is bright and I have had no problems with the unit.

My only complaint is with the included arms, which are intended to hold the unit above the aquarium. They are horrible. The plastic is weak and will become damaged if you move the fixture too often.

That said, the hanging mount which you can buy separately is excellent, and has worked very well for me. As another reviewer noted, should you buy the mounting unit, plan ahead. It must be attached to the back of your aquarium stand, and if that area is inaccessible, you will have to drain the tank so you can move the stand and attach the mount.

most impressive light i've ever seen. simply awesome. agreed with the other reviews, totally plug and play, easy to set up. plants responded instantly. absolutely love the sunrise/sunset/lunar modes. gives a blue hue that makes the bubbles glow as well as my teal hoses. perfect addition to the tank.

most impressive is how it's 100% replacable. the LED timer was a concern, being digital... it's replaceable (priced today at $33), fans, ballasts, bulbs, legs, everything can be replaced individually.

i have no problems with the factory stands. they don't seem cheap or flimsy to me. seems to hold up nicely. i have a 75 gallon tank so this doesn't take up all of the real-estate at the top. i was able to keep one of my previous T5's (two bulbs) to add a high-noon mode from 11am to 2pm. plants seem to enjoy that as well.

The only thing I don't like about this product are the support legs. They are low quality. But other than that I would recommend it to anyone.

This light fits great on my tank. The timer is easy to use and set up. I have a 90 gal with the MegaFlow filter system with the filter underneath, so there is plenty of room to slide the light back a few inches and open my glass lid. Appears to be a very solid product!!

Ive owned these pumps for a little while now and have had no problems with them they move a lot of water in my 90 gallon saltwater tank and i have just anofe room to mount the controller on the side of my stand the suction cups are really strong and have had no problems with them coming loose as of now and the controller is a nice feature aswell you are kind of limited to what you can do with the controller and it definitely does not make a wave in my tank but all in all these are great pumps so far also they are very large so keep that in mind

Water Lily - Medium White and Green - 8 1/2 in.

I bought this for my betta tank, but in pink and a little spikier petals, and it looks very nice! The flower part is right below the surface of the water in my tank, and bettas love to lay on and in things right at the surface, so I find him there in his flower constantly throughout the day resting. It's well made, I like the gravel bowl base a lot, and it's very easy to clean. The plastic isn't rough or hard, so it won't cut your fish's fins. Very happy with this product.

I was expecting it to be a little tall than it is. I think 8.5 inches is rather generous. More like 6. I do like how the leaves are detachable, and I like the gravel tray.

Do wish I could pick my color though, I got pink. I hate pink.

Shipping costs jack this thing up to $10. This things not worth $10.

Exotic Environments Ancient Stone Head Ruin Aquarium Ornament

Marineland Eclipse 12 Gallon tank, newly setup. The statue will look much nicer with moss and algae and more plants growing around it.

I love this ornament! I got it for my 20 gallon tank, and it's awesome. It's very nicely made and not cheap-looking, like so many other aquarium ornaments. Although the amazon.com description does not include this info, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this ornament comes with a vent to hook it up to an air filter. However, you will have to provide an airstone (as well as the air line and air pump, of course), because there is no airstone connected to the air vent. Overall, I'm thrilled with this piece and I'm glad it was available here, because I haven't seen it in any stores at all.

I really like this. It very realistic and looked perfect when my plants started filling in around it. I attached an air hose and with a small, slow bubble flow it attracts compliments from all my visitors. The only caveat I have is that when cleaning I bumped the nose and a small patch of the outer skin came off, revealing the plastic underneath. Right on the nose! But it didn't look too bad so I left it and it now has a light dusting of algae which is covering the 'blemish' on her nose, making it look even more like old stone. I'm not sure whether I was too rough or it's a fault in manufacturing but other reviewers seem to appreciate the high quality of it's construction and otherwise it been fine.

Using this in a terrarium with plants and it looks like real stone and I really like the look of the piece.

I didn't know when I ordered it that it was also a bubbler that may have just been my lack of reading. It is nicely made. I'll try and update how the bubble works I figure it works fine and it is a standard size.The tube doesn't stick out, so you don't need to have the bubbler going if you don't want.
