Tetra Usa ATS19246 Multi-Pack 3 Water Wonders Aquarium Plant

Tetra Usa ATS19246 Multi-Pack 3 Water Wonders Aquarium PlantThis product is great! I ordered them along with the series 4 and 5. All are pet shop quality. Will definitly order them again. Excellent quality and fast shipping

I like these plastic plants. They are fairly lengthy and reach the top of my 30 gallon tall aquarium. They are obviously plastic, but look nice.

They look good in the aquarium, and they can be made shorter to decorate if you need a shorter plants.

Vibran-Sea So. Amercian Rift Cluster Silk-Style Aquarium Plant, Large 13-14 tall, Plum

Vibran-Sea So. Amercian Rift Cluster Silk-Style Aquarium Plant, Large 13-14 tall, PlumWARNING! If you purchase these plants you will want to throw out all your old plastic ones, because they look super lame next to these beauties!

This is a lovely addition to my aquarium. The silk is so much nicer looking than plastic, and my turtle can't shred it like he does to real plants. They sway with the water flow and are just lovely.

The colors are fantastic! I was nervous they would look kinda cheesy cause they are so bright, but they are perfect. I actually just ordered more, even brighter Vibran-Sea plants!

The large plants are a nice mid-level plant for my 55 gallon, and the extra tall almost reach the top.

My turtle is seriously in love with these plants. He ignores all other plants, but these he has been hanging out in these new ones. Plus my fishies seem to enjoy them as well :)

First off let me say this, this picture does not do this product justice. The product that I received clearly does not look like the picture. I was happy with this product at first, except that it didn't stand up right, the plastic was a little flimsy and would not stand up straight. I solved this issue with a small plastic rod and zip-ties to hold it in place. The biggest issue came a few months later when I saw that my filter were picking up little blue filaments. The silk plants do not last and the blue stuff goes into my filters. One last issue I had is these plants are pretty hard to clean. Perhaps I'm not cleaning them correctly, but if algae gets on them they are there to stay. They are pretty to look at in the water, but not worth the trouble. I'm going to stick with plastic aquarium plants from now on.

This plant is nice enough, but I didn't think it was all that realistic looking. It tends to have a back and a front to it, so it matters how you put it in the tank. It's taller than the other fake plants, and has plenty of leaves.

I like the look of "silk" plants and the leaves and colors on this are no exception; however, I hate how obviously fake it looks because of its plastic stems and "veins". I also have problems getting them to stand up. They just lean over while under water.

I really liked the way this plant looked when I got it, it looks great in the water and moves around like a real plant would. This one is my favorite of the 3 vibran plants that I ordered. I am disappointed because it has stained a lot. I've tried cleaning it, to no avail. I've read that you shouldn't use bleach to clean anything that will go back in an aquarium so it seems that there aren't too many other options. Nice looking plant if you can figure out a way to clean it.

Seachem Ammonia Alert

Seachem Ammonia AlertMany people have had problems with this product. I sure didn't! It's important to note that this product can read 0ppm Ammonia, even while a salicylate test kit reflects plenty of ammonia. "Total ammonia" measures ammonium and "free" ammonia. The former isn't so bad, the latter is. More on this below, if you're really interested.

When my kids came home from a school carnival with 6 goldfish, I figured we'd wing it. A few days later we lost our first fish. Another few days, and another fish lost, and I bought the Seachem based on positive reviews I read elsewhere. At the same time, I had the water tested at Petsmart. The petsmart test said ammonia was high, and after letting the Seachem adjust overnight, it agreed. A few partial water changes later, and the level was dropping, but still not zero. I ordered an API test kit, and it reflected just what the seachem did. Finally, I got some filter media from a friend's tank, and the nitrifying bacteria got going properly. Ammonia dropped to zero, and the seachem reflected this too!

I had no luck with the "quick start" and other products that allegedly contain live bacteria. Only the filter media seemed successful in seeding the tank with the good bacteria.

All in all, the Seachem functioned perfectly, and it really helped as a visual indicator and daily reminder that things were not going well in the tank. I'm now quite confident that the seachem will indicate if ammonia levels rise again.

Now for the nitty-gritty: I believe so-called "ammonia remover" products bind ammonia into ammonium. While I tried these, I never saw a substantial drop in ammonia from it. My thinking is that these products attempt to reduce ammonia, but the problem is that ammonium breaks into ammonia at higher pH, and higher temperature. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about that. I've read on the Internet that the salicylate test does not reflect "total ammonia" (a term that refers to ammonium + ammonia), but it really does both according to the API instructions and by looking at the chemistry, the test creates conditions to convert all ammonium to ammonia. It measure the total. The seachem measures purely free ammonia according to their site.

First off, remove the plastic covering the sensor disk! I saw one of these in a friend's aquarium where they hadn't done that so they assumed the "safe" readings they were getting meant their tank was doing great.. not so! I guess they figured it looked so simple they didn't need to read the instructions first, but that's a fairly obvious thing to overlook!

Second, this is the exact same sensor material used in Seachem MultiTest Ammonia Test Kit. That test only tests for harmful free ammonia (NH3), but to be honest the test is a bit of a pain with having to time the test.. I never liked pulling it out, having to deal with the tiny little disks in the container, and waiting 15 or 30 minutes for the results.. but this alert is already ready to read (the color scale is not the same however, because of the longer "exposure" time).

Third, kits like the API Ammonia Test Kit measure TOTAL ammonia (NH3 and NH4). If you have chloramines in your water you WILL have tend to have false positive readings because of the ammonium formed when you use dechlorinator on your water (such as Seachem Prime. It doesn't mean you water is dangerous, it simply means that the chloramine has been converted into ammonium, and the API test can't tell the difference. I've had my tap water test as high as 2ppm for "ammonia" with the API test right after a water change the Seachem test would show 0. The doesn't mean the Seachem test is wrong or inaccurate, it's just more specific just like this alert disk.

Because of the issue with chloramines in my tap water cycling a new tank is a frustrating experience trying to use the API kit. I would constantly see positive "ammonia" readings while I could see my nitrites had spiked and had gone to 0 and I was seeing increasing amounts of nitrates, but using these disks simplifies the process. A partial WC can be done as the disk starts to turn blue in a fish-in cycle (or if you are dosing ammonia for a fishless cycle, you can add ammonia a little at a time until the disk turns dark blue), and the effect can be seen quickly as the disk changes color from blue to green (or even almost yellow). I think it's one of the best products available when you can't rely on the total ammonia readings from the API kit.

Buy Seachem Ammonia Alert Now

I used the ammonia alert to cycle my new aquarium (29g planted) with raw ammonia. Ten drops was enough to get it to show green(alert). Once I started getting nitrites, I cut it back to five daily drops. The indicator would go from green to yellow in approx. eight hours. Once the aquarium cycled, it has stayed yellow despite gradual addition of fish population. This has been verified by numerous ammonia tests by my fish store whenever I bought more fish. One caveat on use: Be sure to remove the plastic strip on the back before putting in the water. It would be easy to overlook.

Read Best Reviews of Seachem Ammonia Alert Here

If your like me your tap water has ammonia in it already, when using a water conditioner the ammonia is turned into a less harmful version, however it still shows up on water tests. This little reader can tell the difference between that and "free" ammonia, which is the most harmful version. In fact, some of the negative reviews stating that their ammonia levels were off the chart when checked with a test kit probably are seeing the conditioned ammonia and not the harmful ammonia.

IMO this is well worth it in your aquarium.

Want Seachem Ammonia Alert Discount?

Save your money and just go with the regular water testing strips. It's not only cheaper, but it also works. The label says that it takes a few days for it to adjust and give out accurate readings, but I've had it since last week and it still reads "alarm". I, panicked, kept constantly changing 25% of the water and after a few days of this with no change in the reading I decided to bring out my strips and use those. Sure enough my water quality wasn't lacking and is just fine. So I wouldn't trust this product. It would be nice if it was effective but it hasn't been proven anything to me.

API Melafix Antibacterial Fish Remedy

API Melafix Antibacterial Fish Remedy, 8-OunceMy betta developed popeye. It was bad and ugly. I had purchased a heater because I thought he was just cold, but soon his eye bulged out. I did daily water changes and the bulge lessened after 3 days. Then I got the melafix in the mail and started adding that to the water changes. After a week or two the eye went back to normal. I thought my little friend was a goner for sure, but he's doing well and even got his appetite back.

One of my fantails had a damaged tail fin right at the point where the two upper lobes bifurcate. I don't know if he got bit by one of the other guys or how it happened. Everyone else in the tank was fine and acting normally.

As soon as I saw the damage, I checked water conditions immediately and all was well no ammonia, pH normal, etc., etc. Rather than take a chance, I thought it best to treat for fin rot as that area just seemed like a strange place for a bite or nip. I decided to try Melafix first before anything more drastic. The instructions said treat for 7 days then do a 25% water change. The guys get a regular partial weekly water change anyway, so I did a partial water change, treated for 7 days and did another partial water change right on schedule.

The instructions say to repeat treatment if necessary; however, I decided to not re-treat as the damage seemed to be getting much better. Today is day 9 with no additional treatment and my sweet little fishie looks great! Not quite 100% but real close I'd say right around 98% cured. If I didn't know the damage was there, I couldn't tell the difference. Since I knew about it, obviously I was aware of what to look for, but right now he looks very, very good.

Since the only change made was the addition of the Melafix, I'd have to say that solved the problem.

Buy API Melafix Antibacterial Fish Remedy Now

I was skeptical when I bought this product and Pimafix when we noticed that our Glofish and Black Moors were sick. (They were that way when we bought them) It quickly helped regrow the fins that fin rot had taken from the Black Moors. We used it in conjunction with Pimafix and it worked great. It was also a great help when we accidently put a Puffer Fish in the tank with them. The Puffer tries to eat the Black Moors and tore up the fins and left gashes in one of them. After removing the Puffer Fish and rehoming him, we started treatment of Melafix and Pimafix. The tails and fins on our fish quickly started growing back and now we have two happy Black Moors swimming around in our tank. This is a great product that treats open red sores, fin and tail rot, eye cloud, pop eye, body slime and mouth fungus, and open body wounds. Myself and my fish highly recommend this product.

Melafix and Pimafix are two of the flagship products by fish care giant API(aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc) A homeopathic anti-bacterial treatment that works wonders in fresh, brackish and salt water aquariums. Unlike medications which are in essence chemicals Melafix uses a soluble extract called "Melaleuca"

Melaleuca is derived from Tea trees and is extraordinarily effective in treating and curing a multitude of problems including:

* Frayed Fins

* Fin and Tail Rot

* Cloudy Eye

* Pop Eye

* Body Fungus

* Slime Coat Deterioration

The typical treatment for any of the above is a daily dose of 5 ml per 10 gallons of water for seven days. Usually you'll see significant improvement within 48 hours it's that fast and that effective.Melafix can also be used when quarantining new fish and adding post quarantine fish into your community tanks. It's important to remember to remove activated charcoal during treatment.

Melafix can foam slightly but will never cloud your water or change your parameters. It's a safe, gentle highly effective product that I've depended on for decades. After 40 years of keeping fish Melafix is one of those products I highly recommend to anyone, novice to expert.

This is something that all fish owners need to keep on hand. I had a goldfish that got really BAD fin rot, another one of my fish wouldn't stop picking on him and so his fins started to rot from his wounds. It got so bad that he hardly had any fins left! Then 2 years later, the poor guy got stuck in the pump because he was sick and couldn't free himself. The pump damaged his fins pretty badly. Both times this stuff healed him up perfectly, and his fins grew back entirely. They are as full and beautiful as ever before. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and there's no reason why it shouldn't work!

The tubing has stuff written on it every 6" or so and I wasn't able to scratch it off either. It is clearly cut from a large spool and has no packaging of any kind. I'm not convinced that its aquarium tubing, I would bet that its medical tubing of some kind. It does work though. I do wish I had know of the writing on the tubing. Although the tubing it self is a 5 star quality item I'm giving it 3 stars based on the shadiness of my experience. There needs to be more in the description.

Marina Betta Kit Decorative Gravel, Pink

Marina Betta Kit Decorative Gravel, PinkFor whatever reason, I thought this would be a bigger package. Turns out 1 pound of gravel doesn't cover a lot of tank. Maybe enough for a small betta bowl, or to mix and match with other colors to make for a prettier bowl. I ended up buying another bag at the local pet shop in order to have enough to fill the bowl

make sure you read the amount, of only 8.5oz, hardly enough for a coating on the little 1.5gallon tank

at this price it is almost the same price for the 5 lb bags(80oz) you can get at the pet store

it does seem like a good quality stone on the plus side

1300 GPH Powerhead Aquarium Pump Wave Maker

1300 GPH Powerhead Aquarium Pump Wave MakerI have one on a 54 gallon corner aquarium and it can really move some water around, WOW! I only wish there was some way to reduce the amount of flow on these. I have it pointed a little above level to create surface agitation and it still moves the sand on the bottom of the tank creating dunes in the sand. My tank is 22" deep. In order to actually use it I took out the propeller and trimmed it down to a more reasonable flow rate, it was not too hard just make sure its equal on both sides. great product for the price.

I use two of these in my 46 gallon mixed reef. They alternate every 90 minutes and I know there are no dead spots in my tank! I actually had to position them in such a way that my live rock would diffuse some of the flow because it was moving too much of my sand bed. Great powerhead and you cant beat the price.

Penn Plax South Castle Aquarium Décor

Penn Plax South Castle Aquarium DécorPurchased this item at Pet Co and love it! We have a 29 gallon tank and it takes up the entire right side. We have 4 medium sized goldfish, and it is just the right size for their comfort. To put as a grouping (the left side castle), you will need at least a 50 gallon tank OR 30 gallon tank with smaller fish. Looks great with black rock or tan color, as it makes the castle really pop! The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5: I had already purchased the right side castle prior to buying this one. While they are similar, the color is slightly off. I would recommend, if you are going to use as a set, make sure you purchase together, rather than individual pieces. (Duh! on my part)

I got this castle for my 72 gallon fresh water tank. It makes the tank look awesome and the fish enjoy exploring all the rooms. This product was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. If you like the picture, you'll love the real thing!

Yes, it is only half of the whole castle and I have both in my 200g tank and for the price and the size of the both of them, WOW again. Both of the sides of the castle required some bit of sanding ( with a dremel about 20 mins each till I was happy, and that was stopping and checking them and going again and checking and rechecking,) but it was not bad. Also they look Great and provide all kinds of cover and areas inside and out that allow my cichlids to create that Line of sight issue when chasing or being chased which lowers aggression. Overall for both sides of this castle and the price I have not found anything better then the both of them anywhere to include the internet!!!!

Fish & Aquatic Supplies Bio Wheel 10 Gallon Kit W/ Led Light

Fish & Aquatic Supplies Bio Wheel 10 Gallon Kit W/ Led LightWhen my Marineland bow front acrylic 12 gallon aquarium failed (the filtration system died,) after 6 months, I decided to purchase the Marineland 10 gallon glass aquarium.

Pros: Glass aquarium is easier to clean, surface won't scratch like acrylic tanks.

10 gallon tank is long & narrower than bow front, size & shape good for guppies.

Penguin bio wheel filtration system better power, quiet, easier to clean, replace

filter cartriges.

LED lighting system is better than light bulb in acrylic tanks. Freedom to select from

sliding switch at top for bright white light, blue lights & lights off. Improvement

over push button that easily malfunctioned on the bow front tanks.

With small fish like guppies, there is enough room in tank for bottom gravel &

plants, decorations.

Cons: Glass tanks are heavier, I purchased a wooden shelf-stand, put stand together myself,

supports 10+ gallon tank.

Problems with water splashing into the LED light hood unit. Penguin filter splashes

some water up into the hood, same with bubble stone. LED unit isn't 100% protected

from water droplets even though there is a thin acylic plate between water surface &

LED light unit. My LED unit was water damaged. Disconnected LED unit, allowed it to

dry out, eventually LED worked again though not as bright. This LED unit is expensive

to replace. Should I have placed an extra layer of protection, like a piece of plastic

wrap between the thin plastic plate & the LED light unit?

Is it possible to open up the LED light unit & clean inside to restore lights to

original brightness? Opening up light unit would probably void the warranty though.

Right now I can't afford to replace the LED light unit for this tank. Instead I have

to keep the water level lower than normal to keep water splashes from getting up to the

acrylic plate. And, sadly, can't enjoy bubble stone due to water splashing into LED

unit. I will attempt to work out these problems myself.

Subtracted the one star from this 10 gallon aquarium due to water splashing up into the hood & potential damages to the LED light unit.

Yes, I would buy this company's glass aquariums again, possibly add another glass tank in future, however, I would find a way to resolve the problem with the LED light unit & hood.

This is a great kit...LED lighting, bio-wheel, heater. I have 1 betta, 2 corycats, and 2 otocinclus residing in this little community. I only had to add a bubbler and of course plants, etc. For the price, it is a great starter tank...or like me...a great tank to place on your sturdy night stand so you can sleep with the sound of water! My fish are very happy!

Exotic Environments Castle Fortress with Gargoyles Aquarium Ornament, 10-Inch by 3-1/2-Inch by 5-1/

Exotic Environments Castle Fortress with Gargoyles Aquarium Ornament, 10-Inch by 3-1/2-Inch by 5-1/2-InchI gave this product 4 out of 5 stars, because it is smaller than it seems and there's a few key aspects not mentioned in the product description, so read on.

The castle measures just over 5.5 inches in height, just under 8.5 inches in length and 3 inches in width (width measured at the bottom).

From the picture you can't tell, but the main two windows only measure 1/2 an inch in width and .75 in height, so only small fish can fit through. Also, the top of the towers have very SMALL openings, about the size of a dime, so again, very small fish might be able to fit through. The openings do not have sharp edges, so no need to sand them.

The overall construction is actually very good, sturdy and nicely painted. If you plan to mod it somehow, you'll need a precise and strong tool, I would guess some kind of Dremel attachment. It's made of some kind of hardened plastic.

I ended up not using this castle in my aquarium, because it looked too small in it. I have a 50 gallon, oval shaped glass aquarium, so it has more height than length. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

After many years of wanting an aquarium, I recently purchased a 20 gallon aquarium. I bought this ornament as my center piece in the tank and I must admit that I love it! My tank is gargoyle themed so it really balances out my tank perfectly! It is not too big or too small.

ARIO 2 COLOR Aquarium Aerator

This aerator is lovely, the blue light creates a cool atmosphere during the night and it does not seem to bother the fish. If you have a big aquarium and your fish enjoy currents you need something else as well or another aerator. Try placing it facing diagonally not just face up, that helps in avoiding clogging up so fast.

Ok so I was hesitant to buy since many other users have said it stops working. i thought maybe I would try and see. This is a crappy product. The manufacturer did not design this well. The issue is that the fan shaft has a magnet connected to it. This magnet separates very fast and then it does not spin and create bubbles. It worked for a few minutes. The manufacturer wants you to return it or buy a new fan piece, but why should we have to go through all of that? Just make a good product. This has no reflection on the seller who did a great job. The product is bad and the other reviewers are pretty accurate. I would not recommend. I have tried some non toxic glue to see if I can get the magnet to stay attached. I will see and hope this works otherwise I will purchase from a different company. The led light is cool and works with no issue.

While these shrimp are EXTREMELY hardy and and can TOLERATE unfit habitats it is more humane to keep them in a tank or bowl that you can feed them in and make water changes.

Waste of money. My tank water was not too bad to begin with, but I thought I would try this with some carbon for the extra polish, instead of buying more Seachem Purigen 250ml (which makes water crystal clear). What a waste of money! From day one this has done nothing to clear my water, in fact it made it worse. It makes my AquaClear power filter stink after a few days (it was not clogged), and after 3 weeks of no results I threw out the filter pad and am not looking back. I have way too much of this stuff left, sitting in the cabinet under my tank, collecting dust. If you can't afford or don't like Purigen, polyester pillow stuffing (a.k.a. "filter floss") works better than this. Would not recommend.

In the past I've tried products like Cycle by Nutrafin and Easy start by Tetra but in most cases these products were used in setting up fast quarantine and hospital tanks.

Most of these products want you to use them continuously which doesn't make sense. If you have a fully cycled tank why would keep adding new strains of bacteria to already established water? Well, I think because some manufacturers want you too keep coming back for more and the price of admission isn't cheap.

Cycle at around $22 for 16 ounces encourages you to dose your tank with 5 ml for every ten gallons once a week and 10 ml for every ten gallons during water changes.

Nonsense.

This brings me to "Stability" by Seachem (one of my favorite companies)But being partial to them and their product line doesn't mean I don't question or research as best I can. That said, I'm nursing a new 55, a 40 and 125. I had a bottle of Stability which I had bought on a what the heck basis the 55 has fish in it, I seeded the filter but still had serious ammonia spikes.

The bacteria used in competitive products are inherently unstable. And for the bacteria to survive it must live in the exact temperature, PH and other water parameters in which it was raised and colonized. When you add this bacteria to your aquarium, it survives for a brief while but then crashes and dies.

Stability on the other hand, has bacteria that can survive in almost any kind of water fresh and salt and virtually any type of water conditions. Seachem states the strain took a decade to develop. What sets it further apart from the competition is that it contains nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria which isn't the case for any other product of it's kind. Seachem also states other bacterial supplements form toxic hydrogen sulfide something that can never happen with Stability.

With this said, I've dosed my new tanks according to the directions which are 5 ml per 10 gallons on the first dose and a follow up of 5 ml per 20 gallons for 7 days. What I've noticed and noticed quickly, is that my water is clearly more stabilized. Currently I show no ammonia on the API test or Seachem Ammonia Alert meter it's been five days since the last dose and all of my readings are in the safe zone.

I don't use it for water changes but having experienced the problems of adding fish to a non or partially cycled tank, I have not so fond memories of daily 50% -80% water changes for weeks..ugh.

Where Stability shines is in helping you protect your fish and stabilize the water, especially in keeping the primary fish killer -ammonia in check. So for specific applications Stability is an excellent product. It's harmless to fish and appears to deliver on it's promise. But as a weekly or even monthly addition to established tank maintenance I wouldn't suggest it.

To their Credit, Seachem says you can use it as an on going additive but unlike other products they don't make it sound like you have to.

This is a wonderful product that we find to work very well. Whenever we add fish, have an issue with our tank, or treat the fish, we use stability. This is by far the best price and size to purchase. The seller shipped this fast and secure.

This review is meant for both Seachem's Stability and Seachem's Matrix.

I helped my son set up his 120 gallon African cichlid tank. We went through about 5 or 6 different filters and settled on an Eheim. From what we had learned from our research on tank setups we had understood that the filter media, once properly colonized, will remove ammonia and nitrites from the water but will not remove nitrates (ammonia gets converted by one kind of bacteria in the filter to nitrites and in turn another kid of bacteria will convert the nitrites into nitrates). The only way to reduce the nitrate levels is by either having live plants or even better, periodic water changes. We were also told that if we have a deep enough substrate then after about 6 months or so, if we get lucky, deep in the substrate will develop a bacterial colony that will help reduce the nitrates.

As I continued my research I stumbled on to the Seachem web site. I was impressed by the specs of their Matrix product. It claimed to be able to support bacteria that will eliminate nitrates from the water. Great! Now all I have to do is buy this filter media, wait six months and I'm all set. Not only that, but from what I've read on the Internet, it could take up to two whole months for the ammonia and nitrites eating bacteria to properly develop.

Well, luck for me, I found the Stability product. I added both the Matrix filter media and Stability to my setup (Stability needs to be added to the water on a daily basis for one week) and tested the water after one week. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the ammonia and nitrites levels had dropped down to 0! My son was telling me not to bother testing for nitrates because it's guaranteed that they'll be there. I tested anyway and guess what? Zero!

This works like magic!

Aquarium Hood Black Fluorescent - 16 Inch to 72 Inch

Fluorescent Hood 48 InchThe product looked nothing like the picture provided. I ordered a 72 inch hood. Although the hood was 72 inches, it required a 48 inch bulb. There is no bulb included, and it is also missing the adjustable knob that is shown in the picture.

This is a 72" Hood with a 48" light inside. This left my 125 gallon aquarium a little darker on the ends. I wished the seller would be honest with there descriptions, this is not the first seller/company I came across with this review about miss leading information. The picture shows the light fixture going to almost the end of the hood, but reality their is a 12" empty space on either end. Their were no reviews on this one at the time I ordered the light or I may have looked into the ones at the pet store more. But as you can see now I'm not the first person to complain about this. The light is kind of cheap itself, and never seen an aquarium light without a ground. But the price was at least right. I maybe would of even bought 2 of these if they combined the shipping, and had know it was not a 72" light. Mine came nicely packaged and had the light bulb with it. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about with the adjuster, but did not see anything about or place to make adjustments. Shipping was extra fast, 3 days before the estimated delivery time frame. I would by from this seller again. Maybe all the lights are like this now, I noticed in the pet stores there 36" light is really a 24" light but states this in big writing on the boxes. So to the seller please descried your items correctly, in this case it could have made you another sale.

So again to the readers THIS IS A 48" LIGHT INSIDE A 72 HOOD
