The leaves were a lot smaller than I had anticipated but being that i got the Large, it was a lot of plant. The only problem with it was the suction cup. it didnt want to stick at first and it was really annoying but (it may sound gross) after applying some saliva its actually kind of difficult to remove. my cornsnake absolutely loves it

For an item that did not cost me very much money, it is one of the most AMAZING things I've ever bought. As a tank vacuum it works beautifully. Need to do a water exchange on your tank? Just a couple squeezes and you can quickly siphon out however much water that you want. Totally cleaning your tank out? This siphon will get all but about a half tablespoon of the water out. Take a wash cloth, wipe out your tank, and your done! Literally in only a couple of minutes (for 10 gallon tank) from start to finish. I could not be happier. I recommend it to all fish enthusiasts. One thing I do have that makes it even easier is a plastic 6-gallon water jug; I put the hose in it, fill it to where it's still easy for me to carry, and dump it.I love this vacuum! Okay, so I bought this for my 30 gallon aquarium, which is 36 inches across, 12 inches wide and about 14 inches tall. I do leave about an inch and a half of space in my aquarium, so there's a little over 12 inches of water (however, after a week and a half of evaporation the water level is normally closer to 10 inches when I change it). I wanted to mention that because I noticed some people complaining that the vacuum wasn't long enough and their hands were getting wet. So, with those measurement, I'll tell you that the vacuum is the perfect size and my hand stays perfectly dry. I have my tank on a stand, of course, so I simply place a chair next to the stand, and place the bucket on the chair for the hose to sit in. This works perfectly for me and it places the bucket of water at a decent height for picking it up. At first, I left the hose attached to the vacuum when I wasn't using it, however, I quickly learned that the plastic will then bend, which will cause it to pop off as you're vacuuming (leaving a very wet mess). Luckily there's two side to the hose, so I just attached it at the non bended side and now I detach them when I'm not using it, and haven't had that problem since. Hope this helps!!
I use this product regularly in 2 freshwater aquariums. This is a busy household and we don't do as many water changes as we should. So I keep both an under gravel and an over the tank filter and use stress zyme every other week or so. One of the tanks has fancy goldfish, and one goldfish has grown to carp size and he eats a lot and messes a lot. There is a more delicate fish in the goldfish tank that starts to suffer when I need to add stress zyme, long before the tank actually looks dirty. Once I add the stress zyme he perks right up. The second tank is bala sharks with a red tail and an angel. This tank seems healthy, but I throw in some stress zyme when I do the other tank because its a huge tank and its hard to vacuum. And the tanks stay nice with only about 6 water changes per year. We change the filters at about the same rate, but need to add tap water every week (the tanks are great humidifiers, they never get moldy like a real humidifier does!) Anyway, I recommend this product to anyone with a fish tank but no time or desire to do weekly water changes.

this is a great product, now im not going to lie, i usually use river water and run that through my set up untill it looks crystal clear but sinc i didnt have time for the river water or a means of transporting it this is the second best thing to setting up an aquarium.
so I ordered this just to control the amount of air being pumped into my fishbowl (if the pump was going full plast the poor little guy would be sent whriling around the bowl). It works pretty well. The knob sometimes slipps off if you turn it too far and there isnt' anything to anchor the tube to anything outside the bowl. There are several control valves and an equal number of splitters to divide the airflow to extra bowls.I'd reccomend this only if you have two fish bowls or just want to regulate the air flow to one bowl.

When Amazon has them, they also have the best price on them. The fixture that came with my 20 gallon nanotank made the tank too hot. For tropicals, that's not an issue, but for marine tanks, it messes everything up. I have a nice Coralife fixture that sits in the center of the top and this light is perfect. I can use this and another compact fluorescent or I can use one compact fluorescent and a blue light. Amazon ships wicked fast and you will not find a better price. I know I haven't. I now just have tropicals in this tank, so just one of these bulbs gives a good light without making it too bright and causing an algae overgrowth.
WARNING! If you purchase these plants you will want to throw out all your old plastic ones, because they look super lame next to these beauties!

This plant is nice enough, but I didn't think it was all that realistic looking. It tends to have a back and a front to it, so it matters how you put it in the tank. It's taller than the other fake plants, and has plenty of leaves.I like the look of "silk" plants and the leaves and colors on this are no exception; however, I hate how obviously fake it looks because of its plastic stems and "veins". I also have problems getting them to stand up. They just lean over while under water.I really liked the way this plant looked when I got it, it looks great in the water and moves around like a real plant would. This one is my favorite of the 3 vibran plants that I ordered. I am disappointed because it has stained a lot. I've tried cleaning it, to no avail. I've read that you shouldn't use bleach to clean anything that will go back in an aquarium so it seems that there aren't too many other options. Nice looking plant if you can figure out a way to clean it.

After having to move my escape-artist Syrian into a tank (shamefully, but it's the only thing she can't chew through), I discovered she could still escape from this: she'd push everything within the tank to one corner, then climb on top of the mountain, and push up the lid with her front paws. Sick of stacking law books on top and reducing her air flow, I tried these 2 little clips (hesitantly, as some reviews were not stellar)--and they worked! They really save the day. I received this item yesterday and I am so disappointed. It is very nice to look at and I was excited to plug it in to see it in motion. I ordered this item for an elderly often out-of-it aunt in assisted care in lieu of a real aquarium. She is having trouble using it and claims nothing moves when she plugs it in. I am far from her, and the distributor says they just forward the sealed package and don't know how it works. My aunt says there were no instructions, which may or may not be true. Could someone please post how it works so that I can talk her through it on the phone? Is there a switch to make the fish move? DO they move or does the background move? Is leaving it plugged in a problem due to heat build up? Thanks for your help. She was supposed to enjoy this gift, not fear it or get frustrated by it.
This tank was a fun decoration to add to my dorm room. The filter is really quiet and it was very easy to set up and to maintain. My betta seems very happy swimming around and the water does not need to be changed frequently.
I purchased these gloves a little over 3 months ago. I work in an aquatics store, and my skin is very sensitive to being in the water. Before I switched to the gloves, my eczema was extremely severe. With the help of the gloves I was able to clear up my skin, but that meant using them every time I needed to be in the tanks, whether it were bagging fish for a customer or tank maintenance (scrubbing, gravel vacuuming etc). All was going great until two days ago when I felt water leaking into my glove. Today I found why the seam holding the red part and the purple part together had come undone. The glove was rendered completely useless. I'm sure if you were using them less often they would work great but considering what I paid I was very disappointed that they only lasted me a few months. Especially since they are necessary for me to do my job.

Don't waster your money. I wanted a better solution to the delicate glass diffuser for my planted aquarium. This isn't the solution. I found it more delicate than the blown glass. It is made of very thin cheap plastic and is poorly designed. It fell apart even before I was able to get it into my tank and after in my tank kept falling apart. The chamber fell off the pump continuously and then the suction cups quit holding and I found it free floating every day until I took it out and stomped on it. I used it for approximately 45 days so that was about $1 a day. Hope someone comes up with a better design.

BOught it as a replacement for the glass CO2 diffusers, but I'm not very happy. CO2 is 'collected' and then released as large bubbles of CO2. I tried all settings/flow rates, but can't get it right. I ordered thisone for my dad for his 135 gal tank. At first I thought it doesn't work, I couldn't see any bubbles coming out like from the glass difusers, but dad said that's what it's supposed to do. You can actually see it work, I little whirlpool inside it. We planted the tank yesterday and the reactor isn't there for even 24hrs and is just perfect and all plants are producing lots of oxygen. I hope it will stay as good as we think it is.
My 801 Elite air pump is NOT quiet. It is the same style as this 803, but the 801 appears to be unavailable now--I bought mine on Amazon. It is at least as loud as my fridge, which makes it marginally quieter than my Whisper 20, but still way too loud to live in the same house with. I have an ancient Tetra pump that is quiet, but I haven't been able to find any modern pumps nearly so tolerable. I've ordered one of Hagen's new style pumps through Amazon to see if maybe they're reasonably quiet. I'll review that pump after it comes.

It is attractive and I found it cheaper at Pet Smart which is why I gave it a 4 star and not a five star rating.
I am the only one that cleans my fish tank so I needed one that was enough gallons to make my betta, Sushi happy but not too much where I couldn't pick it up safely. It perfectly fits a live plant (bamboo), a rock, his Spongebob house, his heater and a couple moss balls. If you're on the fence with this, buy it. Maracyn 2 is a synthetic form of the tetracycline class of antibiotics and is more broad spectrum than others. This is a very effective antibiotic which can be combined with Maracyn or used by itself. It is one of the best antibiotics that can be purchased for fish disease. It is also very safe so overdosing shouldn't cause any issues. One thing to note is that this product like all tetracycline type antibiotics become dangerous after they have expired. Once the expiration date passes it must be disposed of.

I am extremely impressed with this product. Now, I'm not master fish keeper, but I noticed right away when my little red betta wasn't being himself. He would float at the top of his tank almost looking dead, and he was developing cottony white patches on his little bum and tail fin. I did some research and found he had a fungal infection. This product was recommended at my local fish store, so I gave it a try.

These bioballs, sold by uxcell, emit a noxious odor. It's strong enough to linger for hours even after I repacked the balls into the box it came in. If it leeches these VOCs into the air, then it will leech into the water your fish will swim in.
