I use this plate to hold down some plants and it does its job. I like the ceramic material and black color. But there are four small wires at each corner to hold the grid. These small wires get rusty quite easily. If the manufacturer can solve this problem, it will be an excellent product.
I have a 55 Gallon tank set up, and this works great for getting water into my tank instead of treating water and dumping gallon pitcher by gallon pitcher at a time. The only problem was it was missing the barb adapters. The tube shown on the top of the pump is exactly ½ in. I am still not sure how to use the ¼ in. tubing adapter. If you are looking for a cheap pump that works, this is it.

We have used this product for several years to control algae in a 2500 gallon pond. The Barley Clear does not harm the fish and ducks that use the pond and it is very easy to apply--we just sprinkle it into the water once a week. It has been very effective.
I have had this pump for 20 months now, and it has not lost its power to pump a lot of air.. I have a 75 gal tank and use all four outlets and the air output has not dropped. I do have to change out the stones as they will clog and slow the air down, but can't stop it... great product as most pumps will have broken diaphrams or other parts broken by now and have to be replaced or repaired. this pump is as strong as day one and I have done nothing but plug it in and enjoy the bubbles..

This product was not what I expected. I was disappointed and I didn't like paying $4.00 in shipping for a hand full of tiny little rocks. I will find a use for them rather than send them back and waste more money. I'll probably use them to top off a pot of succulents.

Back in the day they sold this in a small flip-top bottle and it was called Super-Concentrated Tap Water Conditioner. It worked well then and it still works just as well now. I use this confidently in 4 tanks that house adult and baby African Cichlids. I used to use Prime but what for? If you have good husbandry habits, you won't need any chemicals to combat ammonias. Works perfect, comes with adapter to add more length by adding another bubbler to it, puts out a good wall of bubbles in my 10gal tank, using tetra 10g air pump also bought on amazon. Pics uploaded.
I am using these heaters in two 3 gallon tanks. It works great! At first it ran a little high and because it has an adjustable thermostat I was able to set it to heat my fish tanks just where I wanted them to be. It looks nice and the tank inhabitants have become very active. I highly recommend for small tanks. I am ordering two more for my bettas. Current tanks using them are the africian dwarf frog/red cherry shrimp tank and the guppy tank.
A bowl or small aquarium of at least 1 gallon is more appropriate and allows for more activity.
