These people really know their stones! Beautiful black slate pieces in multiple sizes small to big. Will be using these pieces not as a cave but in a natural dish garden design. Plan to use them to design small "retainer walls" around water features. Small terrarium-size plants will be used all around to give the viewer the feeling they are in a forest, looking at a waterfall over rocks. Can't wait to use them in my dish garden to be entered in an upcoming national convention!
First, the item was late, quite late, so I was offered free shipping, which was nice, then when I recieved stones that were NOT consistant with the items pictured in any way, they had been ground down to literaly HOCKEY PUCKS, and some were so thin they were like waffers, none of which could be used in my tank for the structure I was building, when I called in to remedy the situation, the owner was very upset, seemed to want to help, she had the employee responsible call me personally and apologize, he kept telling me "I'm probably going to lose my job over this", not a very comfortable situation for a customer to be in. I was offered a full refund which I accepted, and left neutral feedback at first... but NOW I'm getting phone calls and emails prodding me to change my feedback to positive, after going through the hell of tracking down someone in this company to actually SPEAK to, or even answer an email, NO, I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT!! if you ask me, you are lucky to get good service out of this compay, and change your email after your order, because they will more than likely be hounding you just like they did me for that ever so important feedback, its harrassing, you have been warned.
