Top portion of the bubble counter is not hermetically sealed to the bottom cylinder. Had to use Teflon tape to seal the top brass piece to the plastic cylinder. Then it worked fine. This bubble counter work well. FYI, they bubble counter is made of plastic. I first though it was glass but its plastic. So for those who want glass then this is not for them.Buy MR. Aqua Brass Bubble Counter with Check Valve Now
Replaced a similar style glass bubble counter on my planted aquarium Co2 regulator. This bubble counter is larger, significantly thicker and more solid than expecting. I you need to replace a Co2 regulator bubble counter do not be concerned with the quality of this item.Read Best Reviews of MR. Aqua Brass Bubble Counter with Check Valve Here
I bought this as a replacement for the bubble counter that came with my Milwaukee regulator kit. The inlet side is 1/8" female NTP -it fit the Milwaukee needle valve just fine -and the outlet side is a compression fitting that will fit most standard air/co2 tubing. With softer more pliable tubing I found the barb on the compression fitting to be a bit short so the tube wouldn't stay on unless the compression nut was placed on just right. I was worried whether the tubing would stay put so I tried a more rigid tube and it worked better.I plan on replacing the Milwaukee needle valve with an Ideal valve so I also bought a 1/8" male NTP bushing to connect the two (the Ideal valve has an 1/8" female NTP outlet).
The cylinder is plastic. I'd prefer glass as -at least with my previous counter -plastic tends to etch / darken with CO2 overtime. A glass cylinder I suspect would bump the price up at least a few dollars.

This bubble counter is high quality and still works well after one year. It performs as expected and better than some of the cheaper bubble counters I have owned.
