Was a little smaller than I figured it would be but I put it to work and it does make my tank a little brighter. I am looking to add a few more to my tank in the future. Have only had it less than a week so I cant say how long it is going to last it does look like it is made well. It did not take a long time to come in would recommend to a friend but wiukd say to use on a 10 gallon tank
