Nice quite motor and design keeps it quiet and prevents everything else from vibrating and making noise too. This is far better design than any of the other air pumps that I have used in the past.

Definitely not a "whisper" by any stretch of the imagination, but it does its job. I have it hooked up to a bubbler in my 10 gallon tank. Works consistently; doesn't heat up; haven't had any problems except for the vibrations that make the furniture it rests on vibrate.
