I LOVED my t-rex for the first 3 years I had it. I had even repainted it after the paint had worn down.

Then suddenly my fish started dying. I replaced the few that died but all of those died as well! I thought it was the water quality so I did a 75% water change with distilled water and tried again with 2 more fish. Those died too. I thought that maybe the paint had started to leach some how into the water so I took the T-Rex out to re-seal the paint. I discovered that the pin holding on the head had metal in it and it had been rusting!

I did a 50% water change after taking him out and got a few new fish and everyone is happy and still alive.

Its a great decoration for a year or 2 but it needs to be taken out after a while.

This product is very cool. I was disappointed at first because the bubbles were so powerful, they were moving the dinosaur body. It would flip the head head or the bubbles would come out of the back of his neck. After some adjusting and "locking" it down with some stones and a log, it has been flawless. It is definitely a talking point of everyone who enters the room and the fish loves it. The big bubbles must feel good because the goldfish is constantly in its flow.

We have a 3000 gallon pond with 20 koi and goldfish. The water got so dark we could only see the fish when the sun was shining into the pond. This system cleared it up in 2 days! Now it is always crystal clear.

We had an issue with a crack and a leak, damaged in shipping most likely. They sent us a new one before we even had the first one packed up and ready for the return pick up.

I bought this because of the great buy, and YES it was a great buy. I love this tank! it is the perfect size for a starter tank plus it comes with everything to start out with. I thought the filter would be flimsy but it has been great and really quiet too. I would recommend getting something to hold the heater in place a little better but other than that great buy and good quality.

As a PETCO fish expert I have to stay on top of what is some of the topline products out in the market, and this Aqueon 10 gallon tank is one of them. This basic kit is a great buy for beginner aquarist who are just starting out in the world of aquatics. PLEASE REMEMBER THOUGH THAT YOU CAN ONLY KEEP A TOTAL OF 10 INCHES OF FISH IN THIS AQUARIUM. This size of aquarium is great for college students, kids, begginer aquarist, and just about anyone wanting to have a fish friend. Please keep in mind that since this is a smaller size tank, the levels in the water can go from fish freindly to fish deadly very fast. I suggest you test your water every week to make sure your levels are fish safe. A great advantage to this tank is that it is made of glass, which is scratch proof, very durable, and will last you for years to come. I have personally bought this tank and am using it as a goldfish tank. This tank is not a suitable size for a salwater aquarium, but good for a small goldfish or a couple of tropical fish.

I use this tank myself and highly suggest for other people to buy it if they are a considering getting into the aquatics world.

Blue Ribbon Cambodian Temple Ruins Aquarium Ornament

This is a beautiful ornament for a fish tank! It fits perfectly in my 29 gallon, adding to the "jungle ruins" theme I am going for. It has a nice weight to it and looks to be constructed very well. My only complaint is that a couple of the openings (the entrance and one window) are a little rough and may tear a delicate fish's fins (like my betta). A little sanding solved that problem. I highly recommend!

Coralife SL-38 Super Luft Aquarium Air Pump

I have had this pump for 20 months now, and it has not lost its power to pump a lot of air.. I have a 75 gal tank and use all four outlets and the air output has not dropped. I do have to change out the stones as they will clog and slow the air down, but can't stop it... great product as most pumps will have broken diaphrams or other parts broken by now and have to be replaced or repaired. this pump is as strong as day one and I have done nothing but plug it in and enjoy the bubbles..

only problem is pump will be a little loud but mine is located in a cabinet in the family room so its not a problem for me. But if this is in your bedroom might be a little loud to sleep:)

it does its job, i wish it could work a little better when i spread it out over 8 filters but for the cost im not going to complain. another upside is that unlike other air pumps this doesnt need to have the diaphragm replaced every time it does bad

Zilla Fresh Air Non-Locking Screen Clips, 2-Pack

I bought these for a snake cage and they are extremely difficult to attach to the zilla screen. Stupid to think that Zilla would make clips that fit their screens. Once I finally got them on the screen with pliers and a friend's help, they didn't work. The flimsy metal allows the lid to be pushed up without difficulty from a young corn snake. He is able to push his lid up unless I put books on top, but that looks tacky. So I invested in these clips and I'm still using the books. The clips are a waste of time and money. I'm trying to return them and I guess I'll just continue to have books on my snake cage.

No way these things are going to keep my snake in. They are cheap and flimsy and come unsnapped with very little effort.

Power-Glo Fluorescent Aquarium Bulb

My aquarium came with a flourescent bulb that was a 'soft white/yellow color'. I didn't like it at all. This new bulb has made a world of diference to the aquarium! The water looks clean and blue and the colors of the fish seem so much brighter and reflective under the new bulb. I definitely recommend this bulb.

I was in love with this light the moment I turned it on. It seems like its not as bright as a daylight bulb but because of the nature of the light the fish and tank in general actually seemed better illuminated. My yellow Labidochromis still look nice but not glaring like they did with the daylight bulb. The blues of the Yellow-tailed Acei are especially enhanced and the Zebra Obliquidens are stunning.

Definitely measures up to the hype. An excellent bulb for African cichlids.

I have a planted(about 10 various plants) 36 g tank.

I had a stock bulb and my plants were brown and dying, got this bulb and at first I hated it.

The light color was purple, didn't like it at all. But after a few days, the purple tint went away(maybe eyes got used to it, or it's like that with all these bulbs at first).

It is now a few weeks after getting the bulb and my tank looks great. the water looks very clear, plants have regrown and look a ton better(still a tad dead spots)

Overall a very good bulb.

After two trips to the local pet store (I try to support small business whenever possible!) I ended up ordering this and it's EXACTLY what I wanted. The color gives more of a blue appearance (not too bright), and not that ugly yellow-ish hue that makes your water look dingy. I told the pet store that this is the color I wanted and they talked me into something different TWICE. They even gave me a lot of grief when I returned the first light they recommended and now I am nervous about returning the second light which looks like a blacklight.. No wonder online shopping is so popular?!
