so i was looking for something waterproof to protect my floor...thought this would be sufficient but besides the size which i knew going into this purchase what i dont like is the thickness of the material. It is waterproof but if any water gets on the edge its a wrap. I bought a huge rubber mat (used to go under exercise bikes) and that much nice. very cute little decoration for the tank. The only complaint I have is that there isn't anything on the site that told me what size the item is. I am afraid this may be a bit large for my little fish tank. The item has a nice little weight on it that will keep it on the bottom of the tank. As my tank hasn't arrived yet I can't really say how well it stays at the bottom of the tank.
This looked like it would have been a pretty decent home for my betta, however it was not packaged very well and thus arrived with two very large cracks on both of the acrylic panels. This vacuum really works well. It does not suck all the rocks out which used to drive me nuts with my old vacuum. The only "con" if you will is that it is very large so it can be hard to manipulate around the plants and drift wood in tight spaces. And beware: vacuum FAST because it will suck your tank down quick!

I took off the green plants from the volcano because I wanted to add my own more colorful plants, you can easily re attach them, and it is not noticable that they were removed. As indicated in my title, I have the color changing LED unit and it looks so amazingly cool with this volcano! I will try and get a picture or 2 up of my tank.
