Hard to believe you could get excited about an algae scraper! After using cheap things like sponges, kitchen brushes, etc. I decided to get one. It works great, you don't have to get your arms wet reaching to the back lower corners of the aquarium, and the attachments can be easily interchanged. The swivel head on the sponge attachment is very nice. Only one improvement would be adding a razor edge to the brush head. Just make sure you measure your tank to buy the correct size.

I was very dissappointed with this product. I have a 150gal tank which had some very heavy algae build up along the inside glass walls so purchased this item with the intent of using the razor blade attachment to scrape off the majority of the debris but discovered due to the flimsy plastic handle did not have the ability to do the job nor the scrub pad which was way too soft to work either. Got creative and found a 2ft 1/2" conduit pipe left over from an old electrical job a slide it down over the plastic handle. The pipe actually fit perfectly over the flimsy plastic handle and now I had the ridgid strength to scrape the glass walls better. This is the first product I purchased from Amazon that did not work as advertised.
