Jardin Plastic Aquarium Tank Flower Beautify Fish Plant Décor, Green

Jardin Plastic Aquarium Tank Flower Beautify Fish Plant Décor, GreenI don't think you can find the quality and extremely low price for these artificial plants. Perfect to have in small bunches in the tank. Also, works great for a place that the smaller guppies can stay so that they will have a chance to grow up, and not be mistaken for food by the adult guppies. Definitely recommend.

Como 5 x Aquarium Air Pump Tube Suction Cup Airline Clips Holders

Como 5 x Aquarium Air Pump Tube Suction Cup Airline Clips HoldersThese suction cups do not last at all. Within a few days I need to replace them, luckily I ordered extras

Great way to manage airline tubing and power cords coming out of an aquarium. The suction cups aren't super strong and sometimes come loose, but generally get the job done.

Given the price, I could complain much about the quality. The plastic got stiff and lose the traction in the fish tank. They became opaque white.

Hagen Fluval Nano Tank Stand in Natural Oak, 35-Inch

Hagen Fluval Nano Tank Stand in Natural Oak, 35-InchThe seller/shipper was fine, the product arrived promptly. However, the product itself is shoddy and came with considerable damage to the extremely cheap laminate. The color of the laminate was lifeless and ugly. The fish tank looked terrible on it. The whole thing was a complete waste of money. It's just another piece of junk to get rid of. I wish I had not purchased it.

this hagen fluvial nano tank stand in oak is made of particle board. I used carpenters glue to put this aquarium stand together. It is rated for the horizontal and vertical 6.6 gallon tanks only. I originally bought it for their 12 gallon tank. Which I will not buy now. There were 2 missing wooden pegs and 1 missing beige plastic screw cover. I called their help number but she said they don't have missing parts. So I went to a hardware store for them. It does look good though.

Action Air® Treasure Chest Live-Action Aerating Aquarium Ornaments

Action Air® Treasure Chest & Diver Live-Action Aerating Aquarium Ornament - Color May VeryThis is really cute and works great but the chest is a lil light you need to make sure the rocks help hold it down!

This little chest works great, however make sure you get or have an air flow valve to cut down the airflow to this. I have a separate bubbler and this chest. The air opening in the chest is large so all of the air comes out of it and keeps the lid open, and no air flowed to my bubbler until I put a small valve to turn the flow down. Now it works like a charm.

I love the idea of the diver going up and down as the treasure chest opens and closes. Unfortunately, the chains attaching the diver to the chest are cheaply made, so the diver came off and I had to sort of rig him so he stays attached to the chest. Due to the rigging, he doesn't go up and down when the chest opens and closes.

I like this decorator but the air hole clogs and has to be soaked in vinegar to unclog so air can come out.

I love this fish tank ornament! Great colors and well made. The lid stays open all the time, but it still looks great. The bubbles are a nice feature. Divers hangs perfectly. It's light, so I silicon glued a rock to the bottom of the chest to make sure it stays down. The glue is safe for fish. The rock is covered by gravel, so it's not visible. I bought a second one, since divers should be in pairs. :o)

EHEIM Everyday Fish Feeder Programmable Automatic Food Dispenser

EHEIM Everyday Fish Feeder Programmable Automatic Food DispenserI had tried some of the other auto feeders on the market that rotate constantly on a single AA battery clock mechanism. None of them worked for me.

I purchased this after a friend of mine had the same one on his tank for over 1.5 years. It has also worked beautifully for me too. The digital display is easy to set if you follow the instruction sheet.

I also like the fact that it has a manual feed button, so I can provide a feeding whenever I want to without disrupting the preset times.

I spent a lot of money on the cheaper units and after getting frustrated every time, I finally bought this one and couldn't be happier.

I own 3 Eheim Everyday Fish Feeders. They are also called air feeders due to a fan used to feed air into the food containter when it activates, to help keep the food fresh. I run a home aquaponics system and so have various tanks to raise fingerlings before they go into my aquaponics tanks. This feeder is the only unit I use for these indoor tanks, though I use a professional US made super-feed feeder in my outdoor grow tank.

I highly recommend the Eheim brand and this particular feeder. I will comment on why I recommend this and then some special handling items.

First, as I mentioned I have three of these units. Two are run 24/7. These units are reliable, last between 1-2 weeks for feeding capacity (different sized fish supplied by each one), and built very well. The built well comes from the fact that one unit has fallen into the tank twice. Immediate recovery, turn off, then air drying of the internals was sufficient for the unit to operate as good as new. I have used these units for 8 months now without problem. They do come with a sticky backed velcro mount so that they are not prone to fall into the tank. I use those on the one that likes the water.

I have had problems with only one unit after about 20 days of first operation where it lost its programming, and upon replacing the batteries it operated for a few days and completely died. This occurred with use out of box, it was not dropped into the water :-) and it was used as recommended. I emailed Eheim, and was advised to return it to their factory or an authorized service center. I returned it to Eheim's Montreal office with a copy of the email and they sent a fixed unit back about 4 weeks later. So, this is why I also recommend the brand. Nothing is perfect, and when I got one lemon out of three -they fixed it.

On using these units:

* you must calibrate the feeder so that on an average run it feeds the amount you want -that is, weigh or measure the amount fed after 10 consecutive runs and then determine what the average is for each feed -it is a simple mechanical feed mechanism -this is why it is reliable -so it is not exact. Your fish are not exact either, they can eat a bit less sometimes.

* once you know how much to open the feeder, mark it with a permanent marker -you need to close it to refill, so this way you will know where to open it back to

* you can run the feeder up to 4 different times a day, and each time can have an optional second feed a minute after the first

* I grow tilapia, so I feed my fish only what they will completely eat in 2 minutes

* the unit is heavy on the side towards the water when it is full -when doing tank maintenance, remove it so it out of the way (obvious, but I did drop one unit twice)

* if your unit goes for a swim: take it out immediately, remove and discard the batteries, keep the battery door off and gently blow dry the unit. Dispose of wet food and clean out the food compartment. Once you are certain everything is DRY, then put fresh batteries in and reprogram the unit.

* when using the unit for the first time, allow a week (before you go on vacation) to ensure it is operating fine and feeding the way and amount you want -don't just set it up the night before you leave -this way you will see how long your feed lasts also

* the feeder does dispense less when it nears empty -but again, fish adapt

* I only use the unit with pellet food one feeder has a mix of 1/8" and 3/16" pellets, the second feeder has fingerling powder

Good luck!

I use all eheim brand equipments for my fish tank because they are the best. So it was a no brainer to get an eheim feeder. However this thing is a complete disaster for small food/pellets used to feed little fish such as neon tetra etc.. The feeding sliding door is VERY cheap and badly design, it's loose and doesnt allow fine control. So you either dumps no food because the opening is too small or dump a tons of food messing up the water params.

Even worse when I went on vacation i set the feeding door to a small size just to be safe since too much food will cause a mini cycle + ammonia spike, which is far worse than feeding lesser amount to the fish for a few days. But when i came back my tank is completely full of food, the cheap sliding door of this feeder gradually opened up on its own while in operation. Luckily I have a very heavily planted tank with a lot of fast grower stem plants that are able to absorb the excess nutrients, so a complete disaster was avoided.

The sad part is the feed itself looks to be reliable and solid, just eheim decided to skimp on the most important part of the feed the sliding door that controls the feeding amount.

Works as advertised except there's a major problem......I use pelletized food and feed 12 pellets three times daily, the design of this feeder does not drop the same amount of food each time it cycles. Once adjusted, it can drop anywhere from 4-15 pellets per feeding. You have an opening, which you adjust to allow a certain amount of food to be dispensed each cycle, but pellets can jam in the opening. If i open it further, way too many pellets come out. The only solution I came up with was to run it for three days into a pie plate until I averaged the proper number of pellets on a daily basis. I would really not recommend it for pelletized food.

This is the best automatic aquarium feeder. Over the years I have owned many for multiple aquariums. I have used the feeder with flakes, pellets and both depending on my needs. I have never had any problems with clogging or food sticking.

Nature's Pure Series Seamless Glass Aquarium Sphere 10x8 in - 1.5 Gallons

Nature's Pure Series Seamless Glass Aquarium Sphere 10x8 in - 1.5 GallonsWe bought three of these for our beta fishies. The glass is beautiful and the quality is good. We decorated each differently with colorful gravel and plastic plants. They are gorgeous! The size is great for one fish and they are easy to wash. We've had them for a while and so far, no breakage. The bowls are very noticeable and we got many compliments. They do get heavy when we need to change the water, but we don't need to clean them too often because they are big (takes time for the water to get dirty). Fish and humans are very happy!!

Not much more to say. The glass was definitely a bit of a splurge compared to acrylic, but looks so much nicer, stays cleaner over time. Shipped securely. Smooth edges and no visible flaws in glass. Feels sturdy thickness.

Great buy, wonderful size. I'm going to be using this for my chinchilla's dust bath for when I get him. Exactly what I was looking for. I'd recommend this even as a regular fish bowl.

EHEIM Aquastyle Nano Aquarium

EHEIM Aquastyle 6-Gallon Nano AquariumBought this locally but love it so much I had to write a review. I have the 4 gallon version using soil covered with gravel as the substrate. The filter works great the filter media is a foam pad with Eheim biomedia. The only issue when cleaning the filter is some of the debris will fall off the foam pad when lifting it from the tank. Would have been better with a smaller pore foam pad. This means I have to do the water change after cleaning the filter. The LED light is fantastic I have glosso that is runnering and growing prostrate (instead of upright) which makes it a more attractive foreground plant. I can also get marsilea to grow under this light intensity supplemented with Excel. The dwarf hair grass also seems to be doing well. All this points to good light intensity for small scale plants commonly used for a small planted tank. Be aware the light bulbs are not replaceable I've seen the replacement light fixture cost about $99. This is not a cheap tank but probably the nicest one I've seen (I have three planted tank set ups). If you are in to planted tanks, this LED light is worth the money and blows away compact fluorescent lights. The shimmering effect of the LED light is also nice I thought it would be overrated, but I have come to enjoy the movement of the light on the tank. I wish all my tanks had that extra pizazz. I have heard others say that for the 9 gallon tank, you will need to buy an extra light fixture ($99) if you really want to grow med/high light plants. Just a fyi.

The tank comes with a filter, light, lid, and some adhesive foot pegs for the bottom.

The filter (which is the same for all tank sizes) works rather efficiently in the 9 gallon tank and is very quiet. It fits conveniently and snug into the back inside corner of the tank which allows for the tank to be placed closer to the wall or in tight spaces if needed. The filter is easy to open or remove for simplified changing of filter media. Although the filter media doesn't need changing very often, its a plus for it to be quick and easy.

The light is bright and reaches all parts of the 9 gallon tank. Plants in need of moderate light can definitely grow in this tank without modification. I have not tried growing plants that need lighting that is more than moderate, so I cannot speak on that behalf. The light can be adjusted back and forth between the metal prongs and is held very securely in place. I imagine that an additional light can be purchased and snapped in place as there is room for more than one light.

The tank is unlike any other because the front corners are completely seamless with rounded edges so that one pane of glass is folded to form the front and sides for optimal viewing. Other frame-less tanks bring together two panes with sealant or bonding liquid which creates less desirable viewing angles. Moreover, this tank comes in a 9 gallon size which gives the marine-life enthusiast more freedom to add to their nano system without taking up the space or surface area that larger tanks require.

The lid that comes with the tank could be improved. It fits nicely and precisely onto the top without distracting the view. However, it does not allow space for additional cords that may be necessary. My heater cord, for example, does not fit with the glass top. For this reason, I leave the glass top off. However, it is true that having a glass top helps reduce temperature fluctuation caused by changes in the outside environment and slows evaporation because it catches the condensation and drips back into the tank.

I got this aquarium a while ago for freshwater planted aquarium. I truly enjoy every aspect of it. It looks classy, great quality build, extremely quiet filter and the light is intense enough for freshwater planted aquarium. If you want to go reef you can always upgrade the lighting by adding another LED Pod directly to the existing lighting system. The extra LED Pod can be purchased directly from Eheim. The led light can be purchased with Full spectrum or Full Actinic or 2/3 actinic and 1/3 full spectrum.

I recommend this aquarium if you are looking to set up a nano planted aquarium or a reef.

5 Star for design.

5 Star for quiet filter.

5 Star for quality build.

5 Star for customer satisfaction.

5 Star when compared to other brands like JBJ, EcoPico, etc (I used them both).

I was looking for a great way to start a nano tank. I came across this little gem online and knew I had to have it. My plan was to set it up as a reef but I don't feel that there is enough lighting to do so. I love the overall look and design of the tank. That LED light provides more that enough light for plants I'm just afraid to attempt any coral. 5stars for everything you could ask for in a tank just had to give it 4stars because of the LED. My fault not Eheim.

Really like this aquarium. Been keeping aquariums on and off since I was a kid. I bought the 9 gallon version for a plant tank on my desk. Works out great. The light it came with is pretty bright, but I don't have anything to measure it with so can't quantify it. Anywho, decided I wanted a little more light so I bought the 4 gallon version and thought I'd use the light from that one on the 9 gallon in addition to the one that's already on there. Since the power is conducted along the bars that the light is attached to you can just attach another one to it. Interesting thing was that when I did the color temperature of the light from the 4 gallon tank was a different color temp. The 9 gallon came with what seems to be around 6500-7000K light. The smaller tank came with what looks like a 5000K light. So, I just noticed after looking at the boxes that the 9 gallon says on it For Freshwater or Marine, while the 4 gallon says For Freshwater.

Just thought it was interesting. I'd actually like to buy another of the 6500K lights, but can't seem to find it.
