Marina Decor
I was so excited when I first received this. It looks great in my Fluval Ebi tank. The shrimp love to climb on it and the Beta even likes to rest on the top in the cubby-like hole.The color is nice and natural and makes for a very attractive structure in a planted tanks. It acually looks even better when a bit of algae starts to grow on it. But that's where the trouble started.
I have a couple Nirate snails that love to eat algae. With in a couple days they ate was on the 'Mangrove Root' and the paint that was under the algae came up with it. So now there are sections that are white/gray instead of brown/red.
Luckly I don't think it hurt the snails (they are still alive) but I will be removing this from the tank and using a real piece of driftwood or a nano tree so I don't have to worry about the problem again. It's really too bad because it does look nice. :( oh well, live and learn.

I'm changing my rating to 1 star.
So I took this thing out of my tank and really just about fell on the floor. IT SMELLED SO BAD! because it is hollow, fungus was able to grow inside of it. Seriously... it was so terrible that we had to promptly put it in a garbage bag and store it outside.
Total waste of money. :(
Update: I took the chance and bought the large size. I'm positive that it is the one used in the picture but without the plants. It is a little bigger than I wanted but it will work. I did not buy the medium because it didn't measure that much bigger than the small size. If you have a tank that is 20 gal or more you might want to go with the large size if you want your larger fish to be able to use the openings. I have mostly tetras and barbs which are not "big" fish but they don't like to swim through tight areas.
The measurements would be less confusing if they read like the following
Small 4.8 x 7.8 x 4
Medium 6.8 x 12.7 x 5.1
Large 8.4 x 14.6 x 5.5
The first number is the height of the rock on the tallest side
The second number is the length of the decoration
The third number is the height of the rock on the smallest side
The smallest rock and the arch are just about the same size in height.
After a week in the tank, the fish love it. I never had a problem
with the fish decoration, it was the information provided about the product.If you have a fish with sensitive fins like a betta, you can forget this. The overall texture is extremely rough and sharp.. rough and sharp enough to actaully cut my skin none the less snag some nylons. Also it has 3 places on the ornament where it's obviously they've stuck 2 pieces together.. very crudely with gaps and no texture mesh up. The bottom is hollow.. not sure about that. Too bad. Looks good online. Poorly made and ROUGH.

I'm glad to find this on Amazon so I can share how much my fish enjoy this ornament. They either roost on the very top, or sleep in one of the holes. One of them spends about 10 minutes in each hole before swimming up to perch on his Betta Hammock for a while. I will always use this ornament in my tanks. It doesn't look especially nice in this photo but it's pretty neat. AquaClear Extension Tube for Power Filters
Since it was unclear how deep the filter would reach with the included tube(s), I ordered this. This is exactly the same as the tubes included with the filter. It turns out there are two included with the AquaClear 70. Two tubes reaches an appropriate depth in my 20" deep tank. Adding a third tube would actually have hit, or wanted to go through, the floor of the tank. So, I'll keep this as a spare.

This is a no brainer. This absolutely does not impede the water flow. and if that is a concern of yours, just cut the tip off of the middle or first attachment. I have a 50 gallon power filter and the attachments that came with the unit only went down halfway in my 30 gallon fish tank. I bought this top for my 5g nano. It seems great, but i chipped the glass putting the plastic back piece on. This wasn't a big deal to me as the plastic hinge covered the part of glass that I had chipped though this does make me nervous about the ease of breaking it. I am very careful every time I open it/shut it/do anything around it and it has been fine so far.It also doesn't fit my aquarium correctly. It is too short to sit on top, and too large to securely rest on the inside of the top braces (about 1/16 of an inch too wide). Disappointing.
If you like the nice sleek clean look of the glass canopy, use a spare suction cup from a heater or something to open it rather than attaching the included handle. IMO It looks much better without the handle attached.
I rate this a 3 overall because I am disappointed with the quality. If the lid had fit my tank I would have been close to a 5.

The ‘handle' was missing from my aquarium top, but as far as I am concerned it is a minor flaw and the lid is working well without it. There are no sharp edges, and the hinge feature is strong and well made. This glass lid rests perfectly on the inside lip of my 5-1/2 gallon aquarium. Instead of cutting the plastic insert to fit my filter, heater, etc., I have simply left it off altogether. That allows a small gap at the front as well as a larger gap at the back which is actually nice because it inhibits steamy glass, and makes raising and lowering the lid without a handle easy. I hadn't thought about it keeping the water warmer overnight when the house cools down, but that the heater doesn't have to work so hard to keep the water temperature steady has been an added bonus. I bought this lid intending to put it on the aquarium only when I am travelling so that the automatic feeder can rest on it. In fact it works perfectly for this purpose. When I fold the back of the lid over the front, the feeder can sit in just the right position to drop food into the feeding ring. Lee's Protein Skimmer Counter Current, Medium
Do not let the bad reviews fool you. Protein skimmers are not electronics gadgets or any advance technology, so why are the average skimmers on the market running for about 80-100 dollars? I read a few reviews about Lee's protein skimmer and the results were mixed. I nervously decided to give it a shot and when I received the product from "petsolutions" I realized the poor quality of the product. The piping and tubing does not fit tightly so it takes a while to get it right. I ran one aerator and split it into two lines but realized after a day that the skimmer did not produce anything. Then I experimented around and surprisingly I began to have bacterial/junk products in the collection cup.HERE IS the SECRET-
your going to need to buy two aerators-
1) for the current going down
1) for the Lee's wooden bubbler
Then your going to need to turn on the down current line first and let that run for about a minute to create a down current.
Then you turn on the wooden bubbler line and create an upward current.
This will basically cause the downward current to meet with the upward "air pockets/bubbles" to meet and any molecules will be trapped within the aure bubbles and rise to the top of the canister and into the collection cup.
It will definetly take a few tries but BOTTOM LINE THE PRODUCT DOES SKIM!!
I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 clowns, 1 spiny box, 3 anemones and the only running on a hang on filter with the skimmer and my water quality is crystal clear.
I took a stupid risk with the skimmer and I actually got it to work and I hope the best of luck for others.

Very easy to set up, started working for me almost immediately, need to order a separate air pump, I only use one pump (Tetra whisper for 40 gal) for my Lees skimmer and it works great. Simple technology with almost no moving parts to worry about breaking. Would definitely recommend for a starter skimmer. Pieces are loosely assembled and took some effort to get the skimmer properly placed in tank since pieces did not fit tightly.However, once in place in the tank and after some tinkering to get the bubble flow set properly the skimmer does a great job extracting waste from my salt tank. Over the past 40 years of keeping fish I've learned that for myself one of the greatest joys is of aquascaping. For years I had fish tanks that looked like well, fish tanks. Those dreadful backgrounds of other fish tanks, artificial plants and so on.But like any hobby as long as your interest is there things tend to grow and change for the better. That said I've found one of the most inexpensive and creative way to make subtle to dramatic changes to most any tank is by using up lighting as the old saying goes "lighting is everything"
When Marineland came out with their LED wands I had them in many tanks in different numbers and colors, mostly the Lunar blue and white. The wands were just ok as they have a tendency to release and float to the top and the LED bulbs are quite dim.Enter the Via aqua wands much better. They're weighted and have stronger suction cups so they stay put, the LED bulbs are brighter but the air tube is rather weak and thin and like the Marineland they clog easy.
When I came across these bendable Led air wands by Aqueon I could just imagine the possibilities, circles, half circles, quarter moon. Building multi layered air columns and so on. My hunch was right and these wands are sensational.
The build quality is the best yet so far the main tube is stronger so you can feel free to bend these into virtually any shape you like. The outflow is generous and creates a wall of bubbles in an even beautiful flow. The main housing is a pliable rubber and each LED is incredibly bright, It's easy to adjust this by adding a lamp dimmer if you want a nice range of adjustment to the brightness. I would say this applies really only to the white as the Lunar blue has a much more softer hue and is closer to a true Lunar blue as you would find with over head LED lighting systems that offer this feature.
Bending these around your tank decor adds tons of visual appeal as well as great extra oxygen via the increased aeration one of the best things you can do for your fish.
I'm running a bunch of these in different sized tanks from 55's to 125 and up and find them to be a wonderful addition to every single one of them. I think any hobbyist will love these.

Our tank looks beautiful. It is a planted tank with white rocks, blue and green glass discs, red rock hiding places. We just wanted more of backdrop. This bubble wand really did the trick. Blue lights with bubbles create a backdrop and set off the fish and plants more than ever! My only complaint is that at the furthest end if you turn the amount of air down, some of the holes don't let bubbles through. Obviously, you can find cheaper bubble wands out there that probably aerate you water just as well. but this one is unique in that it is bendable and comes with LED's to light the bubbles. I use it in my 10 gallon tank, and my only problem with it is that if you turn the air down power, the bubbles don't disperse evenly across the wand. If I keep the air at full blast, the bubbles look great and disperse perfectly, but it's a bit too powerful for my fish. The LED's are pretty nice, but I only turn them on once in a blue moon really.
