Aquarium Fish Tank Silicone Sea Anemone Ornament SH189 Pu
Aqua-Glo Fluorescent Bulb, 14 Watt, 15 Inches
It was the exact same brand that had burned out (after 7 years and a move to a different state) so it's not like i did a ton of research and decided this was the best.
I did notice, it was the cheapest for it's size and wattage on amazon, and it works so there ya go, buy it alreadyWorking as expected. I am glad I was able to find this bulb online as my local pet stores stopped carrying them.

Sort of works. The bubbles tend to come our in strange places but buried under the gravel it works okay.I've had it for some months now. The tubing has an awful tendency to pop off when adjusting it, and the bubbles don't come out very evenly. I am feeding it from both ends with an adjustable pump of ample capacity and there is no getting this to work the way I had hoped.

The product works good... After the initial set up. I wish this product came with directions. I wasn't aware that the stone should be soaked in water for 15 minutes before you set it up. I also wish this product was bubbled wrap for shipping. The corner of my stone gives out huge bubbles because it was a little damaged during shipping.Want Green Mineral Airstone Bar Shape Air Stone for Aquarium Discount?
what more to say. i works, but doesn't last forever. it's much longer than i anticipated would be great for aquariumSeaClear 50 Gallon System II Aquariums 36 in. L x 15 in. W x 20 in. H Black
The box contains: aquarium, hood (without bulb), and all filter media pre-filter and biological. The media is already in the appropriate chamber! It has the latest (high quality bio-balls) media. I inserted a package of Aqua Clear carbon in the chemical cup at the back AquaClear 50 Activated Carbon, 2-2/5 Ounce. The aquarium pump also oxygenates the water if you want to put more oxygen in your water you may use an additional air pump according to the instruction booklet. I chose not to the aquarium pump is doing a wonderful job. There is space at the back of the tank for a protein-skimmer and heater (for those who want a salt-water set-up).
The Sea Clear manufacturer suggests a 10-20% water change every one to three weeks that is all that is needed for maintanance of the aquarium. It's about that time so I'm going to do a 20% water change even though the water LOOKS crystal clear I'm supposed to.
I also purchased a Python(25 foot)water changing kit 25 Foot Python No Spill Clean and Fill Aquarium Maintenance System, which I used to fill the aquarium, and an acrylic cleaning mitt Python Algae Mitt Cloth for Aquarium. Acrylic aquariums supposedly scratch easily so I didn't want to take any chances. I have a submersible heater (Aqueon) AQUEON SUBMERSIBLE HEATER Size: 200 WATT which keeps my turtle's water at 78-80 degrees. NOTE: Python's website has a video showing how to do water changes / gravel cleaning for your aquarium!
Red-eared sliders are messy animals but my tank (water) is always crystal clear it looks beautiful. I was able to get a Penn-Plax Turtle Topper Penn Plax Turtle Topper Above Tank Basking Platform REP600 on top too for additional heat, basking and UVA/UVB light! My turtle appears very happy! Only disappointment is an actual bulb doesn't come with this aquarium for the hood. So, if you have fish you would need to read the manufacturer's booklet / suggestion for which hood light to buy.
Everything was easy and I would recommend Sea Clear System II. I haven't been able to find a lower price for the Sea Clear System II than Amazon ($485.50) although another website had free shipping on the Sea Clear System II itself, I purchased the equipment from Amazon.
Turtle appears to be happy with a good appetite and lots of energy!
Jardin Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Grass Plants Ornament Décor, 2-Piece, Purple
This one was such a surprise for it was unlike any other plastic plant decor for fish tanks I've seen, felt and realized that fish tank plants vary in quality. It not only has a vivid color that stands out in the tank, but it's leaves/petals had an exquisite feel maleable, soft, pliable...it felt like heaven. If you want quality in your aqauriums, Jardin's products will not disappoint. I have a couple other reviews for plants I got from them, and another manufacturer that is close to Jardin's in quality, so look up any reviews I have posted regarding fish tank plant and misc. decor.

I purchased these plants to add color to my fresh water aquarium along with a little bit of height. My initial reaction when opening was that the color was great as described by other reviewers. However I was surprised at how flimsy they were I was expecting the stem of the plant to be more taught/stiff to keep the plant standing upright. They were essentially rolled up in a ball in the packaging. While a bit apprehensive I put them into the aquarium and they stood rather straight once in the water. I suppose I would describe it as the plants have some natural looking sway or hang to them. I ordered two packages of two (4 total) and placed them near a rock creating some great cover for my fish. They love to swim through the opening in the rock and hide out in the cave like cover I have created by spacing out the plants and allowing them to hang in toward the center.Love these. They look great in our 20 gallon, adds a lot of color. They're pretty tall but they worked out well. Better than expected. :)Want Jardin Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Grass Plants Ornament Décor, 2-Piece, Purple Discount?
I bought some of these and was amazed at how long they are. I had to cut some of it to make it look decent in my turtle tank. The colors are also amazing. It makes my tank look so natural and it adds beauty to it at the same time. What i liked the most was that it did not float everywhere. You just throw it in and it will sink to tje bottom. No rocks or gravel needed. But if you have turtles...you might need some rocks XD MY turtles seem to love this plant. My smallest turtle, Toity, loves to hang on to it and swim around it like every 3 seconds. Really love this product and will be buying more plants in the future :}PondCare 140D Stress Coat, 64-Ounce

Exotic Environments Gargoyle Hearth Aquarium Ornament
Everything else was ready to have the tank all done, didn't want to wait. I called Customer Service and they gave me a credit for next time. I'm ok with that. It is pretty and looks big without taking out too much swimming space. I like it.This well designed and well-crafted piece is lightweight and a great addition to a large aquarium. The fish really enjoy it too! There is plenty of room to swim through the tunnel and I was delighted to see one of my fish plant a kiss on the cheek of the central figure.

I have this in with a halfmoon betta and six corys in a 20 gallon tank. They like swimming through it and going up the sides. It is made well and the gold paint in the picture is indeed gold in person. It may be slightly darker in person, but not a lot. Takes up a good amount of space there is still plenty of room for some more items in my tank, but it isn't too small for it either. It would fit well in a 10 or 5 gallon tank as well, though with the 5 it would probably have to be your main piece. Looks nice with plants and dark substrate.

The kit comes with a 90-day limited warranty and a notice that you cannot return the product to the store. To make any returns or exchanges, they want you to work directly with the manufacturer. I don't know how easy or hard this would be since I didn't need to return or exchange.
Cons:
1. I don't like that the filter plate is so light that it practically floats. It made setting up the tank pretty difficult because the jewel decorations kept getting under the plate making the riser tube too tall and lop sided. To get past this, I weighted down the filter plate with binder clips which worked perfectly. I suggest sticking to sand or regular rocks and not jewels for anyone else.
2. I can't really seem to find a clear answer on this, but the lightbulb that comes with the kit makes the water pretty warm. After a few days, this brown stuff (Diatoms?)started growing all over the tank and even on the fish! I turned the light off and the brown stuff is now practically gone just after a few days. Upon further research online, I found that you're supposed to turn the light off for a few hours each day. This might be a good tip to add to the directions for the kit.
Overall, I think this product is ok for a child or a first timer like myself. The price is right and I don't feel ripped off, but I'm definitely looking forward to graduating to something more complete.Received this as a gift, and bought a 3 month old "Betta Baby" from Petco for it. So far, Darbie absolutely loves his tank, swimming all over and loves to hide in the little hollow barnacle ornament I got for him. The tank's footprint is small (about the size of a sheet of printer paper cut diagonally) so you can't really put much in it. Here's a little information on all the parts included:
Tank: Mine actually feels fairly sturdy, and so far I haven't had any issues with the plastic fogging up like I have with other acrylic tanks. Also, it's not blue like the picture unless you put a blue background or blue gravel in it. You're only going to want 1 lb of gravel; I've got two in there and it's a little too much.
Hood and light: The plastic plate to keep fish from zapping themselves on the light is sturdy and fit snugly inside the hood housing; you've really got to press it in there. You'll know it's seated right when there's about 1/4" between the edge of the hood and where the plate sits. The light does produce a lot of heat and replacing it with an LED bulb works very well for limiting how hot the tank gets. Personally, I use a 7.5W Hydor heater under the gravel, which keeps the tank at a balmy 80 degrees without any help.
Plant: not included in the package, and not even listed on the box; Amazon's product description is in error there.
Air pump, tube, and air stone: The air pump is, strangely enough, one of the quietest I've ever found. And you can't buy this anywhere else. It's good that they provide a replacement part order sheet inside the box the tank comes in; you can order all the individual parts separately for fairly cheap. I don't know why some of the reviewers expressed trouble finding replacement parts when the manufacturer provided a reorder sheet; most manufacturers don't do that. The air stone is good quality and diffuses water quite well, and the air hose is flexible and supple. One of the best quality aeration kits I've received in a tank kit yet.
Filter: Useless. This is the only part of the set up that I am very disappointed in. It works based off of a very basic vacuum principle: you stuff the air stone down the tube, hope it stays, and plug it in. Because the stone fills with air, it floats to the top, which basically left me needing to wrap a rubber band around it to secure it in the tube. Nixed that idea fairly soon because the band started getting fuzzy and leaching things into the water. Ideally, the air stone would stay in the bottom, pumping air up, and the water would be carried up with the air, creating a current that pulls water through the filter plate. If this worked, it would work quite well with the addition of one more thing: filter cartridges. There's no floss, no screen, no foam, no sponge, and no carbon anywhere in this setup. The experienced DIYer could probably make filter cartridges, but I didn't bother because there's just not that much room to work with. And the filter plate does float uncontrollably. Very poorly designed, but I solved that problem by just plain not using it.
Again, 2 lb of gravel like I have will give you 2" of gravel in the bottom. I'd use between 1 lb and 1.5 lb, closer to 1 in order to get the standard inch that most pet stores and hobbyists will recommend. Regardless, Darbie absolutely loves this little tank and it'll be a great first home for him until he's big enough to need a larger one. It's perfect for little bettas, like growing fry or bettas that just never grew very big, and small enough that a child can fit it almost anywhere in his or her room. I'd say it's also durable enough to withstand standard use, though of course the kid that bangs things and pounds fish tanks to get the fish to move will probably crack it in a day.

I bought two of these aquariums today to keep in each of my kids' rooms. They have both been asking for their own pet, so thought I'd start simple and let them keep a betta fish in their rooms. The aquarium looks fine, gives large viewing area to see the fish. I do like that it came with a small lamp and pump, something not always included with aquariums this small. The tank is made of pretty brittle and flimsy plastic. Nothing has gone wrong, but I don't expect it to last long. The lid is ill-fitting, so must be very careful replacing it. I am surprised at the price on Amazon and online pet retailers, I paid half as much at the local big-box for identical product.Overall, it will do fine for the kids' first pets, may even last a few years.

Buy it!!! When I ordered mine off Amazon I thought it was going to be a lot smaller and less quality. It actually looks really nice when you set it up and have everything going. I would recommend any one to buy this item. My fish loves the tank. It's worth the money.Want Aquarius1 1 Gallon Tank Aquarium System AQ11104BLK Discount?
Installation was pretty simple. Two tips.1. Airstone bubbler goes under the under gravel filter and into the tube. Just far enough so it stays in there. The air tube will tilt the filter because of the angle but the gravel will hold it down in place. I would recommend 2 lbs. Put just about under 2 inches of gravel.
2. There's a clear plastic piece that goes inside the black cover. You just pop it into place. Keeps water from touching the light bulb.
Pump is pretty quiet.
Also, if you use the light, only turn on for a few hours each day. If you leave it on, some brown stuff will start to grow.

Tetra Usa STS25907 4-Piece Interlock Stone, Large
I purchased 2 sets to build a small platform for my 18month old eastern spiny softshell turtle. The "stones' are lightweight and smooth so they won't scratch your animal. The idea is great you can configure the stones for the space and the animal. It is compatible with the reptofilter and the prodcut can be used in wet or dry environments.
Cons: pegs stick out, float. Not enough holes in "stones" limits
configurations, costly to build a large enough structure.
The set comes with 4 "Stones" one large, 2 medium one small and have 1,2, or 3 holes depending on stone size which limits configuration. The pegs stick up above the stones even after snapping off the extra and they float. You have to buy lots of sets in order to get a large enough build to make it useful. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered sets with all one size "stones" i.e. 4 large stones.
User Suggestions: For dry environments manually cut off the pegs a little shorter than the top of the stone so they don't stick up. For wet environments ditch the pegs and use aquarium safe glue for a permanent set up.
