Searenity Wall Mounted Aquariums DORADO in Brushed Aluminum
The first (returned), and second one arrived damaged. I attribute this too poor packaging. It's an acrylic tank encased in MDF (medium density fiberboard). First step was to remove damaged hinged door on bottom of frame, both tanks arrived the same way. Second step was too seal all exposed fiberboard (MDF and water don't mix). Third step was to purchase all the extra items needed too make tank work. I replaced the cheesey filter and under the counter light fixture that were supplied with an under gravel filter and dual light fixture. You will also need gravel, heater, and a thermometer. If you like the bubbles in the tank shown in the picture you will also need a pump and air stoned. I recommend the pump as it will help oxygenate the water. I have had the tank set up for about 8 months now and the veneer on the frame has a few bubbles where water has come in contact with the MDF that I wasn't able too seal. I wouldn't recommend this tank for the newcomer. I gave it 3 stars because I have received alot of good comments on how it looks.

Beautiful in the tank! Has great color and looks amazing!It was much larger than I expected to get! It completely hides where the filter is with no problem!One of the prettiest artificial plants I have ever bought. It has a graceful bend in the water, very similar to the photo. Very full and lushious looking. The base is tan and heavy so holds this large plant in place. At a generous 24 in tall, it looks great in my 75gal tank. The leaf color is light green which look really nice against a blue or black backdrop.
I have found that i like plastic better than silk while silk plants look nice to start with, they start to get discolored and start to fray after about 5 mths. Living plants are more work and take time to get this big. So I'm sticking with easy inexpensive artificial plants.

Heed the warning of the other reviewer if you really want this product: get the small bottle! I ignored it and got this bottle anyway and, just like the other person, my bottle came within just a couple months of its expiration meaning that I will likely have to throw out at least half if not more.The real reason I don't like this product is because you have to use the test tube and shake the strips in the tube for 30 seconds which is really a pain when testing multiple aquariums. I prefer a quick reading and will stick with the Quick Dip strips JUNGLE AMMONIA NO VIAL 25 CT from now on.

I like this product because it's relatively quick and simple. Regular ammonia tests take about 15-20min to show accurate results, but this only takes about 3min total from start to finish.There is a major downside to this product and that is accuracy. The test is never even close to accurate when compared to two other regular testing kits which use a vial and chemical drops over a 15-20min period to show results. I think this is a good "quick" test but it should not be used as the only test. I now use the strips to watch for changes in the ammonia levels as opposed to trying to get an accurate reading. Ammonia should always be as close to 0 as possible, but realistically I try to keep it below 0.25ppm. The test strips always tell me that the ammonia is around 1.0 which is unsafe for my fish, but my two regular test kits indicate that my ammonia is between 0-0.25ppm which is safe for my fish. So the test really isn't accurate, but it does register changes so when the strip says it's higher than 1.0ppm I can usually see a slight increase when I test with the test kits. At first I thought it might be close to the expiration date like some other reviews said, but my bottle is good until April 2013.
I recommend this product as a quick test to watch for changes, but I don't recommend this as the only test you use. Monitoring water quality levels is important, and high ammonia is toxic for most fish so it is important to understand the accurate levels.

I have had a 15 X 20 foot koi pond for about seven years and have struggled the first four years to make the water clear so that I could actually see the Koi through the murky water. I can not believe what a difference liquid barley extract makes. I sure wish I had found this product sooner. My water is now crystal clear and stays that way with just a little added now and then. When I find something that works, I stick with it. I will continue to buy this product for years to come. Don't bother trying anything else, I have, they don't work, but this does!
Cat DJ Scratching Deck (by Suck UK)
I admit it's a cute idea. And if you buy it, have a camera ready as you never know when it'll truly look like your cat is "dj-ing." But it's NOT worth the money and not durable whatsoever.I was very disappointed when I opened this item. First, I couldn't believe it fit in such a small, flat package. But it did because it's basically just a box you fold together and it's supposed to stay together with tabs that stick in the inserts. Some wouldn't even hold and I had to tape them. No biggie though. It does have a creative design on the box, and the round scratching area does spin. However, my cats (who have loved ALL scratching items) did not take to this one. After about 10 seconds of interest (which I believe was mainly from the catnip), they never touched it again.
My two cats tear the crap out of ALL their scratching toys, except for this one. They prefer the $10 or so ACTUAL boxes that have replacement scratching areas to buy when needed (you take the old one out of the box and put the new scratcher inside it). They've scratched up their cat tree IMMENSELY! They also scratched up another round scratching item I got them (that includes a plastic 'ball holder' that's attached all around the area to be scratched so they can also play with the ball, swat at it & try and catch it, etc). But this one didn't appeal to them (or me).
The round area that they actually scratch is a lot smaller and thinner than I expected. Perhaps the size of it is the reason they never 'took' to it.
I also did not like this item (and not just because my cats didn't). I would never pay that much money for a folding box. I thought it would arrive as shown or with some assembly, but I wasn't expecting just a flimsy box with the DJ design on it. I was expecting something MUCH more durable or sturdy. This has been used by my cats once mainly by just sniffing the catnip I added to it. They barely scratched it. I DID get some cute pictures when they sat on it (and my male cat is twice the size of this thing!) He also loves to lay in or tear up boxes, so I thought he'd at least get a kick out of doing that (which I wouldn't have minded as he would have had fun in SOME way & got SOME use out of this). But it's just been sitting in my basement untouched ever since I got it.
It may be a better item for a kitten. For whatever reason, my cats, as I said, have torn up every scratching toy I've gotten them, with the exception of this one. And I was not happy at how flimsy it was and that I paid so much money for a box that folds together (and some parts of it wouldn't even stay together). Sorry, but I do not recommend this.
Pros: DJ Paws n Claws is now a rising artist in the European house music scene and regularly sends me checks in the mail. I can now live a life of leisure sipping on Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz and I have upgraded from my trailer to a modest houseboat.
Cons: DJ Paws n Claws has been pretty uppity lately, he's taken to smoking cigarettes and is hanging out with a "Dead Mouse". His new-found attitude has found its way to my new shag carpet, as he thinks that he's above the litter box and can take a huge dump wherever he likes.
Ultimate decision: Go ahead and get it. Even though my cat now takes dumps on the carpet due to the Suck UK Cat Scratch I am living the life that I deserve. My new girlfriend, Linda, isn't missing any of her incisors like my previous girlfriend Crystale.

I have three thermometers in my big tank. This one is almost 4 to 5 degrees higher (over 10 degrees higher in Fahrenheit) than the others even when placed side by side. I also bought the SODIAL(TM) Digital LCD Fish Aquarium Marine Vivarium Thermometer in the same package, as I wasn't sure which I would like better for looks. That thermometric was in line with my traditional thermometers. Get that one.As an added plus, that one has a Fahrenheit option. This one is Celsius only. That in itself wasn't a problem, just thought I'd point it out.
