This aquarium gravel is a great value. The price per pound is very competitive and the color is vibrant. My only complaint is that there have been a few stones where the color has chipped off (the tank has been established for less than 2 months).
After reading other reviews, my expectations of what was going to come in the mail were lowered, however I was very surprised when the product came. It was larger than I thought and our male Beta fish took to it instantly and I see him swimming actively engaging with it now. When resting, he definitely likes to go inside and just sit there. The quality is also very good (but of course I don't buy a lot of these types of things).

Of course I stuck my finger inside to make sure it was smooth, but there are some sharp edges on the inside of the log. I love my fish too much to put it in his tank. I bought 2 if these beta logs and I have been so pleased with them. I have had them for quite awhile now and they are excellent quality and my fish love them.
We love this little glass tank which is roughly 8" x 5" x 8". It sits on our kitchen table, and is definately a conversation piece. The divider is glass and is removable. We do not utilize the divider, and simply have one fish in the tank. We decided to add a filter to make a better environment for the fish, and to aid with the cleaning process. We are using the Elite Mini filter, but the Tetra Whisper is another option for this little tank. Both filters have suction cups to hold them in place. The Elite Mini filter that we are using is adjustable so we can control the amount of current. We originally had the Mini Bow 1 tank/filter and the current was too strong for our fish. Our betta is much happier in this tank. We also added a Betta Stik made by Deep Blue to maintain the proper temperature. The cover is glass as well and typically sits flush. Since we have added the filter and heater, our cover rests propped up a little due to the tubes and cords. With the setup we are using, the cover collects some water from condensation, but it does not seep over the edges of the tank. The cover is removable as well if you decided to keep the tank without it on. We prefer the glass tank to the other acylic ones available because it will not get scratched so easy. The size is great because it is easy to transport to the sink for cleaning. This tank comes with a Five-Year Manufacturer Limited Warranty. Our betta is living in the lap of luxury and loves his palace. Just add some decorations and it is beautiful.

I just got my product and I am so excited about it. It is so cute and the rocks and decorations that I am putting in it will just make it that much cuter. there is only one thing that i don't understand about it. It has a glass divider which is great as I have 2 bettas and we know what Betta's do when they are together and there is the divet on the top of the tank to slide the glass divider in and you can see the divet at the bottom of the tank where it is supposed to slide in ther but the glass is on top of the divet so you can access that divet to finish the slide and secure the divider? Kind of weird. It appears that all is sealed so it can't be accessed. If anyone has figured out something that don't know, let me know =) I am hoping that when I put the rocks and water in it that is won't move back and forth all over the place. I didn't want to use gravel, just the marbles but I may have to use gravel if I can't get the divider to stay in place? That is the only thing that I see is a problem, everything else looks great. Can't wait to give my betta's their Valentines present later today.These where great, I bought 3 and may buy more. They are easy to clean and make keeping bettas easier.I assumed this would be too small for 2 betta fish but it is perfect. There is plenty of space for them both and they don't bother with each other. Honestly we bought 2 males to see if they would fight through the glass, but they are both calm and because they can see each other they flare up and their colors are so beautiful. I would highly recommend this aquarium!
I bought 2... the penguin and the elephant... this for my classroom and the children love that the little goldfish are in the belly!! Definitely recommend for any child!! I'm already thinking who's birthday is next to get this for them! It has an air pocket in the back for oxygen, recordable message button (which is super cool), night light (in the neck of the animal), bow to make it boy or girl, rocks, and fake plant. I really loved this idea!! I read other reviews about the tank not staying clean... Well, it's a basic tank with messy fishit does not have a filter. You DO need to clean it. I lean mine once a week or as needed if they are messier one week. Im going to be looking into adding real plants and an oxygen tube.
Arrived in nice packaging and it does what it is suppose to do and no troubles yet. Though you'll need an external pump or use your filters pump for suction
It is really small. Gets lost in my 55 gallon. This would be good for a 10 gallon tank. It is also fragile meaning thin and easy to break off. Nice color but that is it. Would not recommend. Too expensive for what u get.
the plant tablets work well, its designed for 10 gallon and under. I have a 7.5 gallon cube and the plants are growing like crazy.
I needed an air pump for my koi pond and found this kit on Amazon. Laguna Koi (hagen) has great products for the Koi hobby. This air pump runs super quiet and is very efficient. Wont even notice it on your electric bill!
This gravel looks great in my betta's 5 gallon "natural" aquarium. It is much lighter and much more attractive (in my opinion) than the standard Petco River Rock Shallow Creek Aquarium Gravel, 20 lbs.. I find the River Rock one to be too dark and, frankly, ugly. The size is great and perfect for the roots of my Anubias. The light color accentuates the colors of my fish and decor.
I got a magnetic cleaner and it scratched the bajeebus out of my tank. One packet was more then enough to remove all of the scratches. I didn't think it would be possible to get them out. While I don't think it would do much good for deep gouges, it did an excellent job of removing small surface ones.

I think they should be clear in the description of this scratch removal kit that it will remove SMALL, FINE scratches. It will make a slight improvement to larger scratches created by the ceramic media so I recommend being very careful if you have to remove any of the cermaic media and not getting scratches in the first place!

The only problem I have with this is it is way too noisy, even when it is just plugged in without the hose. I don't know if it is defective and just needs to be exchanged for another one or if this is just a bad brand.
