Hinged Rectangle Aquarium Canopy in Glass

Perfecto Manufacturing APF33240 Glass Canopy Aquarium, 24-Inch

I have a 55 gallon aquarium from an unknown manufacturer that needed two lids. These fit perfectly and the price was great.

I ordered this canopy because i had mesured my 40 gallon and knew that i needed a 36" wide top. The canopy I received is 35 1/4 ", and if i had let go it would have fallen right into my tank. There arent dimensions on the box but it does say this: FITS 30, 34H & 45H GAL. TANKS. If this had been included in the products description I might not have ordered it since my tank is a 40 gal. Seller should correct the dimensions in the description. The depth is wrong too. With the plastic thing attached to the glass it is only 11.5", not 13" as advertised. Furthermore the handle they inclcuded is all scratched up. I will be returning this :(

Contacted seller (HorseLoverZ / EasyPetStore) on Amazon and eBay about this item. Claimed manufacturer gave her the stock photo. The manufacturer denied this saying that the picture is NOT of the item. The photo and the item do not match. In the photo, it shows three separate hinged partitions. The item only has one hinge.

Communication from the seller is poor and NOT recommended.

Nano CO2 Diffuser - Glass Reactor for Aquarium Plants

i put this on my DIY co2 system and it works great, you need to have pressure for it to work. it looks great in my tank and has been working perfectly for a few weeks now. Wish the glass was a little thicker, I get nervous when I have to clean it because its so thin, but overall it works great and looks great too..

I bought this for my DIY yeast bottle setup (with a 2 liter bottle) and it works great. The bubbles out of this are incredible small, much smaller than any air stone I have tried. Smaller bubbles=better CO2 absorption. It supplies my 26 gal tank very well, for larger tanks consider using two for more CO2. Very attractive too.

The seller seems to have run out of suction cups. But the diffuser works great. It is also very small, the diameter of the ceramic disk is less than an inch and its about 3 inches tall, it looks great on my 10 gallon planted aquarium. This diffuser is 10 times better than any air stone and probably needs 10 times the pressure in order to work properly.

EDIT: The ceramic disc in this nano diffuser will get clogged over time if you don't have a gas separator (assuming you have a DIY CO2 system; personally I wouldn't recommend having a gas separator since many of the pressure is lost in there). I recommend using hydrogen peroxide to clean it; pull it out and soak the diffuser in hydrogen peroxide. It is not harmful to the fish nor will it change the water chemistry of your tank once you put it back. You can rinse off the excess hydrogen peroxide if you want but it is not necessary.

I really liked this diffuser while it was working. But it takes less than a day when the pressure runs out for it to get clogged. Unclogging is as simple as drying it out and popping it in the oven for a short amount of time but one day the stem broke when I was removing the tubing. For 11 bucks, its annoyingly fragile, and in the end I was left searching for a more reliable product.

It may have taken a little while to receive this item. It came from Singapore so it was no wonder that it took about a week and a half to get here. All that aside, this little wonder is perfect. It hardly takes up any space in my 10 gallon freshwater tank and now my plants are looking GREAT!

My husband and I run a 37 gallon tank, and a 125 gallon tank that have these lights. That means we own 4 of them, and may buy 2 more in the near future for our 55 gallon aquarium. Every single one has worked perfectly. This fixture is a total win. The price is very good for a dual tube fixture, and our plants are thriving with a little encouragement from Flourish and Flourish Excel. I'm spoiled now, and it would be difficult to go back to a single tube fixture. The colors of the fish are so much better and plant growth is much nicer. We do not run CO2 equipment. Love this fixture.

Just as a side note, the 30" model from the same company is garbage. We tried three of them from Amazon, sending back one after the other. They all failed after no more than 4 days. Finally, we decided that the 24" model is so good that we would use one of them on our 30" tank, anyway.

Bought this lamp fixture for my 26g bowfront lightly planted tank, and it worked great for about a month. The fixture then failed to light up one of the two bulbs. I replaced the bulb, but still nothing worked. Coralife was decent enough to send a replacement fixture.

...which failed two months later, in the same manner. If you pay for cheap, you get cheap. Customer service was fine, but I can't keep asking for a replacement every 2 months. The fixture repeatedly will fail on lighting both bulbs. I'm done with this fixture.

Hagen Marina Brush Kit, Set of 3

These brushes are soft but do a very good job of cleaning your filters.I find they work the best on those long hoses on Rena canister filters.I have 3 fish tanks 100 gal reef, 33 gal with Blood parrots,and 40 gal neon tetra tank.All have Rena canister filters.And hoses always get pluged up these brushes make my job 100% easer.I recommed them greatly.I have had tanks going on 20 years so have tryed alot of diffrent brushes.Very gental on those impellers.

got this to clean tubes of the filters in my aquariums. they work great. glad there is 3 different sizes to accommodate different tubes. have owned other brands of brushes where the bristles just fell out--i have not had that problem with these.

I ordered these brushes in the hope that they would effectively clean the bottom of my Marina S-20 aquarium filter. I love this filter, but it is really difficult to clean. Since the brush set comes from the same company, I thought these brushes could hold the secret to a sparkling clean filter. But, no such luck. The stems are too flexible and the bristles cover the sides of the stem, but don't extend around the bottom. So when trying to brush out the bottom of the filter, it is the base of the stem that hits the plastic instead of bristles. However, the smaller brushes are great for cleaning out tubes and the pump, which is why I am giving the set 4 stars.

It is a round brush on a flexible shaft and cleaned what I needed it to clean. Seems to be of reasonable quality for the price.

I have a small tank (5-1/2 gallon) with 4 fancy guppies and 2 cory catfish. One of the catfish developed white spots and red streaks, appeared to have balance problems & stopped eating, while all of the other fish seemed to remain healthy. I am new at keeping fish, and admit I have no idea exactly what was affecting this catfish. I removed him to a hospital tank and dosed him with a different product which clearly hurt rather than helped. I returned him to the main tank and dosed it with a combination of Mardel Coppersafe and Maracyn Two. This caused no adverse reaction from any of the fish, and the ailing catfish began to look better. After five days of the combination meds, the catfish has no signs of distress and the spots and red streaks have completely disappeared. I hadn't thought he would survive, but he is now busily searching for food and he looks healthy. I will continue treatment with Coppersafe for a total of 30 days to be sure there are no more infestations in the tank or filter. Coppersafe does not die the water blue nor does it stain the tank. Mardel Customer Service was easy to reach and very helpful when I had questions about their products. Coppersafe used with Maracyn Two treats a wide spectrum of problems and certainly worked well for me.

I researched this product and found it recommended by many people, it worked just as described. I had contracted a bad case of anchor worms in my tank and was concerned that medication would harm the Blue Lobster that lives with my fish. This products direction said it can be used with invertebrates in the tank. I am pleased to say, this product has cleared up the infection and we are all happy including the Blue Lobster.

Doesn't say anywhere in the instruction that it may be harmful, but it killed my BN pleco. I did the research afterward that I should have done in the first place and found that this is a common complaint. My low rating is because it should have a warning about the risk to those kinds of fish, not just invertebrates and plants. The tank didn't have ich, I was just using it as a preventative.

Stunning little tank, with quality glass body & glass lid. Filter is literally noiseless and comes with bio-media. filter compartments can be filled with other material as needed. LED light produces a nice slightly cool blue-ish tone. Light will need to be upgraded if you intend to keep live plants or corals, which you'd expect to do at this price point.

Overall, you cant beat the quality and look of this tank especially when comparing to other brands similar sized tanks.

I didn't buy the tank from amazon, but I really like this tank that I feel I should write something here (since no review is available yet).

My betta fish originally lived in an one-gallon plastic hexagon tank TOM Mini Hex 1gal Aquarium Kit with UGF, Air Pump without using the air pump. I change water twice a week, but he was still sick. He had rotted and split fin (got worse everyday), body was pale and eyes were dull. I went to an aquarium store, the owner gave me some Thailand herb for the fish, and told me that the fish needs to have warm water (like 78-80F)... However, even the smallest tank heater requires at least 2 gallon of water. That's why I decided to buy this tank. This tank comes with built-in filtration system, bio-balls, ceramic rings, glass lid and LED lighting. The set up is pretty simple. The only thing is that the water flow is a bit too strong for betta fish. I use a piece of plastic sheet, fold it and slide into where the water comes out to redirect the water flow, my betta is very happy and energetic now. Glass tank looks much better than plastic one. I put some plants too, and the water seems very clean all the time (compare to my old setup). You may consider adding filter foam to remove the dust and debris or also adding a nitrate remover pad to eliminate brown algae.

All-Glass makes some of the best aquariums on the market. I spent about a year working at a boutique pet store, and All-Glass produced the best products we sold. In that time, I didn't see a single defective product or hear a single customer complaint about All-Glass. I even bought a complete 45-gallon setup (tank, stand, hood and light) when I established my own aquarium.

Yes, All-Glass aquariums cost a bit more than the acrylic tanks you can pick up at Petsmart, but it's worth it. For one thing, glass won't scratch like acrylic will. If you think algae looks bad, wait until your acrylic tank has accumulated a few years of nicks and scratches. The stands are also a bit pricey, but they're sturdy, level and attractive. Keep in mind that fresh water weighs around 7 lbs per gallon (salt water ranges around 10 lbs, depending on salinity), which doesn't even include hardware and gravel. Even a freshwater 5.5 gallon aquarium will weigh over 40 pounds and a 20 gallon tank can weigh anywhere from 150-200 lbs. A sturdy, level stand is an important part of buying an aquarium.

Glass isn't for everyone. It's very dangerous if it gets broken, which is always possible with young kids around. But if you have children old enough to be respectful around their pets, this 5.5 gallon aquarium is a great way to start. It's also an excellent option if you don't have much room/budget, or you're setting up a quarantine tank for your main aquarium. Either way, I highly recommend any All-Glass products.

Please do your research. You can get a tank like this at Petsmart (made of GLASS) for no more than $20, probably less. And with a tank so small, you really shouldn't be that concerned with getting a super high quality/expensive tank. Maybe if you are getting a 55 gallon you should be more concerned. Acrylic and glass have their advantages/disadvantages, and Petsmart actually doesn't carry very many acrylic tanks.

This was a great lawn decoration that I used for my fish tank for awhile. I ended up taking it out because you cant see the debree that gets left over. But for looks in the tank it looked fantastic. Looked realistic in the tank.

Hagen Fluval LED Strip Aquarium Light

I bought this at my local Petco for a Fluval Spec V to replace the pee poor lighting included in Fluval's Spec V kit. It's a perfect fit after you jimmy off the Spec V's pee poor lamp's holder .

This lamp is not toy LED's as I found with the Spec V . It's very well made and the light output is not going to take your tank to a high light C02 fed daily mess of never ending fussing but will let you grow low light plants for sure. Fluval claims 7500K but to my eye looks like 1800k + .

I like that the unit's LED's are covered with a splash plate , many LED's are open and well on an open tank this can be a problem.

Heads up AMAZON it was cheaper at my local PetCo with TAX ! I love you Amazon but keep up with what crap sells for.

Need to add the rests for the end of the lamp are not clear as in the PIC but black. NO PROB for me but ADA people may not like it !

I have been a tropical fish hobbyist since the early 1980's. I keep strictly fresh water tanks and now I currently have a 265 gallon setup with african cichlids. Not having live plants and not needing any special lighting requirements for coral, etc.., I just wanted an led fixture to brighten up the tank. I already had two six foot flourescent fixtures with four bulbs in each fixture. I was able to see all the fish but the color of the fish especially the irredescence did not show up like I knew it could. So, rather than spend a ton of money, I thought I would try one of these fixtures and if it worked, then I could buy more. When I put this on top of the glass strip which runs along the top of the tank, I could not believe how much brighter the fish looked and how much nicer everything looked with this little 36 inch fixture. I am going to immediately order another to put alongside the one I have. this way i will cover six feet of the seven which is the width of the tank. The 265 gallon tank is over two feet deep so I need something to reach the bottom. It does this pretty well also. Even my wife who really does not bother with the fish said "WOW" I got a real nice piece of lighting equipment and am really happy with it. It has plastic brackets on the side which slide out but i have no use for them. It is ultra slim and low profile which is real nice. I have a canopy on my tank which covers the entire top including all the lighting fixtures and makes it look more like a piece of furniture. I would highly recomend this light to anyone thinking about getting one.

I purchased this item. The label accompanying it says it glows in the dark. I informed the seller that it does not glow at all. I have it under constant light during the day and also a blue light for a few minutes at night. It does not glow at all. The label with it says it is an imitation of the brand Underwater World. I guess you should buy that instead.

Aside from not glowing, it's a lifelike jellyfish that moves in the water current.
