Well, this is a nice looking product. Unfortunately, the Statue has cracked off the base after just 4 months. Had to glue it back, but now the light green paint on Lady Liberty is wearing off. In all, GREAT aerator for my tank but work needs to be done on the curing process of the decoration.
This bulb is so short lived that you might as well buy a whole new lamp. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

so I ordered this just to control the amount of air being pumped into my fishbowl (if the pump was going full plast the poor little guy would be sent whriling around the bowl). It works pretty well. The knob sometimes slipps off if you turn it too far and there isnt' anything to anchor the tube to anything outside the bowl. There are several control valves and an equal number of splitters to divide the airflow to extra bowls.I'd reccomend this only if you have two fish bowls or just want to regulate the air flow to one bowl.

I purchased this item mainly to remove nitrate and nitrite. By testing it with a test kit, it doesn't do anything as it claims on the bottle. It probably does what it claims, but nothing that would cause a change on the after test. Oh, I also doubled the dosage, NOTHING.
They float to the top and then are pushed down occasionally by the current from the filter. We just have a 2 gallon tank so it seemed that 5 was too much as 3 were stuck in a group on the top...when it's just 3, it's better. We've had bad luck with real fish so this is just what we needed!

I'd read reviews on fish that were all exactly the same (i.e., they clump together), so I wanted a set with different fish. All tend to "swim" at the top except the angel fish (the white one), which migrates to the bottom and stays there. My daughter loves them, and has named them all. If Como produces such peices of crap, they should not be in business.......I wanted to give it zero stars, because I do more than hate it. This product simply does not work. I used it for three weeks following the instructions and everything remained the same. I have a 20 gallon tropical aquarium and I instead replaced the substrate after giving up with multiple products. We accidentally did too much of a water change and created an in-balance in our tank due to trying to plan ahead for a vacation. It took awhile to eliminate the green algae and cloudy water bloom but this worked so well we started to use it as a regular with our other tanks. Aerated well and we have had no plant or freshwater fish loss. Sparkling clean tanks. Will recommend and continue to use.
It is actually a pack of 2 20-30 gallon filters. i would highly suggest getting 2 powerheads for this set up and only using one tube on each filter. it is set up to have 4tubes with noisy air bubblers. Power heads filter more water, create better circulation, and are much more quiet. My fish and i are quite happy with it.

I put this in my fishtank a few days ago thinking it would make a nice little shrimp cave. The shrimp seem to like it okay but my betta loves it! He likes to swim through the eye holes and then just plop down in the center and stick his head out of the mouth. It's like a little doghouse for him :)
