Started an aquarium this winter and the first plastic plants I bought were from Petco. I spent $17 dollars on 2 small grassy plants, 2 large plant, 1 medium.

I needed some more plants so I decided to shop on amazon to compare prices. These are great plants, I love the different colors, and I ended up taking some of my Petco plants out because I like these more. They make the tank "pop" more and look fantastic on my dark blue gravel. Best thing is, these were way cheaper so I know next time I need plants for my fish I'll be coming back here!

I have an old SunPac compact flourecent lighting fixture that I used for years on a 46 gallon heavily planted tank. It wasn't until I purchased and setup a new 50 gallon acrylic tank that I was reluctant to lay my 90 watt compact flourecent lighting fixture on top of the acrylic so I looked into the TrueLumen which is also manufactured by SunPac. I have a freshwater partially planted tank and wanted a lighting affect that wasn't just a brighter-then-bright-blinding-white so I chose the combination blue/white strip that was recommended for marine tanks however this exceptional LED fixture is keeping my few real plants thriving! I'm so pleased with the lovely cool color this fixure puts out. I'm also soooo pleased that the LED fixture only consumes 23 watts! These things are also water proof!!! I'm planning on purchasing another one of these LED's soon. I highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed. Oh the only complaint I have is the power line comes out of the strip in the very back of the strip instead of the side of the strip so if you have a canopy hood with little wiggle room you may need to carve out a little room to accomodate the power line or else it may wear away and expose the wires over time if you find yourself with a really tight fit. Mine has held up just fine so far but I sometimes wonder if it might stop working one day.

I love the look it give my tank...very organic and zen like. Pretty easy to clean..tiny fish love to hide in it...so be careful when you do clean...would recomend a small bowl with water so the can come out of hiding before cleaning

They look good in the tank but I am disappointed that the large one is not weighted, although it does have holes in it so that it can fit around the bubble tube. I was just intending for it to sit on the side and not centered on the bubble tube---i guess i could put some rocks in the middle of it to get it to stay down. The larger one also seems to fall apart pretty easy. The green parts can be snapped back into place but it gets a little annoying when you have to do that if you take the bubble tube out.

Even those these were plastic they're pretty good! Got these for my mom for mother's day (her hobby is fish) so it was a great gift in my opinion without spending a lot of money on the real thing! Though I wish I could have gotten more floaters. It was one floater and two bottom sitters. I really like watching the big one float and spin. It's cool!

The unit consistently delivers the same temperature, which is good, but that temperature is always about five degrees higher that where I set it. So if I want my tank at 77 I need to set this to 72. These products are all about accuracy and consistency, and this unit has not been so great. I'm too lazy to make a warranty claim, but I figured other customers should know my experience.

I got this heater with a fish tank that we purchased. It was keeping our 65 gal tank about 80, but when I saw where the dial was set, I moved it to 82, and it made my tank go to 90 degrees! I was shocked when I saw the temp. I had to do some fancy footwork to get the tank down to where it should be. I will be buying a new heater. Accuracy is important. I would not recommend this heater.

Bought two of these for my 20 long freshwater tank (I put one on each side.) They practically go on and off at the same time that's how well calibrated they are. In my setup, they have about a 2-degree range from where I calibrated them meaning, I set them both to their highest settings initially and after an hour I plugged them in, and then turned them both down until they turned off at the temperature I wanted (79 degrees.) The tank fluctuates between 78+ and 80+ degrees, which is very acceptable to me.

I just got this today, but I am already happy with it. I got it for my betta as an upgrade from a smaller tank, which was very pretty. It is pleasing to look at, though not as nice as my old one, and it is a great size. I cannot comment on durability as of now. However, if I find any problems with my "betta house" I will come back and update.
