While the stones plug up and need to be replaced, this device is cleanable. BUT, it doesn't actually produce the fine bubbles that a stone does, and the smaller the bubbles, the better the gas exchange. This device produces a bubble size that is barely better than just sticking the hose in the water with no end at all.

These are pretty nice. You get three small bags of carbon. I should have figured out how much 330G was because they are kind of small for the Fluval FX5. I put two in my filter and I could still fit two more if I wanted. Next time I am going to buy the filter bags and just fill them up with carbon. This is cheaper then you will find at local pet stores, but I think I should be able to get more for my money if I fill my own filter bag.

This product is the most amazing thing I ever found. I put it in place of the filter bag and in 4 days our tank went from dark green to perfectly clear. I recomend this to evry and anyone who is looking to clear up their fish tank. The tank is clean and the semll is absoulty gone. I love it and would totally recomend this carbon with all sincerity!

The hose is what it is...functional, but it's not whats shown in the picture. The end fittings are not dark blue plastic tipped and the hose itself doesn't have a quality construction to it. Very cheap in terms of material...thing is worth about $1.50. I'm not expecting a gold-constructed hose for this price, but just send something reasonable. It's junk.
I ordered 2 of these air stones, and they arrived in a few weeks, directly from China. They worked well when the air volume is great, and the size of the bubbles is insignificant, such as when circulation and aerating water in a 5 gallon bucket. In the tank, however, where lover volumes of air might be used, the size of the bubbles nearest the inlet are "larger than most air stones" and few bubbles emit from the end length of the stone. To make bubbles come out of the full length of the stone, air volume must be increased significantly. If you are looking for medium to fine size bubbles that come out evenly over the whole length of the stone, this not the one for you. This item only allows for large bubbles and uneven bubble distribution, and cannot produce small bubbles. Both of the 2 stones functioned identically and might not be the best choice for bubble aesthetics in the aquarium.

These BiOrb plants are nicely sized for medium tanks. Both are are relatively the same size, (the purple one is larger, though, which is kinda ironic because the picture show the purple on smaller.) They are almost too tall for my 3.9 gal/15 L vertical tank. (I don't own a BiOrb.) I recommend this for 5 gallon tanks and up. Good quality, semi-unrealistic up close, though. When I first got them I was disappointed because they looked very fake, but after I rinsed them and put them in my tank they looked pretty good. My female Betta loves to hide in them, as she is a shy fish. The bases look a little awkward, unless you cover it with a lot of rocks or you've got lots of gravel.

I have a small tank (3 gal) and these plants fit perfectly in it. It's only about 12in tall but they fit great and float around gracefully near the surface of the water. My betta really seems to like swimming through them and resting on the leaves. They look pretty realistic in the tank to boot. The colors aren't so bright that they look fake. I also like the anchors. They did a good job making them look realistic as well. My gravel covers most of the base but a small section of it shows so I'm glad they paid attention to that part too. I decided to buy some fake plants for my aquarium since most live plants have a hard time living in the water I have coming out of my tap. These plants were very vibrant in color which only gets better once they're in the tank. And I LOVE the weights on the bottom they stay in place and don't disturb the substrate very much since it's nicely rounded. I only hope they come out with other varieties of plants so I can buy more! They look absolutely stunning in my aquarium. I've had people ask if they were real. You can't tell at all they are fake plants. Highly recommend!
