This holder fits my Hydor THEO Submersible Aquarium Heater perfectly. I have a Baby Biorb and the round glass can magnify the heater so it seems gigantic. However, this holder keeps it tucked off to the side so it's not so noticeable. I didn't have any trouble getting it to stick to the tank. There are a couple different holes for the suction cups so you can fit them to the curve of different Biorb sizes.Biorb must have changed the design of the heater holder. This isn't as per the product photo or the "Product Dimensions: 12.8 x 0.8 x 5.2 inches". Instead of the long bit of plastic the heater uses suctions to attach to I received a rather neat small molded holder about 3-4 inches long which the heater slots into.
Beware this new holder design will not hold any heater with suction pad to attach it to the holder. You will now need it to be the shape of a Hydor THEO Submersible Aquarium Heater 50W UL or similar circumference.
I bought it for my Baby Biorb and I gave up the swearing & fight to make it fit. Lucky it fits just fine in my 8 gallon Biorb so I swooped the holders. I expect it would also work with bigger Biorbs and its a great looking upgrade from the flat plastic one.
So it gets 1 star for product accuracy and not fitting my baby Biorb and a very fortunate 5 stars for a great product redesign in my 8g Biorb! My brother had an extra Marineland submersible heater and this heater holder is perfect for it. With it attached to the tank in the back, I can't see the heater at all. I stuck it to the wall about a month ago and haven't had to adjust it once. I would definitely recommend this for a submersible heater in a biorb tank.
