BiOrb Aquarium Digital Thermometer

The pic for the advertised product showing the temp in Celsius, I received 4 of them in Fahrenheit.

Yet it is a very good accurate thermometer.

I purchased two of these units for my 92 gallon bowfront aquarium. I wanted two just to be safe and if one battery dies I will have another unit on the opposite side of the tank to be a backup.

One unit reads 79.9 and the opposite side reads 79.7. On most of the digital thermometer's there is a + or of about 1.5 degrees but I am pleased overall with the quality and function of these little guys. I painted them black to match my tank and bought 20 spare batteries for about $2.00 which will keep these units going for years.

Like other reviews I've made...I'll come back in a few months and update you guys to see how they are running. The battery compartment has a nice O-Ring on it...so i think they will work for some time to come.

I also bought a Coralife digital thermometer for my sump and the temp reads the same.

I bought this thermometer after trying a traditional glass thermometer.

The glass one was hard to read, so was pretty much worthless. This little guy attaches to the side of the take with the included suction cup. It has a clear digital display that is easy to read. It seems very acurate matching the temp on my Fluval heater very closly. I use it in a 12 gallon Nano-cube DX saltwater reef setup. It comes with a battery uninstalled so that it will be fresh when installed.

The display does not work and the plastic on the package was removed from the cardboard on arrival. Had one previously that only lasted a few months.

I bought this item back on nov.6 2012 and in may 2013 it quit working.i change the battery and still did not work.i called the 1 800 number that amazon gave me.i told them that I bought the item back in nov from amazon.the guy ask for my name and address and sent me a new one and I received it in 3 days.the service was very good.i would buy from them again.
