They swim! one fin was broken off in the bag but snapped back in easily. I purchased these to put one in a jar for a Bill Murray from "What About Bob?" costume for Halloween.

I purchased these for both my indoor fountain and outdoor water garden. They are cute! I purchased two sets of two. One of the fish tilts upward so that it looks like it is either feeding or getting some oxygen. The others float upright. The tails swivel to and fro randomly with water currents. I might attach a thin string and weight to the tails to keep them in areas of my water features I'd like them to stay. I don't need to worry about the neighbor's cat with these faux fishies. I'm thinking about getting some more. The shipment arrived two weeks before the provided expected arrival date which was nice as I was anxious to see the quality of them. Pictures uploaded.
