Carib Sea ACS00370 South Sea Base Rock for Aquarium, 40-Pound

I used a box of this in my new reef tank. I seeded it with some live rock and now its got some color and looks great. After a couple of months you can barely tell what was dead rock and what was live rock. My nitrates have been zero for 6 months too! I've I ever set up another tank I'm getting a few more boxes of this stuff. My only complaint is that they pack it with foam peanuts, and they get stuck in the live rock nooks and crannies. I would always find little bits of foam in my tank for a few months after I put it in my tank. Very annoying.

Good value .. lots of charactor, great for any reef to add more base w/o spending a fortune on all live rock... Mixed 90 lbs with 20 lbs of live rock from LFS and should be developed in 6-8 weeks.. Very nice
