I have a 36 gallon bow front tank and this light fits it perfectly. To start I had a the standard day bulb along with a color bulb in but ended up taking out the color and adding another white to cut down on the amount of algae growth in my tank. I used to have a big algae problem growing on my tank lid that blocked all the light. With this fixture I wouldn't say there is no growth but it is certainly less and there is still plenty of light even when the algae starts to get thick between cleanings. I love that the bulbs can be changed out unlike other LED lights which are internal. It is nice knowing I can add up to 3 bulbs but I have to say 2 is more than sufficient for my tank. I don't use the "moon" feature but turn my light off at night but when I do turn it on there is a nice blue glow to the tank. This fixture is well worth the money and I am very happy I bought it.Save 44% Off
