Manufacturer of these bulbs ought to be ashamed of the price they charge for these bulbs, it's a light bulb for crying out loud. Think of the amount of electronics that go into this, it's low tech.. they ought to be about $5 each max.

I've purchased two of these bulbs in the last year for our desert tortoise. The last one burned out after a month so I replaced the fixture thinking it was probably the hardware and not the bulb. Got this one, dead a month later. Never buying a single thing from Zilla again.

I have a bearded dragon and I use this light for the cool side of his tank. It blew and I bought a replacement at the pet store. It was really expensive. So before I made that mistake I looked online and found this one. It was way cheaper, so I bought it as a replacement. The one I bought at the pet store blew in just a few weeks. So I used this and it has lasted for a few months now.
