It's a very effective for algae without harming koi or plants. I use every 2 weeks. Also doesn't seem to effect my pond frogs

Did not perform as advertised, never reduced or controled the spread of algea. I have had much better results using AlgeaFix. Will not buy again.

This is the first time I have used this type of pond cleaner. It's very different from the liquid cleaners. The tabs "bubble" a lot and copious amounts of yucky green algae surface to the water so it's easy to scoop out with a net.... I would recommend turning the hose on in the pond after the tabs dissolve & let the green goo run out with the water. The liquid cleaners just clean without the mess but both most likely have different merits.

The product worked very marginally, it really did not clear the algea from the pond, maybe in tropical climates the dosis should be higher, but in my case it did not worked at all.
