This product was recommended since i purchased the Pondmaster 2920 20 watt UV pond water light clarifier. Unfortunately I took for granted that this was actually the correct replacement part since all documentation seemed to match and it was "recommended". It was about 1/4" too long, and when trying to screw the housing cap back on it shattered the bulb. Glass fragments got stuck in the necks of the unit itself and I was unable to get them out. So I had to wind up getting an entire new unit. Lesson learned measure twice. Also never recieved any response to a previous product rating with the supplier.
I buy this bulb annually for a Koi pond anti-algae application. It has always worked perfectly. This year the bulb arrived by Fed Ex. The box had a deep crush mark on one end and when I opened it, the bulb was broken. I advised the manufacture via the Amazon process and they replaced the bulb promptly.
