This glass tank is approximately 12x6x6, and has 2 removable glass dividers along with a removable glass top. Although it is designed for 3 betta fish, it could easily accomodate other small fish, frogs, turtles, or plants. It is basically just a mini rectangular glass tank. Its small size offers me the flexibility to relocate it in many different places throughout the house. It also makes life easy when trying to clean the tank, because it can just be taken to the sink.
Although it is designed for 3 betta, I don't know if I can recommend it for more than two. Originally I intended to utilize this tank for 1 betta and add a small filter. It so happened that I purchased 2 new fish, so I figured I would just use the filter in the larger side. Once I got the fish situated in the tank, I found that this wasn't working well. The two fish were so agressive that they were smashing their faces into the glass trying to attack each other. The other problem was that there is a small gap between the divider and the side wall which allowed for one fish to put his fins through, and ultimately I feared the other fish would destroy him. Therefore, I ended up splitting them up by using both dividers and having no fish in the middle. I should note that one divider fits very snug, and the other has that small gap. I'm not sure if this is just a defect in this particular one, or if this would be consistent if I ordered another. I am now using the Elite Mini Filter in the center section. I know it is not as effective with the dividers in place, but at least it is putting air in the tank to help the fish with a better environment. I also have a Betta Stik (small heater) in the center section. If you just add some small decorations, it makes a delightful aquarium.
I like having a glass tank better than acrylic since it won't scratch as easy. This tank comes with a Five-Year Manufacturer Limited Warranty. I purchased this tank from Allpet on Amazon, which I found to be less expensive than my local retailer. Allpet packaged the tank well, and shipped it rather quickly. I would feel confident ordering from Allpet again. I recommend this 1.5 gal Deep Blue tank be used along with the Deep Blue Betta Stik and Tiny Temp.I cannot recommend this tank for more than 1 beta fish. At 12 inches long by 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall, it's a small rectangular tank perfect for ONE beta.
It's beautiful...but mine is crooked...the water comes up higher on one side of the tank. I thought it was the table... Then I moved it and put a level on it....sure enough...it slants to one side!
I put a wedge under one side and wrapped a dish towel around the bottom, so you can't really tell it is crooked anymore. I wish it wasn't, but it's not worth the hassle of repackaging and sending back for a return. I will just use it for awhile and then buy a new fish tank and re-purpose this one.
Oh well...live and learn. Other than the lean, it's a beautiful tank. The fish enjoys it.

I got this tank for my betta fish several months ago. I wanted 1.5 gallon and wide rather than tall, as fish naturally swim horizontal path, not vertically. It is just perfect. I was worried the tank would be crooked like previous reviewer said, and it did seem that way at first on my desk. But i found out, it was the building and desk level causing it, not the tank at all. The tank is perfectly level for me at least. My friend who's serious aquarium hobbyist keeps complimenting this 'miniature' tank look, sturdiness, glass material, and just the right size. I am very very happy with this tank.Great little tank. Served its purpose to separate my husbands three bettas. I just wish that it had holes/ indents on the back of the lid so that I could close it all the way with the water heater in it. It's a glass top so I can't cut the holes I need.I'm not dissatisfied with these tanks, but they are a lot smaller than you may think. The picture of the product should have something next to it, to give you a sense of the scale of the tank.
