Marina Betta Kit Plastic Plant, Hairgrass

Marina Betta Kit Plastic Plant, HairgrassI bought this plant five months ago for my 5-gallon aquarium that houses 4 male fancy guppies. The hair grass is soft and waves in the current from the filter. The guppies swim down into it, around it, and through it with no hesitation. I've bought a number of other plastic plants, thinking a second plant would look nice. However, they've all been stiff and/or with sharp points and the guppies will have nothing to do with them. Those plants are now in the back of a cupboard awaiting the next garage sale and the Marina hair grass remains the only plant in the tank. The suction cup is strong and adheres to the glass bottom of my fish tank well enough that it would have to be pried loose if I wanted to remove it. The fronds are soft and non-harmful to the large tails and fins of the guppies. Now that I've compared this hair grass with other plastic plants, I feel fortunate to have found it. I recommend it without reservation.

My betta is in love with this plant, & it does not rip his fins! I bought four of them and placed them all in my 10 gallon tank, and they seem to be doing well. One issue is that the suction cup and and actual plastic plant do detach from each other but can easily be out back together.

Worked very well in my small aquarium. My betta fish likes to rest on it.

Could be a little bit short for a 5 gallon tank. Fit a 2gallon tank better.

This plastic plant was actually stiffer than I had anticipated, however, it appears that my betta does not really mind. He enjoys swimming in and out of it. Not only that, the suction cup works extremely well. Over all, I will recommend this to anyone who desires a plastic plant in their thank.

My sweet Myles, the double-tail Betta, absolutely LOVES this plant! And it goes so perfectly in his 1 gallon bowl, offers color and variety

and is rather vertical in design, so it doesn't take up much room. Myles will swim through the leaves lazily but the cutest thing is when he

launches himself straight down into the middle, shimmying his fins to get "deep" and promptly goes to sleep ~ head-down, fanned out, completely vertical!

But this plant is soft and has long, slender "leaves" so it doesn't cause any fin damage and Myles can swim through it and play in it with no threat to his lovely fins.

I'm thrilled that Myles loves it I'll be keeping this decoration for sure!
