I had to buy a replacement hood for my very old hexagon aquarium and this is the perfect replacement. My aquarium is around 30 years old and made out of heavy glass. It's very pretty. My best friend's sleeve unknowingly got caught on the original hood, pulling it off the aquarium and crashing it onto the floor and shattering it. I was so pleased when I finally found this perfect replacement! The fit and the color are a perfect match to my aquarium! I LOVE IT!!
