Purchased this combo on Jan 14, 2009. The aquarium arrived within a week and was scratch free. It looks quite nice with rounded front corners. Bought a fluorescent lamp for the included hood but it would not light. Called the manufacturer (Casco Group) of the hood and was told they were having trouble with the ballast on some of these hoods and they would ship a new ballast right away. Two weeks later it had not arrived so we called again and got a different Customer Service Rep. Was told they were very sorry and a NEW HOOD would be sent out immediately. The next day 2 new ballasts arrived. Neither worked. We are now one month out and I do not have a light for the aquarium. Overall the set up looks fine, the size is neither too big nor too small, but without a light I am missing a part of the experience. We have called twice since being told the new hood was being shipped and can only leave voice mails. I will attempt to return just the hood to Petco this week and see if they can help secure a working replacement. Had the light worked from the outset I would rate this combo with 5 stars.Save 19% Off
