Recessed Full Aquarium Hood Size: 48" x 13", Color: Oak

I was expecting this supposedly 48 inch wide light fixture to fit my 55 gallon, 48 inch wide tank perfectly. But have to say I'm disappointed. It's about a half inch too wide and hangs off the side of my tank by 1/2 inch. Is it enough to send back? No. But buyer beware.

The hood matches my aquarium setup perfectly. It arrived in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the purchase. The price was half of what I would have paid at a local pet store.

Weird how the light doesn't fit a standard 55 Gal aquarium. It's a little long, which I don't understand because the 2 hood parts it rests on fit perfectly. So it's kind of annoying to see the light coming out from the ends instead of it all going into the tank itself.
