I have a dual-socket fixture in my 58 gallon bowfron Penn Plax aquarium. I use one of these bulbs along with an 18000 Kelvin (blue wavelength) spectrum bulb. This combination gives great illumination with a pleasing color balance. Using just the daylight spectrum by itself is rather dull in my opinion.

I had a smaller fish bowl for a pair of gold fish and needed a larger tank then after they grew. I found that the fish liked the toys and are happier swimming in a larger space. The fish also enjoyed looking out view of the zoom view as they ate fish food. After having this for a few weeks and trying to grow some plants I found out the bulbs on this are just not quite up to snuff . I dumped the bulbs in favor of 2x 6700k bulbs and saw a noticable improvment in plant growth . Plus the Red "rosetta" buld just gives off a not so bight red hue , so I suggest at least dumping the rosetta bulb and getting a 54 watt coralife 6700k available here on amazon , better yet 2x 6700k

I haven't set up the light yet because I can't! amazon sent me this product that had apparently been opened! A return or something I don't know. I'm upset with amazon for not making sure all the parts were included. The end where the legs were supposed to be was heavily taped making me think that in fact it was a returned package. Anyway I didn't want to give the product itself a bad review since I hadn't tried it yet. I called aqua life and they are sending me new legs at no cost to me kudos goes out to them for having great customer service...I hope the fixture itself doesn't let me down. Before I start the review I INSIST that for a betta, you need at least a gallon or more minimum. When doing the math for the volume of this tank the height included the stand so instead of 3 gallons I got 1.5. They should make the volume for their aquarium tanks much clearer.

I bought this airpump to use with my 10gallon quarantine/hospital tank and can honestly say it's super quiet. So quiet in fact that I can only hear the pump when my ear is about 3-5 inches from the unit. The unit is also extremely powerful. I have it connected to a Airtech Gang Valve 4 outlets running 2 separate lines. One connected to a 1" airstone and the second connected to a 12" bubble bar and with the gang valve fully open it's a hurricane inside the aquarium. Of course by adjusting the gang valve I can get the exact flow I want. Nice design, quiet and powerful. What more can you ask for in an aquarium airpump (NADA)? I would definitely recommend this pump to anyone wanting silent and powerful operation.
I bought each of my kids one of these tanks for their bettas. They love them. They can each pick which light setting they want. I was hoping the bettas would glow more, but that has nothing to do with the tank. I also bought a small filter for the tanks to keep them cleaner. Great tank for the price.

The aquarium I received is actually 1.8gal so that's a bit of a bonus, but in all other respects it's not worth nearly the list price (I was able to purchase it on sale). The undergravel filter keeps the water clean, though you should use gravel or decorations from a healthy, established tank when setting this up to ensure you have the proper bacteria started. After just a week of use, I noticed that screws in the hood had already begun to rust. Also, you can't use an automatic timer to turn the light on. Although I received a different aquarium than I ordered this one is fine. I was not sure about the different color lights. I prefer an aquarium with lights that actually heat the water. But overall it is a good product.
These have been used successfully as markers for various board games, with no issue. However, you really want to look over them carefully if not using them decoratively--one or two were broken and could have cut fingers had we not removed them. Still, this really shouldn't deter anyone from getting these lovely glass beads.

I never could get even bubble flow. there was always too many at the hook up and not enough at the end. but I was willing to overlook that because the lights alone were great. jump to less than a month after installation, I plug it in, and the lights flicker and die. I like the look of the LED lights, and the bubble wall, but I had a fish die already from this, as it got caught between the wand and the glass back of the tank. (My wand is suction cup'ed to the back wall.) The other fish seem to not have issue with it, so maybe it was the stupid fish of the group, maybe it was just hiding, i dunno.

Got this for my 29G tank and it works as described. It's much better than the "peel & stick" thermometers. Displays the time and temp. The alarm/alert can be turned if needed and the temp probe is plenty long. If you own an aquarium this is what you want to maintain the perfect temp. Also works great with water changes. You can get the "new" water the perfect temp BEFORE you add it to your tank.

This thermometer only displays the temp where the probe is, not room and water temp as their misleading claim. The temp alarms (2 not 4 as claimed) are preset to alert you if the temp drops below 75 or above 82 degrees, they claim it has 4 alerts which is not true . 75 degrees is max for my tank so alerts are useless. So be sure you can use it before you buy it. I bought 4 different types of digital thermometers and put all 4 in one tank with the probes side by side and all 4 have a different reading. In contrast to what I read in another review here before purchasing the thermometer, I found that the high and low temp alerts are preset to (if I remember right) 76 and 82 or so. This is not workable for me (I'm in Tucson and keep my house at 85 or so in the summer) so I returned it. Part of the description also talks about 4 alert features. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what this means. That each of the two alerts turns both on and off?
