This siphon kit is great. I've bought more expensive ones from the big box pet stores and they suck! I unpacked this one and it worked immediately. I am very happy with this purchase.

they recommend this for a 10-20 gallon tank but it's way too long for the 10 gallon. it's harder too maneuver and it sticks out the top of the water after a minute of siphoning. i felt like it wasn't able to get everything because it had such a long way to go up the tube that when the gravel was falling out, it pulled a lot of the poop back out with it. so if you have a 10 gallon tank, go with the mini, not the small.

otherwise, i think it works well for what it is and the price.

Aquavista 500 Wall Mounted Aquarium with Whitestone Background

Very easy to set up, just make sure you either know something about mounting and/or toggle bolts, or can get some help. Also, don't get any fish that are REALLY shy or HIDE, because there are crevasses that they can and/or will get caught in! I tried to put a small newt in mine, and I haven't seen him since!!

First, I would like to say that if you are considering buying this product, you should read this. I was very mislead by the youtube videos, and all the product reviews on this product. I have had this product for over 6 months. Let me explain to you, my story.

1. Purchased Product, Received Product fairly quick. Missing Mint Cloth, Screws & Hardware, also the entire lightning balast system /including bulb.

No problem? Just exchange it right? Wrong. 2nd Product Received with the same accessories missing plus a plastic part on the aquiarum cover/lid was broke off. And instead of the aquarium saying Aquavista (under where the frame goes, it said "china" embedded in the plastic.)

Hmm.. I think to myself.. This can't happen a third time can it? Why, Yes it can! It came from china. Same missing accessories: Screws & Hardware, cloth, lightning ballast system + bulb. Wow, Right off the bat someone would rate this a 1 star.. Not me, I'm willing to give it a shot!

I call Amazon, they told me to contact Aquavista. Aquavista Customer Service Support was very nice, they sent me Lightning Ballast + bulb that i had to install / + free filters.

After setting up this aquarium, i had bought my own pebbles / Rocks. ( this will become a nightmare as small rocks will fall in the filteration area and become stuck). I followed the manual, waited to put fish in tank.

I have had a horrible time with this tank, I have to clean this tank at least once every week otherwise the tank becomes filthy and fish start dying. I have had horrible, horrible experiences with this tank. Here's one to mention. One morning, GloTetra Disappeared. Hmm.. Where he go? Called aquavista. They told me to check behind the aquarium background. (was really fun trying to take this off after setting aquarium up.) Long story short, in the bottom right side of tank, theres a small hole (between black filter cover and background in corner of tank) where little fishies can get through. SO, Mr. Fish was stuck behind the tank. Long story short, becasue i had to bend background alittle to get fish on other side, small rocks fell between the plastic and background to where the picture would not fit the way it should. Had to take the entire tank apart, fake aquarium plants, small ship, fish, rocks.. everything. This was truely a nightmare. This didn't happen once, but three times. Once with a albino frog (didn't have to take the tank apart because he was easier to get) and also a neon tetra who is decaying in the bottom of the tank under the black filter. Oh yes, this causes disease and all fish will die, Except my Pleco + Frog. I have bought a water testing kit before all of this happened, and the ammoneia levels were extremely high. (50-100% water changes + cleaning of all objects/rocks) per week. To top things off? If you accidently overfill the aquarium with water (there is a meter) water will drip on your floor. But one time dripped on the right side instead of the left side. This caused the LCD touchpad + Screen to short out. Aquavista customer server was extremely nice, and sent me another one for me to replace. I paid $ 140 160 for this product and felt that I extremely over paid for cheap china plastic and poor quality. Poor Filtration in a 5.5 Gal = Death to all fish (cept pleco+frog or other high immune system species)

I would not have gotten this product if I would have known all of this could happen. It's truely a beautiful tank when it is lit up and turned on. Then the beautiful moment is ruined by fish who sink to the bottom of your tank lifeless and dead. Go to your local pet store to buy an aquarium worth spending this much money on.

Up Aqua Ceramic Bamboo Shelter, Large

I thought this would be a great addition to my pond and provide my small koi a place to hide. This is a small shelter.

I don't know what it is about it, but my fish won't swim into this. They swim around it but it sits unused. They prefer an old can and drainage pipe. I wouldn't recommend this product.

My CPO Crayfish love these... I'll find them climbing all over them and hiding in the tubes. One thing to note however, the tubes are glued in the form you see them, no way to change how they are formed.

I have the Rapids Pro Series Wet/Dry Filter Systemfor my 100-gallon salt water aquarium. It has 2 pumps, and this one is the bigger pump. The smaller protein skimmer pump is the one I needed. Unfortunately, no one, not even Amazon, sells the protein skimmer pump. (they have protein skimmer pumps, just not the one that goes in the Rapids pro. Fortunately, I took the Venturi apart and cleaned it out, and now it works like new. I also have the Autofill system, which is great if I'm going to be out of town for more than a few days.

Only problem is that it's a hair short for my aqueon 26 bow. If you put it on and it moves to one side the other falls off the edge.

It maybe my tank which measures 23 1/2 " on the inside diameter. Will adapt.

This top is so much better looking then the hood that came with my 26 gal bow front. Adds a whole new dimension to my aquarium as the top can now be seen through compared to the black plastic hood I had. It'd be nice if the top was more snug in the aquarium frame, but it's large enough that there's no way it can fall through. I'd recommend this top, especially if you have an Aqueon bow front as there are few options for hoods/tops for these aquariums. Love my bow front, even more now with the Versa Top!

I have a bowfront aquarium that was given to me a few years back, so I don't know the brand or details. the lid I got with it broke, and turns out these lids are a little hard to come by, at least where I live. So this looked like a good replacement for us, the size (width) is correct, however when it arrived it didn't fit correctly.

The front is much more curved than my tank, and front-to-back there is a small gap, probably 1/2" So essentially I have 2 gaps at the front corners because the curve on my tank is less pronounced that this lid. Not the end of the world, however my tank is now losing much more water due to evaporation than ever before. Sort of a pain, but we will just deal with it. We figured hey, it's already at our house, and the chances of finding the exact size/shape lid that our tank requires was probably going to be next to impossible. So bottom line, it's only acceptable (for us) because of a lack of anything else.

But it really does seem like a good quality product, and was shipped fast.

Fits perfectly on my Aqueon tank. Install took only a few minutes. As always with these tanks it it a little tough to cut out where the filter goes, but not a big deal. Just make sure you put the pull for the front lid up far enough. I put mine too far back and it makes it a little awkward.

Aqua Ultraviolet AAV30044 Transformer for Aquarium, 40-watt, Black

This is the 3rd. one I had to replace do to water leaking into the the unit. The cord grip seals at the cord but around the outside where the cord enters the transformer it allows water to get in. The transformer is potted with a black tar mixture, but it is poorly done and water gets into the electronics and shorts it out. At about $100.00 each this becomes expensive. Buying just the raw transformer means you have to make some kind of container to put it in. Since this option still costs about $65 you don't save very much. If I could buy the raw transformer for around $20 (which is all it should cost), then it would pay to make a container to put it in. For five years I've been using an old Gamma transformer by Current USA but it seems that it is no longer made.

I do like this 40W Replacement Transformer as it is easy to replace existing bad-order transformers such as my 120W Aqua UV system which contained a three wire system that went from my lamp holder containing three 40W lamps up to the 120W transformer box. I have replaced the 120W transformer twice, replaced the wiring harness twice in the previous 20 years then decided on going the single 40W transformer route which was about six years ago. I had the 120W Aqua UV system since 1984. I also have a small pond containing a 40W Aqua UV system that I also use this type of a transformer which gave me the idea of using the single 40W replacement transformer.

I used to have four transformers that were connected to one spider shaped configuration that would tear at its plastic encasings (exposed wires) and was a pain in the neck to loosen and take off to clean the quartz sleeves and UV lights. This configuration where each transformer is independently plugged into the power source and separated from an attachment that connected all to one power source makes it simple to disconnect and it is "cleaner" looking cosmetically. If one transformer goes down you can replace it and not worry how the others are affected by its performance since they are all plugged into power source separately. I would highly recommend this product for your pond needs. I bought a large metal fuse box to enclose all of them to protect them from weather elements although they are made weather-proof already, I wanted to consolidate the tidiness of the cords. Recently purchased this LED light and it doesn't work. I guess I got lucky to find out that this light is low quality will still under warranty. When researching this light before purchasing it there is no mention anywhere at any website including the manufactures of how many watts this light has. There is a reason for this, it's only 28 watts. There is no way 28 watts can be enough for corals.

Wall Mount Hanging Beta Fish Bubble Aquarium Bowl Tank

I had actually bought this as a replacement for our old wall mount betta bowl. My Husband had made the mistake of using an abrasive cleaning pad on the old ones surface and scratched it heavily. So my recommendation is to only wipe it with a damp cloth if it needs cleaning.

But other than that it looks FABULOUS, a lot of people have admired it whenever they've seen it on our wall. It's mounts well on the wall (if mounted properly) and our little guy loves his little "high rise" home :D

I wouldn't recommend removing it from the wall to replace the water, use a siphoning pipe and bucket instead to remove most of the water and then replacing it with fresh water.

I've had this bowl for about 6 months now and my beta is doing great! I get a ton of compliments when people walk in the front door and find a fish bowl hanging on the wall in front of them! Everyone says "Hey, that's really cool!" It is fairly hard to clean and refill the bowl since there's no way to set it flat but other than that I would definitely recommend.

Doesn't come with a bolt to attach it to the wall. I had to find a washer to fit it. Beta fish seems to be doing fine in it, but it is hard to find plants that are the right size to work well in it. I never take it off of the wall. To clean it I siphon off the water into a bucket, well worth the 60 cent hose from the hardware store. When it is full of water, it is heavy so I do NOT suggest removing it from the wall unless it is your only option.

Alright, first off, this betta bowl is WAY TOO SMALL.

Bettas should have AT LEAST one gallon of water to live in... and that's if you want to bother with weekly water changes. It also has no lid, meaning your son/daughter's cute little betta friend might end up abandoning ship-just imagine what you're going to have to go through with THAT mess. Also there is no heater! Bettas are TROPICAL FISH. Meaning you need to keep them at about 76-78 degrees in order for them to live a long and happy life.

And that long, happy life is somewhere in the vicinity of about 10 or more years.

I would give any betta in this thing a month. Tops.

My advice?

Go and get a nice 6.6 gallon bookshelf aquarium or a 10 gallon tetra LED system. Get a nice heater for it, really have fun decorating the tank and have your kid pick out the decor and gravel colors. Make a day of it! Then, along with the betta, add some community species of fish like platies to the tank. (Yes, bettas CAN live with other fish! Just not other bettas!)

You're going to have a happier betta, a happier child and a long and rewarding hobby for your whole family.

Cal Pump SPW10 1200GPH Max Flow Rate Spillway, 10-Inch

The Cal Pump SPW10 Spillway works good with a good flow rate and pushes the water out about a foot. I installed a small pond with a preformed triangle liner about a 100 gal. I needed a small spillway less than 12" to fit in. This works great where I wanted to put it. I used the 1" connector supplied and used 1" corrugated tubing I purchased locally.

The problem was with the filter. It was cut short slightly on the sides and wouldn't stay in it's slot. The water would push it forward to the opening and tend to rise and eventually come out. To correct this, I bought a piece of Matala black filter media and cut it so it is snug in the spillway. The supplied filter was more dense so I also used it behind the Matala. Now, they stay where they should. It it been about 3 weeks now and all is working great.
