This is very pretty; howver, it is not yellow like I thought the picture was portraining.
The seller, uxcell, was great, but the product isn't worth the bother. The plant will not remain buried in the gravel of the aquarium because the force of the bubbles is too strong.
Great light. Been a saltwater enthusiast for years and pleasantly surprised by the light for the price. It offers both blue and white lights that are on separate switches so you can adjust the strength. Very bright when both are on full strength. We hung the light above our 30 gallon cube. Wow! What a difference. Highly recommend this light
I just got this in the mail and put it in my tank it was a breeze to install, and not unattractive. There are clear directions on the back of the box. I was a little anxious because of bad reviews, but I gave it a shot and I am happy I did! Now my Bettas are happy and healthy! If you have aggressive, injured, or baby fish, I would highly suggest this product!
I had trouble finding a hooded light system for my 5.5 gallon tank that wasn't going to be a cheap product with weak lighting, and i didn't want to have to just get a clear cover and then set a light over it. This hood works perfectly for what i wanted. The lighting is great, and makes the tank look awesome. the switch is covered so it doesn't get wet and the light instantly comes on when you flip it. Also doesn't get very hot when left on for several hours.
These are very cute and small, lead sinker could be a bit lower so the fish aren't all sitting so close to the gravel. And I don't know why but the snails are all over all of these decorations--not sure if that's good or not. But don't want to get any live fish until we figure out how to kill off these Malaysian Trumpet snails so these fake fish will make the tank look inhabited for a while.
The physical replacement was easy, but there is an internal O-Ring that I couldn't find a replacement, and the unit leaked.
Works but not that well. Set it up to feed a 33 gallon long marine aquarium for a week while I was on vacation. I do like the way the drum rotates completely all the way around at once to dump food, some feeders use a slow turning of a drum to time the addition of food. Setup of the timer is just more complex than it should be. I used the included Velcro to mount the feeder to the top of a wood canopy where the flakes were to fall into a section I cut out for the hang-on-tank protein skimmer to fit in. Upon pulling the drum off to add flakes the plastic backing of the drum pulled out and bent(not good)although I was able to get it almost back into position when I put the drum back on. Also, when I returned the feeder had leaned over off the Velcro so that it was out of optimal position and the flakes weren't falling as they should. My fish lived but I wouldn't trust it again.

My wife and I are big fish lovers and also like to travel, weather permitting. We have three aquariums in our home. A 30 gal, a 20 gal, and a 10 gal fry tank. I work 5 days a week and come weekends we are out of here. Purchased a $40.00 auto feeder from a local Pet supply store and it worked for 20 minutes and quit. They replaced it and the same thing happened so we got our money back and purchased the AquaChef to feed the 30 gallon tank. Set it up and let it feed the fish in the 30 gallon tank for several days to see how it worked. Its hell to program if you don't read the instructions. If you go thru them once step by step and it rather simple. My 12 year old granddaughter programmed it in about 5 minutes the first time but did not understand military time so had it feeding at the wrong time but working very well. I helped her with the time setting and it began feeding flawlessly. With the exception of the fry tank, they all will have one of these on it. Don't let the instructions scare you, my granddaughter didn't. Going to purchase several more by my aquariums and my daughters. I bought the Aquachef before going away on a vacation, as most people do. Some things I first noticed; programming is a bit ambiguous, but I figured it out; the device feels like it's going to break when you pull the drum off to fill it (there's no release, you just pull it), and the supply door is just a bent plastic fold, not really a door (mine is already starting to break), and the "clamp" was too narrow to get over either of my tank rims (they are regular plastic frames), I had to cut off the screw clamp and rely on the velcro to hold it on, it leans at an angle with the velcro barely holding it in place.Want Current USA AquaChef Aquarium Automatic Fish Feeder Discount?
I purchased this feeder so my fish would not go hungry while I was on vacation. The time and the feedings are set using a 24h clock, so it's pretty hard to mess up. I did a trial run and everything seemed to be working fine. When I got back from vacation, my fish were not looking so hot. I fed them and they ate voraciously which got me wondering if the feeder was actually working. So I set my iphone alarm for 10:00 am and watched the feeder to see if it was dispensing food. Nothing. Then I set it for 11:00 am, and watched. Still nothing. So somewhere during the time I was gone, this feeder just quit working. Batteries are fine, clock is set right and so is the feeding time.
I forgot what a difference this make in my 29 gallon nano-reef. A week after putting it back in my system after months without, my corals started flourishing again. I will not make that mistake again!
Filter arrived in two days and was a breeze to set up. Note: must let canister fill with water before priming. Have three turtles in a 150 gal tank and water has been clear since setting up filter (which is quite an accomplishment with turtles!). Definitely recommend this filter.

The battery powered water changing pump, really hard to search for. They used to sell this kind of stuff in pet stores. Now you can barely find it on line. Its great, works well. Its a bit expensive and it shipped from Hong Kong. Which took two weeks. I want to get another one just because I have a 75 gal fish tank so it takes longer to empty. Keep in.mind when you her toward the last inch of water you'll have to use a bucket to get the last of it. Gravity is your enemy there.
It will stay together on 2" acrylic but doesn't have the pull to wipe the algae from the window.
These filters are exactly the size I needed for my fish tank. I'm truly puzzled as to why my local Petco doesn't carry these since they sell the fish tank.
this item looks good in my fish tank. i like the anchor it has. it stays in place. my loaches like to hang out in it at night when they come out of hiding. i will buy another soon. its good quality. to fluff it out i soaked it in hot tap water to let lose the flatting it got from shipping and handling
I prefer this kind of filter,over the ones you have to buy the pads for. These dont require replacing charcoal every changing and also all you need to buy is a bag of cotton floss and a box of charcoal. Sometimes they tend to float, but I put some aquarium marbles in the bottom with the charcoal...problem solved.They both last a long time and together may cost about 10.00. When purchasing the filter pads they cost way over that amount and dont last nearly as long before having to buy more. More economical if you want to save money by buying these corner filters,floss, and charcoal...total maybe 15.00 (at least thats what I paid). Compared to buying a more popular filter that uses the replacement pads. The filtering system alone would cost that much if not more and then you still have to buy the filter pads, which are expensive. Your choice...but I prefer the economical way. They do a fabulous job in keeping the tank clean too.

I needed to replace my 25 year old corner filter when it got damaged during a move. This one is made of plastic so thin that the bottom cracked when I pushed the filter pedestal into the gravel. The "grips" that are positioned to hold the air stone tubing in place do not have a central opening large enough to accommodate the tubing. If you try to press the air tubing into the center of the riser tube the prongs will break off. As a consequence the air stone floats out of the riser and the filter is useless. I have 2 of these filters for a 29 gallon and they keep the water clear. I used Seachem Denitrate as well as filter floss and I have had no problems with water quality. The plastic seems a bit flimsy, as mentioned in the other reviews, but with a little care I have managed to avoid any cracks or damage.Want Lee's Triple-Flow Corner Filter, Small Discount?
