biOrb Easy Plant - 2 Pack Large

biOrb Easy Plant - 2 Pack LargeI love this brand and type of plant for my aquarium. Our local pet store only carries the small and medium, so when I found the large online I ordered immediatly. They are the best and I will continue to purchase this brand.

However, with in 2 hrs of having the plants in the tank our pleco became entangled in the grass like plant (it is made poorly and left with jagged edges) and cut up his fins very badly. The wider leaf plant is perfect though.

They were a little bigger than I had anticipated but can be cut down to proper size, which I'm fine with.

To me, they looked like they were supposed to be a neon green, which was what I was looking for. They turned out a typical green color.

Other than color, they're nice.

I put them in my regular (not biOrb) 30 gal tank and they look beautiful against my white gravel and blue background. They are definitely brighter than regular plastic plants. The heavy weights at the bottom are an amazing innovation, just dropped them in and nothing floats back up! But I still had to get into the water to cover them with the gravel though. They are long enough to reach almost top of the water, my tank is about 20 inches in height. Absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Having gone thru a ton of different plants. I think I like this base the best. Just right. The plastic ones come apart, the stone bases which cost ALOT more haven't held up either.. and are too big to keep hid. I think these are going to work. Like the smaller size for hiding. And the price is dropping. What's not to like ???

One plant has long, skinny leaves that resemble long grass.

One plant has long, broader leaves that are about 3/4" wide.

These plants are long enough to go all the way to the top of the BiUbe, slightly poking out of the water.

It really looks nice to include one set of Large plants in the BiUbe along with smaller plants.

I placed the plant that resembles grass underneath the feeding hole.

When I drop floating food pellets in the feeding hole, they stick to the grass and my fish seem to enjoy eating the pellets off the grass...but who knows?...
