We love this tankeasy on the eyes...fish seem happy too! But5 days post the return date the light fixture broke. Called PETCO to see if we could get a new fixture and was told too badreturn date had passed and we were given 3 phone numbers to callnon of which answered the phone. Long story shortthis is a $60 replacement hood and that is a rip off seeing that we spent $135 for the tank and hood.....so we are trying to solution it ourselves. Be warnedif you buy this tankbe sure the fixture works wellwatch it closely...and return it asap...ours broke 5 days too late!
This tank is very pleasing to look at with the rounded corners and no rim at the top. The holes at the top are plenty large enough to get the decorations I wanted in there. The acrylic is nice and light (and durable). the front, however is bowed out from the water pressure I guess. So when you are standing right in front of it looking in, it's like wearing prescrption glasses that are no yours it hurts your eyes. I wish I had taken it back to the big box retailer that I bought it from before the return time expired. Funny too that the website of the store I purchased it from (these ship from there), won't let me write a bad review and this tank is highly rated there. Interesting.
