I had purchased an aquarium water testing kit and found that my pH levels were very high, so I got this to bring things closer to neutral. I followed the instructions, and within a week, the levels were right where they were supposed to be. Since treating my tank with the conditioner, I haven't lost any fish, and algae growth seems to have all but stopped. I'll be buying more once I run out.
