The good part is that it was easy to attach. The trick was using a spray mister and spraying water on it before smoothening it out using a credit card. Some bubbles in the plastic but not much. A big plus is that I did not have to use tape or any adhesive. No sticky stuff on the tank. It is made of rather thick plastic so it should last a long time without ripping or pealing off.
Overall I am happy with this item. It is well made, easy to apply, and I like the blue color (just wish the design showed more.)The image is really striking, and installation was fairly easy, considering it went on an already-full 36 gallon tank on a corner stand. But! Let me warn you, gentle reader, as the material is a static-cling vinyl film, if you live in a house with cats it is im-fricking-possible to apply without one or two cat hairs trapped between the film and the glass, where they appear (from the viewing side of the aquarium) to be eels, drawn in black Sharpie by a spastic 3-year-old. Best installed on an empty aquarium in some sort of particle-free surgical clean room.
