Tank info: 15g column, Walstad setup, Co2 injection, fully planted, HOB filter, 10" Rayfuge light.Fits perfectly on my 12" Marineland 2.5 gal. Very light-weight but a sturdy feel to it. Attaching the two legs was easy. You can slide them in or outwards to accommodate the tank rims.
There's a separate switch for the LED and moonlight on the sides. I wasn't interested in the moon lights but it looks very nice. LEDs are super bright, plants are growing like crazy!

I got this lamp as a replacement for my standard light fixture on a 29g tank because I wanted to be able to grow alive plants. I have only had it for 2 weeks now and I can't say anything about the long term success, but the light levels are definitely sufficient to be called low-moderate lighting, where with the standard fixture the tank was a very low light. The option to turn on/off the blue and white LEDs separately is great. I only use the white ones during the day and sometimes I turn on the blue ones at night. They are both connected to the same plugin though, so you can't use different timers for the two LED types, which is not a big deal for me but might be important to other users.
Overall I am really satisfied with this light. It is bright enough for my purposes, energy efficient and comes at a fair price.

Nice light. Replaced a dual T8 fixture and this offers more light. Very slim, nice light color, lower energy. Really impressed.Want Finnex FugeRay Aquarium LED Light Plus Moonlights Discount?
This light is 24" long and fits perfectly over my 20 gal. fish tank. The light is a pleasing 'daylight' color and my plants have responded positively to it. The LEDs run cool and are 'instant-on'. I have not used the moonlight feature (which is just a few blue-purple LEDs) that can be switched on separately or together with the main lights. Since I have this light on a timer, I don't bother with manually switching the moonlight lights on and off -I just leave them off.I think anything deeper than a 20 gal. tank might need a stronger light though, like their AL-H24DS: Finnex RAY II High Output Unibody Ultra Slim LED Fixture 24" Daylight. But this one suits my needs without creating a lot of algae growth. I think in the future, all of my tank lighting will be LEDs.
