Update after using for 18 months: This product works well at first then can develop pin-hole leaks in random places. It's easy to work with due to its high flexibility but difficult to seal with clamps due to the spiral reinforcement. That said, with enough fiddling you can cure the clamping problem but no amount of tweaking can stop the leaks from developing. I kept cutting out leaking parts but now I'll replace with vinyl tubing. I gave this product 5 stars 18 months ago and it's fine if you don't mind the constant maintenance. This is the exact same brand-name product you can buy in a store--same quality but about half the price at good old Amazon.Flexibility is key for this product along with price. Both offer an excellent value, pleased with my purchase. Thank you!I received 1 inch tubing twice from Amazon (original order and a replacement). The tubing is only 1 inch ID and is incorrectly labelled as 1 1/4 inch ID.Bought this to go with a Total pond pump and it works well enough and is sturdy. My only complain is that it tends to come off the pump without some type of clamp to secure it.I read the reviews before I ordered it and thought it can't be that bad! Well it is!! I have had the tubing for 3 weeks and it already has the pin hole leaks in it. Never again.
