So this led light differs from the white version only by the swapping out of every other light with a pinkish one. It definately brightened my aquarium and my hood still has room for one more. Great price!

i'm not altogether positive it's helping my tank. i have a 55 gallon planted aquarium with this bulb and two of the regular light ones. i hoped it would be brighter, but it does light the tank well. i read other reviews where people had significant plant growth, but my amazon swords arent showing much sign of growth.

I have two of these in my 60 gallon my lowlight plants are growing good and there super bright. Leaves a little red glimmer and the lights are in glass tubes becareful when handling I already broke one. Other than that better alternative to expensive marineland. Not sure if they will work with high light plants
