Bought this bulb as a replacement for my BiOrb aquarium. I ordered/paid for a 10 watt ---BIORB--blub (as advertised)and received some cheap knock-off brand ((((12 Watt)))) blub. If you can find a different dealer I would HIGHLY recommend doing so. What is advertised in the display pic is not what you receive. I would consider it FALSE ADVERTISING...

This was not a biorb brand light, it is the same specs from CHINA. I believe the spectrum is different as well. Avoid this seller if you can find the real deal.

My wife wasn't backing out the screws that hold the prongs in and was burning them up. I just put one in and it works great.

Why in the name of whatever did they to with DC light source? Why is their product so expensive? Why did my supervisor decide this was a good choice? Dunno any the answers, but this will replace a burned out bulb on thier silly fish tanks. If they were honest, they would offer a LED upgrade for under $5.
