Aquatop GH75 Aquarium Submersible Glass Heater, 75-Watt

I bought two of these and one of them works GREAT!! The other was put into my 55 gallon tank but can barely keep it to the correct temperature. There are visible burn marks on the inside of the thermometer after only 3 days of use. My suggestion is to use this in smaller tanks or to buy two of them if you are planning on using them in anything bigger than 25 gallons.

For the price this heater does the job. I like the temp control. You can tweek the temp up and down with a slight turn. Does not say shatter proof glass.

This heater is working wonders in my 15h. It heats well and consistently -I have two thermometers and they confirm that the water temperature is right where it needs to be. It's easily adjustable by a turn knob on the top which can be kept above the water line so you can always get to it. My fish are very happy and healthy. =]
