Fish Mate 1200GUV Gravity UV+Bio Pond Filter
Fish Bubble
Mine did not leak. It's cheap feeling, but not cheap looking. Put the screw into a stud if you can because it is really heavy! I only filled it a little less than half way because that's all I need. You don't have to unscrew it every time you take it down if you use a screw head small enough. If you can't, you can just tilt the bowl to pour the water out without removing the screw.
But it would make a hell of a lot more sense if they used a proper screw hole that had an easy easy way to slide the bowl up and off the screw. So, stars off for that.

I saw this, fell in love with it, and bought it, thinking I would finally cave and buy my son a betta. However, as I always do, I began to research betta needs and how to care for one. By the way, I cannot understate the importance of doing this before you purchase any pet. The consensus on betta care from enthusiasts and professionals (and I don't mean part time clerks at PetCo) alike, is that they need at a BARE MINIMUM 2.5 gallons to be comfortable. Most say 5 gallons or better is the safer bet, and people that really love their fish go for a 10 gal.If you get something like this, you need to change the water at least twice a week and carefully monitor ammonia levels, because in something this tiny, ammonia and nitrite levels are sure to skyrocket, and FAST. In a tiny "tank" like this, you can't use a heater (bettas are tropical and require water around 80* to stay healthy) or a filter. Forget plants, because they will take even more of your fish's precious space! If you want to have a fish and keep it for any real length of time, I cannot recommend enough that you get your fish a larger container, and a heater!
Now I'm stuck here with this little bubble, totally unsure of what to do with it. I guess I could stick some aquatic plants in it? Maybe a couple of ghost shrimp? Half a gallon is really too small to keep any fish, of any kind, because anything small enough (guppies, tetras) are schooling fish and a group of them would need more water than this.
I recommend that you DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, unless you plan on using it for something like a ghost shrimp or two and maybe an aquatic plant. I wish I had done my research before purchasing this, and hope I can save someone the same headache. We now have two of these and are looking for a couple more for various rooms and gifts. Friends love them and are intrigued. Very sturdy and well built!

This heater is working wonders in my 15h. It heats well and consistently -I have two thermometers and they confirm that the water temperature is right where it needs to be. It's easily adjustable by a turn knob on the top which can be kept above the water line so you can always get to it. My fish are very happy and healthy. =]Read Best Reviews of Aquatop GH75 Aquarium Submersible Glass Heater, 75-Watt Here

I have a lot of experience with filters and fish. I usually use a canister filter system but this time I had a small (20gallon) fish tank so I decided to just use a Hang-on-tank filter. I went through about 4 of the crappy filters with the spinning wheel and where you load cartidges from the top. They are horrible and costly. This filter works perfect and is a true (small version) canister filter. You can setup your own media the way you like it. Buy this and do research on how to properly setup media in a canister filter and you will never have a dirty tank. Of course, make sure you are using it with the right size tankRead Best Reviews of Aquatop Red Devil Hang-On Canister Filter RD-30G Here
I got this filter quicker than it said it would arrive. It came with everything, no need to buy any filter media. I am using it on a 15 gallon nano reef and it has been working very well. It is easy to use and set up, unlike other canister filters. It is a great price too. I would recommend to others looking for a nice and efficient filter.Want Aquatop Red Devil Hang-On Canister Filter RD-30G Discount?
You have fish you need this in your aquarium. I fought with cleaner water for weeks until i got this filter. You need one also.AQUARIUS AQ1224 Aquarium LED Light Strip - Expandable 18 to 24, 91 LED Lamps
Some basic info:
91 3-5mm LED bulbs, 49 White, 42 Blue, placed in a look-alike T8 fluorescent tube
Worldwide voltage, regulated PSU @ 24V
Total power consumption @ 5W
Simple (outdated) non-regulated LED circuit 7 LEDs in a group with a 180ohm resistor
LEDs rated for ~30,000 hours
First light:
Came without a PSU. Returned it for another one.
Second light:
Complete package. Worked well for 3 weeks @ 12 hours a day till one of the group of 7LEDS went dead.
Third light:
Brand new, it was obviously brighter compared to my 2nd light. I wasn't sure whether it was because of the fault in the 2nd light but time will tell.
Two months into usage of the lights.
I am absolutely certain that the light output is decreasing. The third light is no longer as bright as before, now it is just dim. Needless to say for the second light, dimmer.
To summarises:
Unreliable; Not bright at all; Expensive for what it is
Seriously, just stick with fluorescent lights till LEDs have their reliability proved.
There is no way this LED light will achieve 30,000 rated hours at the rate it is getting dim. Actually, LED lights have a rating which states how long they will sustain the bright before decreasing in output. The last time I checked, most LEDs are rated 3000hours only.
Most fluorescent lights at rated for 10,000 hours and they have a relatively constant light output.

Fluval Suction Cups, (4) 4x12 mm and clips, (8) 4x14 mm (03, 04 and 05 Series)
They've been in a fresh water tank now for several years (holding a Fluval E electronic heater on a side wall) and they seem as good as the day they first went in!
They're not "deteriorating"........when I need to slide the heater along the glass it "breaks loose" easily and slides while the cups retain their suction, etc.
I'll be happy when I have an extra set, sometimes it's the "little things" that are really important.
I really wouldn't want any other brand, etc., this Company REALLY knows aquarium equipment. They work well, do not seem like they are going to get hard and stop working like so many others.

this suction cups are horrible they don't hold much and when they hold they fall easely, won't recommended for any one.I'm still searching for the holy grail of suction cups. These work okay but still get detached somewhat frequently. Admittedly they are for a turtle tank so they're not necessarily "untouched".Pretty good though for my Fluval 406 hoses, though.

I purchased this item a while ago but I finally got around to installing them a few days ago. These suction cups seem to work pretty good but only time will tell if they're worth the money. I hope they don't get all hard like the cheap kind. I suppose I'll post an update in about a year or a little less and let you guys know how they're doing. I like everything about them except for the clips which could be of a slightly greater diameter but whatever.Jardin Plastic Aquarium Tank Flower Beautify Fish Plant Décor, Green

Take Care!
~KristiFits my filter very well. I'm going to give it some time to see how well it cleans. I've been using a "sock" filled with carbon. This one feels better and seems to expose more surface area to the water. I had to rinse it very well before the water would run clear. Lots of carbon dust in this. The price might be more than I want to pay compared to my aquarium sock, but, we'll see. This really is super convenient.

this really cleared up my fish tank which tends to get a brown tinge to it. My only issue (which isn't a big one) is that when you rinse it off the water turns black and this doesn't go away that's just how it is and i feel like that'll be leaking into the tank itself (which isn't to big of a deal since the water goes through it anyway) but it kept my tank clear for about a month maybe a little longer and now it needs a change.... overall a good product.Read Best Reviews of API Super Activated Carbon Pouch Size 6 Here
