HQRP Blue + White Aquarium Reef Corals Grow LED Light Panel 13.8W 150 White + 70 Blue LED 7000K / 4
Thanks! The unit is very cheapily made. After only about 1 month of use many of the LEDS went out. The LEDs used are way to weak to "grow" corals as the seller claims. I would avoid this product.I would never try this on my reef tank as there is no way it's powerful enough to supplement the light needed for coral growth. I used it on my freshwater tank for a while with no splash and one line of blue went out. The plants seem to like it but it looks more blue than white which is also a bummer.from some 1 that knows
for 14 watts this thing is great using it on a saltwater tank i would give it a 9 out of 10
the only bad thing is that i think it could be a bit more water tight keep in mind that im using it on a aquarium and not as a plant lite
i used in the past
LEDwholesalers High Power WHITE + BLUE LED Aquarium Reef corals grow light. 250 watt not as bright but very close and its 14watt
and no loud fan
Marineland ML Double Bright LED Light and Aqua Medic Metal Halide + T5 Ocean Light Fixture
on a 225 gal aquarium i now use 2 of the HQRP Blue + White Aquarium Reef Corals Grow LED Light Panel 13.8W 150 White + 70 Blue LED 7000K / 460 nm + UV Tester
and
1 Full Spectrum Light Bulb ALZO 85 watt CFL 5500K daylight balanced pure white light 4250 Lumens for power ..In a 5 gal bucket
for a tot of 113 watts i was using well over 1200 watts and now so far this is much betteri have this on a refugium running 8 hrs a day, they are low output LED's so don't expect it to blind you or bleach coral. my only complaint is the one they sent me is 50/50 blue to white. i'd put the color spectrum around 16k

Tetra Decorative Reptile Filter for Aquariums up to 55 Gallons
Had it going on a month now and the water is still crystal clear with only one filter change.
If you shut it off and then turn back on the flow is immediate (no priming).
The filters are a breeze to change.
I have it set up in a 20 gallon long Terrarium (1/2 water 1/2 land) with four Fire belly Toads. Before that I had two small Turtles in it (since moved to a larger aquarium) and the water stayed cleaner than using my Cascade 100 Power Filter!
For replacement filters order the Tetra 26160 Whisper Bio-Bag Cartridge, Unassembled, Medium, 12-Pack they are way less expensive and you can reuse the plastic frames from the filters that come with it.I have had this filter for about three months in one end of a standard 10 gallon aquarium, which houses a small newt. It's a nice way to hide the filter away, and to keep delicate amphibians out of trouble, as they have a tendency to explore the insides of dark places like filter housings.
It provides some dry land area, with an easy climb out of the water. It is also much taller than other in-tank filters that I have tried, so the water level can be deep enough for the health of aquatic animals like my newt.
It takes two standard sized filter cartridges, which are used by many other filters, so they are relatively cheap and easy to find. The top of the rock lifts away, allowing easy access to change the filter cartridges without the need to tear the habitat apart. It also has handy fill lines on the back side of the rock, which mark the high and low fill levels.
The top fits snugly over the waterfall outlet, so there is no danger of small animals getting into the filter and becoming injured. The largest gaps into the filter housing are the intake holes along the bottom of the rock, which are about 3/8" in diameter. It would be very easy to block them with mesh if you have smaller animals.
I am considering purchasing a second one for my firebellied toad habitat. I definitely recommend this filter. It was well thought out and is of good overall design and quality.

Works great. I have it in a 40 gallon tank with about 20 gal of water. The turtles seem to enjoy climbing on the rocky exterior of the filter. I was able to use the regular Tetra Whisper filter cartridges which are cheaper than the reptofilters with this filter.Read Best Reviews of Tetra Decorative Reptile Filter for Aquariums up to 55 Gallons Here
I was using a Fluvial filter for my turtle tank. It worked great, but had to be taken apart to clean each week, and was kinda a pain in the butt. My turtle liked the water that squirted out.I needed something easier to clean while I recovered from surgery, so tried this. The reviews had been mixed, but I bought one anyway.
Super easy to set up and looks really good. Its way easier to clean than my Fluvial. But....I can go longer between cleanings than I could with the Fluvial if I need to, but the water is never as crystal clear as the Fluvial it was the first few days after I cleaned it.
It got me through recovery, but my turtle misses the jet of water squirting her. I do love the ease of changing the filters. So I am giving it an okey rating. Not great, not terrible. Maybe it would be better for a smaller turtle. My res is pretty big.

I recently bought this filter for my 40 gallon tank. It looks very nice in the corner of the tank. My turtle often swims over and sits near it, resting her legs on the side of it. The filter is very quiet, I do not hear it at all. The water fall lets off a tranquil sound of running water. Friends and family have commented on how nice it looks in my tank and how they love the sound of the running water.I gave this filter 4 out of 5 stars because I do have a problem with cloudy water. I change the water in my tank once a week. My cloudy water problem though could be a result of my turtles food, not the filter. I am currently working on correcting this problem.
Overall, I am glad I bought this filter and would recommend it to others!
ViaAqua 12in 2.7 watt Blue & White LED Light & Airstone
Or my fish could dislodge them easily with a single nudge. That's not the case here. The ViaAqua units are quite heavy and the large, powerful suction cups are attached to moveable, braces that wrap around 3/4 of the wand. The end result is they stay put beautifully. Even my 8 inch Blue Oranda can't make them budge and THAT'S saying something.
I have two of the all blue in one 55 tank and decided to try two of the blue and white 12" wands in another. The effect is simply gorgeous.I run both wands with a Rena 400 air pump which is more than able to create a steady flow of beautiful and uniform bubbles. The pump has two outputs and each is fully adjustable so you can go from a delicate flow of bubbles to a full throttle air curtain.
More than simply a visually stunning and unique addition to your tank the aeration infuses your water with more much needed oxygen. One common annoyance with most of these double service air wands is that they clog easily and fairly often.A quick remedy is to gently run your finger or a blunt tool (I use the edge of a flat butter knife) along the rubber hose and this clears it out immediately and the full wall of bubbles bounces right back.
If you don't have an overhead LED lighting system these are a wonderful substitute at a fraction of the cost.Even if you do use an overhead system (I have the Marineland Double bright LED system) these wands still add a very beautiful and special look to your tank.I wasn't sure if I would like the white and blue, but it's fabulous. However, if you're looking to create a Lunar mode for your tank so you can observe your fish without disturbing their sleep/rest cycle then you'll want all blue LED bulbs.
ViaAqua makes these in many sizes from 4" to 24" and in array of colors including red, multi color and units with change colors so you're bound to find one that suits your fancy and will look marvelous in your aquarium. On precaution to take is know the size you need prior to purchasing these wands, If they sit too close to your intake, you'll end up with bubbles being sucked into the filter which creates a racket and can compromise your filters efficiency.
In my experience 1-2 inches from the intake is perfect. But depending on the GPH of your filter, you may find you can put them closer or need to keep the ends of the wands a bit further away.I have 8 of these wands and use two in each tank they work beautifully and again, the effect is smashing. The best price I've seen has been on Amazon, and the units have all arrived well packaged and delivered very quickly.
The come packaged with everything you need. Including some airline tubing, instructions, the plug in power transformer, more than enough cable wire and of course the wands themselves. This is a fabulous product which I would recommend to any hobbyist especially anyone looking to add a little pizzazz to their aquarium.I actually am using this just for the LED lights, I hooked up the air to it to make sure it works but I already have a bubble wall I use and love for the fine bubbles it produces. The LED's on this are bright without being obnoxiously bright, it lights up my dark Hex tank perfectly, I keep it on day and night as during the day it doesn't get all that bright in the room the tank is in and at night it casts a nice blue glow like moonlight for the fish, newts and plants in the tank..

I bought two of these LED air stones they are really well made and add a really nice touch to a tank. It also seems to have a calming effect on my fish for some reason, great overall product, these should be cheaper in my opinion but thats the only thing I have against these.Marina Betta Kit, Large

Well, I've heard success stories about bettas in small tanks, but after my last two I have to say... get a bigger tank. Treat the fish like an actual pet and get it what it deserves. I feel bad because I've had two fish die and now I realize why. I changed the water every week and fed them the best food. The problem is that bettas in bigger tanks have less ammonia and nitrites to deal with. A small betta in a small tank seems to do okay because they are hardy fish, but just wait. The first fish... ugh, I can't talk about what happened, it was gross. So I went all out for the second one. Bought the pre-conditioned Betta water, got a different tank because I wasn't sure the whatever it was that killed the last betta was completely dead, and picked out a young, healthy veil tail betta. It lived for eight months and died. Meanwhile, my boyfriend bought a betta THE SAME DAY, FROM THE SAME STORE that I got my first betta only he did not get this tank, he got a 3 gallon kritter keeper and a heater and some decor. He spent more than I did that day, but his fish is still alive. If they just made these tanks 2.5-5 gallons they'd be great! If they installed heaters in them they'd be perfect... but really people, just use this tank when you're changing the water in your real tank. Amazon has a great 5-gallon by aqueon. It even has a filter. Just baffle the filter and put a pre-filter sponge on it, add a heater and you'll be good to go. That's what I've done now. I god some black sand, large river rocks, an amazon sword, java moss, and some drift wood... my tank looks beautiful and my new betta LOVES it. I only have to change 20% of the water since I cycled the tank, and I have a ghost shrimp to help keep the sand clean AND some neon tetras with the betta. It's much more peaceful, but if you want decor, try a 3-gal vase with crystal rocks and some bamboo or a plant. As for heat, they are tropical fish and do best in warm water, but if you keep your house warm, then you should be fine without a heater.

I bought this tank because it was pretty and simple, and my son desperately wanted a Betta. That poor fish is visibly miserable. This tank is tiny. The lack of any filtration combined with such a small tank leads to cloudy water after only a few days, and even though bettas are dirty water fish, this is just sad.I'm giving in after only a few weeks and investing in an actual aquarium.
I would give this 0 stars if I could. They should be more honest when they sell these things and tell you that fish need more room than this.
(I did not buy this tank on Amazon, I bought it at our local Pet store.)

really poorly made. bad for the fish; bad for the quality of the material it's made out of; just bad bad badwould give zero stars if possible
had to replace my 3 gal tank due to an accident; bought this kit for temporary set-up while I waited for a new 5 gal tank to ship to me
yes I did all the right things about conditioning the water and changing only a portion of it as usual, etc, etc, etc
but terrible tiny size with no room for filter; betta stopped eating immediately
by day 4 it was barely moving; day 5 bye bye betta.
because you should only provide your betta a decent 3 gal+ tank: it is alive -an animal not decor

Jardin Aquarium Fish Tank Ponds Ceramic Air Stone Diffusers, 40mm Diameter
With a bit of pre-shipment product testing this product would be fine.... otherwise its an easy fix with a bit and a drill! Hope this helps and enjoy!I only use these diffusers. Believe me I've tried them all. I have a hydroponic garden and can't risk clogged air stones. These last forever and have a great effect on plants.... and fish I suppose!

This air stone really surprised me. I hooked this up to my rena air pump for my 50 gallon tank and omg, the fine bubble output was amazing! A couple of weeks later my fairly new tank suffered a bacterial bloom. Bacterial blooms consume tremendous amounts of oxygen from the water but this little diffuser stone ended up being a life saver. While I did water change after water change in an effort to save my poor gasphing fish from sure death this stone (with air pump turned up full blast) put out enough bubbles to replace the oxygen and get my fish through the night. Heavy water circulation and this air stone did the trick not one fish lost. Cute shape and size is just right too. Would highly recommend.Read Best Reviews of Jardin Aquarium Fish Tank Ponds Ceramic Air Stone Diffusers, 40mm Diameter Here
I bought this for a five gallon tank and I am so relieved I will be upgrading to a 20 gal soon, this is way too powerful for my tank. That's okay! I'm extremely satisfied with how powerful the stone is and how many bubbles it lets off.Want Jardin Aquarium Fish Tank Ponds Ceramic Air Stone Diffusers, 40mm Diameter Discount?
These air stones are the best I have ever found. They are expensive but in my opinion they are worth it. They are about the size of a quarter and have a good amount of weight to them. They stay in place in my fish tank and provide allot of bubbles. I have never had one clog up on me.All Glass Aquarium AAG29020 Versa Top, 20-Inch
As another reviewer mentioned the hood is 19.5" long, which means it will fit a standard 20" x 10" framed tank perfectly. This is much better than the plastic one my aquarium came with. It is lightweight, easy to clean, I have not noticed any water evaporation ever since I installed this, and I can customize the back where the filters, etc., are stored using only a scissor. I definitely recommend this for anyone to use.

This top works great. The back section is a little flexible if you're not using HOB filters and you can generally squeeze a couple power cables and an airline under the back.
