I have two of these totes,a large and a small.they are a great tank for fish, in my large one I have some tropical fish(3 blue gouramis,3 tinfoil barbs,and a plecostomus)they are living well in there.the large tank is 3 gallon,the medium is 2 gallons,the small is 1 gallon,and the mini is half of a gallon.for my small I have not yet purchased any fish but im thinking about putting a betta in it.
Got this light and it never work. I even bought a new light thinking it was the issue and the light bulb still didn't work. Ended up getting another bulb. Not worth sending back but lesson learned!

The ones I received were not at all as in the photo or as in the item description. They were all in one piece. The ring to fit around the heater did NOT have a gap, but rather was all one continuous ring with no way to enlarge or adjust the size and thus way too small to fit around my aquarium heater. They were totally useless to me. And I have a Eheim 100W heater, no larger than the average heater. I don't like to give negative reviews, but beware ordering these as you may get something totally different than what you expect that will not work for you. For my purposes they are absolute junk. Maybe I'll find some other use for them sometime, but they won't be holding my aquarium heater.

I am very pleased with this product. You cannot find a light like this for the price. My corals love the bright light. I hung it above my tank from a hook that only took a few minutes to install.
I read the only other review of this item about white fuzz growing on the wood, and thought, ehhh, how bad can it be? I soaked this wood for 3 days to get it to sink, still had to tie it to a rock. After 24 hours in my aquarium, I started to get the aforementioned white fuzz. It then grew into full on slime balls on the cut ends and a thick blanket of fuzzy goo all over the wood, especially in all indentions. I pulled it out, boiled it in a large pot for over 30 minutes. I thought, surely this will kill the white fuzz. As soon as i put it back in the aquarium, now it started to leach tannins...and the fuzz came back within 48 hours. So now I have yellow water and white fuzz. I gave up on this product and pulled it out of my tank. Now I have an algae bloom to treat. Finally, after 20+ days, this "hairy" ordeal is over, and so is my use for this product.

I recently bought this filter for my 40 gallon tank. It looks very nice in the corner of the tank. My turtle often swims over and sits near it, resting her legs on the side of it. The filter is very quiet, I do not hear it at all. The water fall lets off a tranquil sound of running water. Friends and family have commented on how nice it looks in my tank and how they love the sound of the running water.

I bought two of these LED air stones they are really well made and add a really nice touch to a tank. It also seems to have a calming effect on my fish for some reason, great overall product, these should be cheaper in my opinion but thats the only thing I have against these.
I just bought this betta kit. I realized after I got my betta that all of the plastic sides are reflective. He sees a perfect reflection of himself and becomes angry and agitated, as male bettas do when they see another betta. I think this was a poor design as he is continuously trying to scare off his reflection and seems very agitated. I will be buying a new container for him tomorrow. I am not impressed.

Well, I've heard success stories about bettas in small tanks, but after my last two I have to say... get a bigger tank. Treat the fish like an actual pet and get it what it deserves. I feel bad because I've had two fish die and now I realize why. I changed the water every week and fed them the best food. The problem is that bettas in bigger tanks have less ammonia and nitrites to deal with. A small betta in a small tank seems to do okay because they are hardy fish, but just wait. The first fish... ugh, I can't talk about what happened, it was gross. So I went all out for the second one. Bought the pre-conditioned Betta water, got a different tank because I wasn't sure the whatever it was that killed the last betta was completely dead, and picked out a young, healthy veil tail betta. It lived for eight months and died. Meanwhile, my boyfriend bought a betta THE SAME DAY, FROM THE SAME STORE that I got my first betta only he did not get this tank, he got a 3 gallon kritter keeper and a heater and some decor. This was needed for a replacement of the last one that stopped working. This part was nice to be able to purchase so didn't have to replace the whole filter unit.
Love this product although there may not be any quality control associated with their production... 2 out of the 4 stones I ordered did not come in working order. Although the issue was an extremely quick fix. The nipple attachments on these are glued on with an epoxy. Unfortunately, if the epoxy is not applied perfectly it can prevent the airflow from the nipple to the stone. If this happens to you... don't freak out its an EASY FIX! All you have to do is find a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the nipple and drill into the center of the stone for about a 1/4 inch past resistance and the stone will work perfectly.

This air stone really surprised me. I hooked this up to my rena air pump for my 50 gallon tank and omg, the fine bubble output was amazing! A couple of weeks later my fairly new tank suffered a bacterial bloom. Bacterial blooms consume tremendous amounts of oxygen from the water but this little diffuser stone ended up being a life saver. While I did water change after water change in an effort to save my poor gasphing fish from sure death this stone (with air pump turned up full blast) put out enough bubbles to replace the oxygen and get my fish through the night. Heavy water circulation and this air stone did the trick not one fish lost. Cute shape and size is just right too. These air stones are the best I have ever found. They are expensive but in my opinion they are worth it. They are about the size of a quarter and have a good amount of weight to them. They stay in place in my fish tank and provide allot of bubbles. I have never had one clog up on me.
Ok, just to set something straight, aquarium hoods ARE NOT measured by how many gallons the tank holds. Many reviewers are confusing this fact. Aquarium hoods are and always have been measured in inches. Just because it says 20 in the product description does NOT mean this will fit on a 20 gallon tank. It does however imply that the hood WILL fit on a tank that is 20" long. As all aquarium enthusiasts know, all 10, 20, 40, 55, etc etc tanks are not created equal. There are 20 gallon standard tanks, and then there are 20 gallon tall tanks, and of course the 20 gallon long tanks. This is true of pretty much all tanks where there are standard, tall, and long versions. I wont even get into the other variations such as bow-front and hex tanks, my point being is that yes the description of the product says 20, however 99.99% of the time that number will always refer to the length of the hood in inches and not the amount of gallons the tank holds.

This top works great. The back section is a little flexible if you're not using HOB filters and you can generally squeeze a couple power cables and an airline under the back. If you need to cut it, you can do that as well, but these are great, especially for the jumpers
this was too cheap, waste of money. The handle was too cheap and could not push on the glass. I pull of the green spong and use it with just my hand on the glass, works great now, no handle.

We have a relatively small outdoor fountain, maybe 5-7 gallon capacity. It runs 24/7 all year round (we live in AZ). The birds love it and the falling water provides a nice white noise in the background. I find that pumps last about 1-1/2 to 2 years under these conditions. When the last one quit, I went to one of the large home centers to get a replacement but they were sold out. I found this one here on Amazon it's now installed and working nicely. Because it is used outside and it recirculates the same water over and over, the thin slots covering the impeller collect leaves, grass, bird feathers, etc. This pump has very fine slots which are excellent at trapping debris. Once a week or so, I have to pull off the cover and clean the slots. Not a hard job, but removing the cover requires a knife blade or thin screwdriver to pry it off. A thumbnail notch or a little handle would have been a nice addition to the design. I'm happy with this pump, it works well and it was priced fairly.
