This is very pretty; howver, it is not yellow like I thought the picture was portraining.
I bought this to blow the debris that started accumulating on the fine sand substrate in our 30 gallon tank. I run it on a cheap Harbor Freight mechanical timer so it will go on occasionally for a little bit as running all the time it was waaaay too powerful for the tank, creating dunes in the sand and overpowering the fish. But as an occasional "stir up" to keep the tank crystal clear, this pump works great. Now instead of fish poop, uneaten food, and other little bits littering the bottom of the tank and needing vacuuming the tank stays looking pristine with no action.

I purchased two of these for my 180 gallon salt water tank. The flow is very good and with two pumps, it produced a lot of flow in my 180 gallon. I am giving it 3 stars because after 3 months, one of the pump has a broken swivel neck. Best pump for the money hands down!..u don't need to spend an insane amount of money to move water..too many people buy these expensive pumps like koralia, and they are no better..I've had them, and I assure u they are not any different..

Came rolled up in a small cardboard box. Everything is in great shape, however I only found the product inside, no instruction on how to apply it to the tank. They should maybe at least put something in the description on how this background is supposed to be applied. Would have given 5 stars if they had that. I am not sure if this is supposed to get glued to the inside of the tank or on the outside, or what glue to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What can I say, it's an aquarium background. don't be mistaken, because it looks like it's half blue and half black in the picture. It's really just on sheet and it's blue on one side and black on the other. It took a Little while to ship, about two and a half weeks almost. It just came in a tube and there were no instructions. I think it would be a little helpful to provide a guide on how to apply it because I'm new to the aquarist hobby and I was really confused on what to do with it. After I bought this I went into the pet store and I saw the exact same paper for 29cents per foot and only needed three feet. I have had this since May 2012 and use it as a Saltwater, Fish only tank and it has really been hard to maintain. I have to wipe it down every day because salt accumulates all over it, especially at the seams and you can forget keeping the glass cover clean. I have already had to replace the protein skimmer. The original one didn't stop working it just didn't work well enough. In fairness, this may be easier to maintain as a freshwater tank, but I regret the purchase and wish I had just gotten a larger tank that would hold more than 3 or 4 fish to make the maintenance work while. Probably could maintain a 55 gal. at the same cost with the same or even less maintenance. I have to use additional fans to keep the temperature at an acceptable level, the light emits a lot of heat even with the fans it holds. With this size tank the temperature fluctuates at the least change in environmental temperature, even small temporary change.

This light looks amazing. I have a 75 gallon mixed malawi tank. It really brings out the fish colors and they love it. It is just bright enough but not to bright that the fish are bothered. My fish love swimming around in this light. it adds a shimmer to the whole room, which I love.

The last time I saw moonlight it wasn't so blue. These LEDs are DARK BLUE. In my mind moonlight blue is a hint of blue, I could be wrong and a soft light. Buyer beware, this light fixture has a serious design flaw. The manufacturer states that it is a 48" fixture, but they don't mention that the power supply plugs into the end of the fixture. This makes the overall length of the lighting fixture more than 49 ", too long to fit in an enclosed canopy! If you have any type of enclosed canopy on your 48" aquarium this lighting fixture will not fit!!! I. Had to go to RadioShack and buy a replacement power supply, one with an elbow connector, in order to fit the fixture inside the canopy.
External ballasts double the life of your bulbs. Separate plugs for sunrise and sunset spectrum timing. Blue LEDs are nice and shimmering at night. Best bang for the buck; would definitely recommend to friends and enthusiasts.

This item is not an ornament. I was looking for something I can hang on the Christmas tree but you can't hang this. It's super heavy and doesn't even come with the strings to able to hang it so I was really dissapointed.

I purchased this item and it is exactly as described, it looks great in my den, fits in and looks great, I read the other review and I think he misunderstood what you get, as describe the waves and snd dollars are in the top and bottom frames as the picture shows, it didn't come with the coral piece inside and I didn't think it would, never says in the features it comes with the coral. Gives a cool lighting effect but what I really like is the intense amount of bubbles it puts out. --Does take up a little tank space but in a 55 gal tank it's no problem for me. Aeration is important for oxygen content and fish health. So far this product has the others beat. Unfortunately they were not really bright enough to have any affect. I would guess that 4 or 5 would be required to adequately light our tank. I have three thermometers in my big tank. This one is almost 4 to 5 degrees higher (over 10 degrees higher in Fahrenheit) than the others even when placed side by side. I also bought the SODIAL(TM) Digital LCD Fish Aquarium Marine Vivarium Thermometer in the same package, as I wasn't sure which I would like better for looks. That thermometric was in line with my traditional thermometers. Get that one.
I needed a decoration of sorts that would big enough to allow my 20" pleco room to swim through. I've tried all sorts logs for aquariums and even terrariums. The description says X-Large and sure enough, not nearly big enough. I had a temporary solution, but needed a final home. I bought this one thinking it could very well be one more miss. I was wrong. Completely big enough for the pleco to swim through, and still be able to peek though the side hole. I can't say enough. Highly recommended.
