External ballasts double the life of your bulbs. Separate plugs for sunrise and sunset spectrum timing. Blue LEDs are nice and shimmering at night. Best bang for the buck; would definitely recommend to friends and enthusiasts.

This light is a good quality light with 2 external ballasts with individual on/off switches.Cords are probably 6-8 feet long (cant remember). The unit is 96 watts total which is sufficient for my reef tanks needs. The only downside is that there is no warranty of which I know if you are willing to take the risk. My light is doing great and Ive had it for two months now, even though this isn't saying much.

After a couple of months, this light still works but the moon lights are not working properly. what a bummer, but the t-5's work great still.
